Hey all,

Historically I shared group gear and augs. Slight change, I'm only sharing augs now.

Hopefully this helps someone, if it does ... awesome. If you feel that I made a mistake, by all means, educate me.

What's in the XLS:

well at least im not the only one with spreadsheets for gear

I have ones for my casters too

Why are you stacking Stamina on the magicians? Ive always stacked Intelligence
Hsta = HP = staying alive, and without any mana issues staying alive is king. "Swole is the Goal" - Mother Teresa (probably)

I was stacking hdex on my casters cause i had them melee too - but have switched to sta now and just let them sit on mounts

I get that however my Mages never die or get hit. So What makes his scenario different is why i was curious.

You need bigger pulls!

I like to test my limits, so Hsta gives me that extra edge when mana is never a concern.

HSTA gives HPs, and Melee shielding. Mostly (i said mostly), melee hits are going to be the bane of softy classes. you get Spell shielding off Hint/Hwis, but casters already have a bump to that.

So 20k HPs, and 15% more melee shielding, or 20k mana and 15% more spell shielding (on top of innate..).

my 2cp.

It doesn't actually matter. The mana you'd get from Hint might get you an extra half spell cast at the end of your mana bar. The extra HP you'd get from Hsta might let you survive an extra 1/10th of a second under direct melee agro. In the group game, neither one of those is the *right* choice, nor is one the *wrong* choice. Pick whatever you want to pad your Magelo profile with.

On raids, the extra HP probably wins out because there are so many times that AoE or DOT damage hits the entire raid that it could make the difference between being 100-to-zero dead or alive with 5-10% HP by the time a splash/rain heal lands. But the truth is that gear in modern EQ is so homogenized that there isn't any REAL choices to be made. Just always be jumping to the next tier of gear that you can get.

I'm generally lazy with my druid(only nonmelee I use) because it doesn't REALLY matter and would mean a whole different Todo list for farming, she gets whatever isn't on my list for the rest, but when I have currency for the nonlore augs I go Wis. I'd do the same if I ran a caster but with int, but if I had mostly casters it'd be different.

I wish more zones were flagged as outdoors for the mount though, bc drus run through Mana like my household runs through toilet paper if she's dpsing. Even if focused all on Wis it's only a few more casts, and she runs out when I'm farming not during specific events. Raiding would be a whole other story. But heroics are so much more important for everything for melees and tanks than casters and healers, same with gear etc so long as you have a tank etc that's good on adds etc and don't raid. Even then they're much less make or break than the melee/tank counterparts. Placement too. As far as game mechanics go, they can ignore a ton the others can't while AAS etc are of the same importance, and lose very little.

Extreme imbalance there, so far as what matters to the jobs, but the actual power balance with all things equal isn't out of whack at least. I guess the trade-off is they have to run around in dresses or buy heroes forge lol (casters anyway). So really, unless you raid, the answer is kinda whatever floats yer boat.

First! thank you for sharing this, I've never had a warrior before, and this is super helpful getting him set up.

Second! I normally keep a Luminous Restless Ice on each char because it enhances damaging and healing abilities. What are your thoughts on using this versus +103 Hagility?

One's slot 3, one's slot 5.....

oh damn, oops!

I'm transferring his info to my existing spreadsheet and screwed it up

Maybe I'm missing it. How does the small stone of shadows offer additional +3100 damage?

On the caster side the hands and neck augs share the same lore group. Grisly Skull of Might has the higher hps and hSta so choosing this over Tegi Contemplation Sphere.

@Granditos depends on the war. hsta for a raid war and hdex for a group war is generally the way i do it

@Warmonger once upon a time hagi was the way to go. the devs had the bright idea to wipe all the reasons to stack agi. the end of another SK dev player wanting to tank like a warrior story

At the end of the day even at the raid level, the benefit of stacking hsta only is going to be razor slim vs hdex to crit cap level you desire (aka with what other additions) and then going hsta for the rest.

Dumb question, how do you know you hit the crit cap limit?

Also, thank you for providing this spreadsheet hytiek! My sorry azz is always behind the times and I've been struggling to figure out the best augments to get for my Mage, Shaman and Bard. I think they are 50 percent empty on their augment slots, while my SK, Monk and BL are maxed and doing good.

I wouldnt get a nos aug for range/charm. get the tov and cov player made proc ones.
What aug in CoV for range or charm has proc? The only one I know of is the ToV and it's from the earrings quest. Is there another that I missed on? Thanks.

No, you're not missing anything. The only CoV Aug that will fit in the Range/Charm slot is the Petrified Sharktooth.

There are SKs that can tank as well as warriors. I do it on a regular basis across every NOS raid. I am not here to say it has to be that way, just to say it can be that way. I am probably more versitale when the warriors are tanking and im just a backup but I have learned to enjoy the game either way.
