Guide - Multiboxing EverQuest: The Red Guide (videos)

What approximate system specs are required to run 6/12/18 instances? How viable is running 3 groups with 1 of each class through old raids as I progress?

using framelimiter (which is built-in) just about any modern system is going to be able to run 6, running 12/18+ just requires enough ram. 32 or 64g of ram is plenty

Before my hiatus I could run 48 toons with plugins / macros with 32Gb of ram. I run with 2 different install paths, my main 6box had standard settings because they were the ones I interacted with the most. The remaining boxes run out of a 2nd install location with shit settings that I didn't really care what it looked like to scale down everything required.

This thread is to discuss the "The Red Guide" video series, meant to get new users up & running as quickly as possible. Feedback of any type is appreciated.

Very helpful after watching several times i got most of the ideas working...thanks again

Just wanted to say thanks for these videos. Played EQ a long time ago and have been getting nostalgia to come back to live and do some boxing. Wh[BGCOLOR=initial]enever I finally get around to setting it all up here these will help immensely. [/BGCOLOR]

Awesome, thanks for making a YouTube tutorial for this program. It appeared a bit intimidating at first due to not having a background in any kind of coding/scripting. Thanks for lightening the load!

i was going to ask the question but i found out (you have to run it as administrator or it wont load) also somone else told about the LDR tag i was wondering about it. love it so far and have only use the follow me and mimic me buttons

I'm looking for a very simple way for me to not have to alt tab so much while 2 boxing. Since I'm already paying for two accounts, I don't have much extra money to pay for for Very vanilla. Will I be able to use any features to help me out as a level one? My characters are level 125.

Thanks

No, not really, but have a month on me to check it out!

Please check out the RedCent Help Article over the next month, you may find it helpful in maintaining a subscription after that.

I suggest you take some time to study the resources available to you, and also make note of the possible ramifications of any third-party program use with EQ.

Welcome!

Hey that's great! do I have to do something to receive red cents from you?

Thanks

Folks can redcent 4 times a day as a "react", you'd earn 10 redcents per one you received, and the giver would earn 1 cent per redcent reaction they gave out

No! That's already taken care of (you have level 2 access). I was simply alerting you to a way that you may be able to cover your subscription in the future.

Does the level 1 access allow me to do anything? I cant figure out how to download the launcher. it says i need level 2.

ty for replying. i have only alt tabbed and this is new.

it isn't hard to learn how to compile code - but the whole point of what we offer here at redguides on top of the amazing community and wealth of information, is that we do all the work for you - you just click a few buttons and off ya go.

you should familiarize yourself with how our redcents work, 50 redcents can get you 1 month of lvl 2

:rc A Redcent is the currency of our community. You can trade them in for Level 2 access, Krono, and more. Learn about them here:
