Is there a simple way to "dumb down" the Config from Live to Scars of Velious & be less confusing without all of the many options for AAs, Skills, and Spells I've never heard of / Tons of tiny little issues like not recognizing low level DoTs/Buffs ?

Or is the best bet to Powerlevel to 60 and ignore it ?

The default Live config is written mainly aimed at lategame live. It accomodates TLP stops when it can without hurting that.

Configs can be copied and edited to your liking (see the sticky in the mercs forum and/or in-game faqs for "custom" configs for more information).

I recommend anyone spending a good amount of time parked on one expansion customize their config to that expansion, probably building and updated as you go along... at least, that is what I would do.

I feel your pain, but it will be up to you to fix it, ultimately.

Edit: While both emu server configs that we carry will *definitely* have some custom spells, and maybe even a few entries and special rules, those custom spells are marked clearly in the config. I would almost base a config up to level 60 on the Project Lazarus config, and then adjust it back to Live if needed. Just food for thought for those looking to do this.
