Maybe they are hoping that if they roll out the new heroic character option early, they can boost the third quarter earnings.

Time to enjoy those other games for a bit... FFXIV = great solo game! , WOW = Arena Junkie for realz! :)

I feel like I neglect these other games hard LOL
 
Well... grr. I forgot to make new guys in hopes of a possible Free Heroic. I'd imagine its only gonna be for Gold members though, seems how they have been giving away things of late. Ah well. :)
 
Frustrating, but it is what it is. Guarantee the normal patch will still be in play on the 17th. /sigh
 
I hope they manage to fix the problem I have on the launcher.. 8/10 times I can't connect to the servers.

I tried different DNS and reset router etc.. seems like others got similar problems as I do.
 
Weirdly - and I am unsure if this is either MQ or EQ - following the July patch, I've been unable to see titles, I have tried all of the /showall etc commands and all is in order in my display box also, hope they rectify that.
 
Since this is backend server maintenance, I'm hopful that MQ won't require patching.

I have this problem quite often too in the last two months. I'd guess most people around here skip the patcher though.
 
What is today's patch for? I secretly always thought they're not really doing anything..."it's a team building" day for the staff and they're at Chili's doing Happy Hour all day...

I am sure that once the update is done (going on the 5th hour for a 4 hour patch), our Redguides Guru's will get us up and running in a jiffy! And yes, @hellfyre , I was off today too :(

There's no patch. There's no updated files. MQ will work as is once servers are up.......

Server status show as up but login servers show locked. sounds like something might have popped up that they had not expected or anticipated.

they've been locked all day (if not all then at least for many hours), it *appears* that they didn't actually take them down to patch, just locked

I'm in, severs unlocked and I am using yesterday's Aug 2 VV update with KA updated.. thank you guys.
 
Just logged in myself. Sitting in guild lobby to soak up that nice Cleric buff - Persistence. :)

Unfortunately there are only 17 folks in the guild lobby including my 6.

Holy wtf! Was screech off filming a porn with Lisa? i had no idea Fallon was on this show. One of my kids was watching it the other day. Maybe I should rewatch more of it with her
