Which Tank mode would work best if I am doing my own driving, my own pulling, no camp set. I just want it to use whatever abilities it can once I attack a mob on my own? Hunter mode seems to imply that its gonna roam or pull. Can that just be disabled? Thanks
Manual

I use sictank and have a button to /war resetcamp whenever i move around.

I thought manual would do nothing. If it still used AA's and Discs after I manually attacked then that would be great. I guess I will just buy it and play around. Thanks all!
manual refers to movement.
There is no camp, you have to manually turn on attack. Once attack is on, it will automatically use the abilities as needed based on the same logic used during normal combat when using any of the other modes.

Perfect! Thank you!

Use Manual mode for that. Make sure you're set as Tank and Assist so the rest of the group knows what to do with their settings.

thanks! also, there a way to prevent it from making you sit down? it looks too unnatural
Get human friends that play, so they can stand up and be 90% useless.

The team does things based on modes. Weather it be the driver, or the XXX class. so if you dont want them all sitting, dont put them in camp mode. Chase is better anyways.

thanks. understood, just seeing what the options are, always like to tweak. Coming from one of the "other sites" that is marcro based and wrote some customs myself. really liking this tool. Thanks a ton for creating it!! most of my crew are casters on horses often so all most looks normal :)

Shameless plug, but I find Grouper Chase mode works perfectly for this. Been using it for months now and would not go back. It uses a combination of Vorpal mode (not a tank mode, as Sic would emphasize, but will still do tank things if set as MT) with an auto-attack function that targets and attacks mobs within your camp radius (without a camp set). So no setting zone-wide camp and using SicTank and no manual mode letting you die when you stop paying attention and mobs beat you to death while just sitting there.

Being these are automation and unable to read minds -- We will sit when we're not in combat in a mode that uses a camp. Because I don't know if you're done pulling, or if there will be a wait between pulls, or if you're stopped pulling because you need a 5 minute break etc.
Toons sitting is how you benefit from fast regen, or just how you med endurance or mana in general. I've always been confused at why people say it looks unnatural because sitting is how you get endurance and mana back faster. Honestly if someone isn't sitting down then they're just making themselves less efficient. I've ALWAYS sat down between pulls even before the automation and not sitting down is what seemed unnatural to me.

In chase mode, we will sit when the MA sits down.
In manual mode we won't sit unless you manually sit them down. But we also won't engage unless you manually engage as well.

So you need to pick your poison here. Do you want automated group members or do you want to micro manage your team?

I'm running my 120 warrior in Huntertank mode in plane of life along with a 105 ranger and 120 druid and 3 mercs. My warrior keeps running up to the mobs and I get this " could not find a valid target for /face. When I make the ranger hunter tank he doesn't get this message and attacks the mobs. There is nothing else running other than Lootly and overseer. What am I doing wrong/missing?

Odd indeed since all the plugins use the same function for pulling.

Try /war DebugDuringPull on
See if we can get some information on which face command is failing.

Can we add Flash of Anger(rk II, RK III) Combat Ability to Defensives? It's an older ability they never replaced but it's extremely beneficial and can use alongside of primary defense skills.

Flash of Anger is already a thing. It should even tell you as much when you first load the plugin when it's listing all the things.
Health under 50 or it's named and health is under 70, and you don't have the buff Two-Handed Proficiency. Quite literally one of the first things checked in combat.

Apologies, yes, I see it in there. It just doesn't trigger as much as I would like is all. Very good plugin overall. thanks a ton!

Any chance a check could be added for Gut Punch and Knee Strike to not overwrite it if it’s already on a target? I run two wars in group (yeah I know) and the second war is constantly overwriting the debuffs 1-2 seconds after they land

dont really have plans on doing that, but we can think about it, since we do with a few other classes of similar abilities - a warrior has few "jobs", one of them is whack`n continually. they're fast recasts and i suspect these detrimental portions don't stack with other similar ones, so i'd imagine it is a net waste - but i'll have a look at it this weekend (when im back at my home pc)

This is all it says once in a while, otherwise he won't target the mobs most of the time. Could the mesh be bad?
Phil, I need the debug at the time the /face is failing. Just showing the debug, or just showing the /face failing is only one half of the two halves.

I'm also at a point where I think there is something else that is causing it, I feel like I'd be getting a lot more reports of the issue if it were more than just you.
But I'm still trying to entertain the idea that some setting you have is causing this and I really would like to get to the part where I have both halves of the puzzle. Starting to think you're just pulling my leg to mess with me.

Haha. I'm not messing with you. I'm in bed now. Will try again tomorrow. I really appreciate patience with me. I'll update you later. I'm sure it's isolated to some setting I goofed up.

I am sorry Chat but this is all that's being put out when I use debug

I imagine the error for /face and the debug are going to the same window (Since the debug is going to the normal MQ console and not the plugin window)
Which, if the plugin were the one with the issue, both the /face error and the debug would go to the same window at the same time and we'd be able to see the error with /face and the debug mixed together in some form, weather it was between the outputs from the debug or in the middle of the outputs for the debug.

Please PM me your character cwtn INI and Macroquest.ini. At the very least I can look duplicate the settings and see if it's possible to replicate the issue. Please keep in mind that either file could contain personally identifiable information about your characters. Do take care to remove character names from the files if you're concerned about such things, but regardless do send them in PMs and not post them to the discussion thread.

assist mode, still taunts and uses aggro skills ?
if you are assigned group main tank - it does tanking stuff. yep.

Is there a command to switch to settings tab for the plugins?

Whenever I switch to raid mode, most of the groups automatically start chasing the main assist. There are always a few that won't do it automatically and I have to manually tab over to them and click on the settings tab before they register the change and chase the main assist.

Use the cwtn/cwtna alias. If you want your whole group to be in raid mode, /cwtna raidmode on nosave (or eliminate the nosave if you want to turn it back off manually. Same for chase or assist. /cwtna mode 2 or /cwtna mode 1
