vsab submitted a new resource:

Sacrifice.mac - Sacrifices a toon to a specific level and creates essence emeralds in the process

Automates getting a necromancer to de-level a character to a specified level by using the spell Sacrifice. I use this for power levelling (mainly to get power-levellers back to 85 or 90) so the power levellers don't go outside the 30 level range, or the zone they use ends up going light blue/green.

Idea based on an earlier macro by @Armyboxer99

Requirements:

MQ2DanNet on both toons.
A level 51 + Necromancer with the spell Sacrifice in their spellbook...

Do not know if anything change but what I am seeing when I tried to use this is:

server_charactername wants me to sacrifice them.

Then the /tar cannot find that character, Sub Event_Sacrifice

@vsab Nice, I have been doing this by taking my guy to Sarith, binding him there, and then /travelto argath

Come back a few hours later and they are deleveled, I will try this next time.

For some reason I didn't notice the reply, I'll take a look.

For some reason I'm getting an error on the necro: Could not find PC server_name. There may be something I don't understand about dannet so I just changed the macro to directly /tar name. Other than that it works great, thank you =).

There is a flag for dannet to use FullNames which includes the server

Try /dnet FullNames off

Not on at the minute to test.

Working fine for me... any ideas on a good place to do this? I take it the victim needs to be bound where you're doing it so you can repeat over and over... just pick an old world city out of the way and hope nobody notices?

EDIT: Touch of the Divine messing it up on the cleric if it fires, might see if I can add in a loop to re-request the sacrifice if you don't die for some reason, would allow you to set up a few characters as victims and they will re-request if they don't get sacrificed due to conflict.

Yeah just need to keep a clr/brd/sk at ~85, I've been pl'ing up toons trying to make a raid force of 54, 1-60 in hatchery then into an exp group to 80, once the pl'ers go over 90 they need to be delevelled to take the next batch coming from hatchery.

This was great! Worked like a charm to bring my toon exactly where I wanted him to be.
