if you uncheck the aoe button in the gui will the tank while in tank mode stope using the AE taunt?

Some odd behaviour today when War on puller tank

Pull settings
Min Mana 20Med to 90
Cleric only

War waits sub 20 mana on cleric as expected but starts at pulling again at 20% on cleric.

Posting on phone if you need more to investigate let me know and when I am back online I will gather the info.

Sk work like normal

edit: Not game breaking just takes the 30 seconds every pull before resting mana regen kicks in.

You sure those settings are correct? Nothing has been changed in groupwatch in a while

Med start is actually 30. Still a thing though.

My stick inexplicably stopped working yesterday on MQ2 war. I turn it on and off in the app, still no dice. What else did I mess up?

well, the adjustable stick usage only happens for assist modes. the non-stick happens in tanking modes.

are you sure you weren't in manual mode where we don't stick? or... did you turn off usestick?

Usestick is on.... never had a problem wtih it not acquring targets when i was in manual mode

manual mode doesn't grab targets automatically... it is manual mode.

I been using MQ2War for 6-8 months almost exclusively on manual mode and its never had any problem orienting me to new mobs when i hit auto attack. Until 3 days ago.

Sounds like you're describing SicTank mode tbh

Manual mode does none of that for me, never has.... have to target manually, turn on attack manually, then it just hits discs and AA/Abilities for me. That's it.

Either way, to achieve what you want, change it to SicTank

i think this was covered in one of sic's videos, but if youre using mq2war and you want it to bow pull you obviously need arrows equipped...does it automatically summon arrows and then equip them? i just need the item?

you can addclicky items to summon arrows, works well to keep yourself equipped

Clickies:
For clickies, pick up the item you want to add and have the item on your cursor and do the following.
/war AddClicky Downtime/Defensive/Offensive/Burn/Summon/ShrinkGroup/Cure/PullItem [If it's summon, how many you want to keep on you]
/war RemoveClicky Downtime/Defensive/Offensive/Burn/Summon

I only ever used Manual and Hunter mode cause i drive from my tank. When I hit auto attack it will snap me around to the mob i have targeted and get me in initial range. Then after that its mine to do stuff with until it dies. maybe im not using the right term here cause its very obviously done it for me for a while now and now its not.

it hasn't tho.

i have noticed recently that while my warrior is in PullerTank mode, if he brings a rare spawn back to the group to party and 2 or 4 adds come along too, my tank will wig out once back at the group. He will target the named and then himself or another member of my boot squad and just ping pong targeting back and forth until the named (rare spawn) is dead, also my computer will start beeping while this ping pong targetting is occurring. This is the normal beep that goes off when you first engage a named. The does not happen "all" the time and I have not seen it happen on a non-named mod.

I did a brief search for this behavior but did not really find anything, is this new or something that has been seen before?

Mq2war does not target itself or other party members at all.
I would double check you don't have a bad react or a macro trying to do somethin.

You can turn off beeponnamed if u don't want to beeponnamed, but your issue sounds like something else is changing its target, and then mq2war is changing to the target it wants.

Is there anything in your mq2war output that would indicate mq2war is targetinng5itself or the teammates

I had to rename the old log file since it was 2 GB, A new log has started, I will check it when it happens again. It only happens on named mobs that have adds. It seems to stop if I switch from pullertank to sictank during the fight, after the named is dead, I can switch back to pullertank and its business as usual. The only new thing that I have done is added "mq2say=1" to my MQ.ini file yesterday, which should have nothing to do with it. I also double checked that roles were setup correctly, PU was not setup on the tank, set it. Not sure if that would of caused it since he is still set as MT/MA.

Thanks for help, will keep an eye on the log for more clues.

log file? I was asking what gets output in your mq2war window - it would say what it was doing

Puller doesn't matter except if someone else is puller for purposes of campoverlapbuffer

but again, mq2war doesn't target itself or others for any reason - so there is *something* that is acting weird causing it.

like an mq2react, or a macro running, or you added a cure clicky that will cure other members of your group and they're getting a curable dot on them with that item etc. seeing what your output in your mq2war window will tell us if it is mq2war doing something.

The white mark on "Targeting:[12274]" is my toon name. You can see why I am saying its ping-ponging back and forth. IDK.

You didn't mention any clickies like cure items added

Or what about anything whack with your xtarget assignments?

it hasn't tho.

But it did for me. I have never used sic tank or any other mode unless i am just letting my warrior killings. I dont like how it sticks to mobs when i need to move them. When I want to reposition mobs, i need to do it now, not when i can turn the setting off.

I know you think it has, but i'm sorry to tell you, cwtn and i wrote this thing and it hasn't and doesn't.
mq2war in manual mode doesn't stick or move to mobs in any way and hasn't

Ok, then something else has been on and now its not. I have asked questions about it before. because my toon was spinning around and putting his back to the mobs when i didn't want it to. What changes have been made which would disable this?

Sounds like u have a macro running, or follow me stuck on

Just to bring closure to my issue and post the solution so that it may help someone else in the future. With help from @Sic, it looks like the culprit of my issues were based around my newly acquired clicky "Cleansing Rod" that was assigned to mq2war - Cure Clickies. Sic suggested that I turn off "UseCures" to test this out and the issue has not happened since. Kickass.

aye perfect, now we know that its an issue, we can look at fixing it - its probably just trying to change too fast and doesn't get a chance to actually cure before swapping back to dmg target. as soon as we could confirm it wasn't external, my suspicion was exactly that cleansing rod (since nothing in the mq2war routine does any self or team targetting) and boom

Suggestions for MQ2War.

Agro clickies grouping
Defensive 1 2 3 etc for clickies (some items don't need to be clicked at the same time or be metered over time, not all at once)
Program way too aggressive about post res downtime clickies... sometimes I need to get back into a fight to save my group, not cast my familiar.

if you want special custom usage out of those items - as in not use your defensive stuff when you put it to be used defensively, you would want another way to handle them because defensive is going to use them when your defensive conditions are met, the item is ready, and you don't have the buff from the item.

downtime happens when you're in downtime (when you don't have mobs on xtarget etc).

My warrior has 5 downtime clickies and insists on clicking every one of them to succession when hes res'd. Whether I'm engaged in combat or not. So, there's something more to this.

I can be hitting mobs and its trying to cast familiar.

do you have some latency issues? where mobs aren't going on your xtarget window quite yet? because if you're not in combat and don't have xtargets, we think you're downtiming it

sounds like that other thread where you said you switched internet and you are having response issues with other toons.

we'll add our on-zoned timer to try and help accommodate issues with server latency for the downtime clickies

We already do.

Probably a little, but i havent looked cause I was toobusy trying to make sure my cleric didn't die. I will try and look at this next time. I was literally hitting the mob with my sword after ducking last time however, so i doubt it wasnt on my extended targets.
