nope its just that it was too situational and I was seeing wizzies going OOM using it, so I pulled the trigger on moving back to Harvest... as Lurk will tell you in his posts, a sure thing beats a gamble.... for now...

You have to write different situations into it. Example if the target is under 50% don't use it unless its a named. Don't use it if no one is on xtarget etc. You also gotta remember gambit adds damage to each nuke so the small nukes you're using are actually doing more damage. Basically I made it so no nuke under 3s cast time will ever be used if you have gambit on unless you get a GOM proc.

Changes put in late yesterday/earlier today are working really well. Twincast is humming again, and it's use of harvest/gambit (while not completely transparent to me as I don't main the wiz) seems to be managing its mana MUCH better while maintaining great dps output. Well done. With a cleric and beast in group and chanter out of group for buffs and slows and mez and such, no one is going out of mana, including the wiz.
 
Sorry, one issue I saw:

Bot will try casting Twincast Rk. II, even if Improved Twincast VI is up. This won't let the spell-version land (Improved blocks the spell version). A check added for Imp Twin should clear it up.

And to clarify, that's in the latest alpha release in your dropbox.

Sorry there is no real TBM version at this time... although eoknuke works pretty good in tbm you are missing a spell...

The gambit fix may not be 100%, either. Once I had a chance to watch the bot for a while the bot was sometimes casting gambit when the mob was at like 9%. Now, it also might be that I'm killing mobs too fast (wiz, mage, ranger, beastlord, sk, cleric group with at least another toon or two out of the group), but still! I'll watch gambit a bit more.
 
I should have the TBM version fixed up in the next week though... working the kinks outta the EoK one, but I use the EoK one on my TBM freebies all the time and it works quite well

the gambit needs 1 last check, to only fire off at 40% of mob or greater, just have not finished adding that yet... on my list..

Ohh, sorry, my bad. I thought that 40% or above check was in the alpha version you just posted.
 
nope I have it doing both gambit and harvest, testing that 1st then moving to streamline the gambit....
 
Might want to make that 80% or greater for gambit if you have more than one wizard... :) Otherwise, unless you get a TC proc, or have TC/ITC already, the mob might die before you get the 4 fast casts out.
 
Heya Raz,

Just downloaded this and had a couple of questions. Everthing is configured as out of the box by just turning /mac eoknuke and I'm running oom after 20 mobs or so, what can I do to fix that? My wizard is in full set of T1 EoK gear, with 106k mana pool.


I noticed Dichotomic Fire was casting when Twincast or Improved Twincast were up. Is there anyway to set this up so it only casts when GoM but not Twincast or Improved Twincast. I think this might be causing it to burn alot of mana.

hey raz i dont know if u added it on alpha, but maybe u can add something for the swarms pet attack a new mob since wizzies got an AA for pet discipline /pet qswarm

In a recent revision (I think eoknuke19) I noticed that the spell loadout changed significantly and that frostbound alliance was gone. Mana usage seems much much better but I am curious about the alliance spell. I didn't see it fire before but I wonder if there is a way to work it in when you have a 3 wiz group. If not is this on the roadmap?
 
The alliance spell was a great idea but a broken execution in the real world so a change was needed....

in group or out of group? I am working on the out of group crap now, if the wiz is out of group you need to add the tank or ma that is out of group to your extended target like you do with a cleric.... and the tank needs to be pulling and fighint within about 35 of you... again, working on the cause and fix for this now...
 
Nope their in group - group has 2 wizards in it along with the tank and cleric and mixed options for the rest. Cleric is set as the leash to toon. Tank is set to main assist 1. Both Doleashtoon and Doleash are set to 1 but have tried them set to Doleashtoon = 1 and Doleash = 0. Neither of them follows at all.
 
Oh, I thought you said just standing there as in not casting, he is not following... yeah that is my fault, was phasing out the old inc file and need to finish the new internal one to follow... next on my list....

With the Giants of EoK punting my gnome wizzies like footballs the follow is a priority for me, I wrote eoknume for ME afterall! you guys just get to reap the benefits of what I want it to do for me! lol
 
Hey razkle did u remove casting dicho in 1.9? Not seeing it casting it anymore...also on the txt notes the 1.9 is showing 1.8...just checked if i was using last version

alpha 1.9 is the latest and dico should only go off in GOM now... working my butt off on 2.0

Beta 1.9 is in the Dropbox! toons now follow as intended

Was this in your alpha release folder for a while? If I recall, I've been using the alpha version for quite some time without any issues. It's managing mana much better and all that. I don't move my toons, though, so I never tested the following routine.

So, to clarify, the version 1.9 in the beta dropbox is different from the 1.9 in the alpha dropbox?

Looking forward to the beta, then, because the alpha worked really well for what I used it for (static mass killing of EoK mobs).

Maybe create an "archive" folder inside the alpha folder in dropbox. Then, we can go back and grab archived versions if we need to, but they aren't out there confusing people between the alpha and beta and release versions. Same with beta... we you push stuff to the release folders just toss the beta files into an "archive" folder there, as well.

If the military's taught me anything its version control accounts for like 75% of our issues staffing plans/documents.
 
i dont know what happened, i didnt change anything, im targeting the main tank, typing /mac eoknuke

now the wizard is trying to Chain case lower element AA on the tank...

step 4. panic, the world has ended...

no seriously, try a reboot...
 
it was something with the mod rod being on the cursor and not having a empty slot on the top for it. Reset didn't fix it. Normally it just says invalid inventory slot or something, first time i had this happen.

working like normal, once the mod rod was destroy and i got a new one and didn't have it happen again.
 
not seeing the wizzie meming spells when i start the macro..also he wont sit on places where he cant summon horse...for that im using urs afk nuke (version 1.9)
 
I removed spell memming for now, working on a simpler check and mem so it wiz does not stand for 20 seconds before attacking 1st time you run it.... will look at the sit string again and test it...

Was just going to post this issue but saw that you're already aware of it. Love the macro so far, once the memming comes back it'll be perfect - it's just annoying having to remember to re-mem when I drop a spell for a transport. Thanks for your work, 1.9 is great.

i have his spells saved on a set since 1.5, when he added the 2 mana spells line on cast bars...i guess it was the last change on spells rotation
 
Hi.

nothing happens

I really need to be able to simply target a mob and start the nuking.
No auto assist, no MT/MA.

Ok, this is weird.
I am solo. No merc.

Manualassist says it is on.
I click on a mob, nothing happens.
Just for the heck of it i cast a spell on mob.
Bam. the macro starts nuking till mob is dead.

I go pull a ton of mobs.
Click on spell gem mob gets nuked and EOKNuke kills them all working down one by one.

So I am standing in a mobs path.
It gets to me, smacks me, EQ says I cannot assist myself, click on mob, boom it dies and EoKNuke kills the adds.
 
eoknuke is a macro, afknuke is a plugin

macros starts with /mac macroname

/nuke on is related to afknuke
