Plugin - MQ2War (7 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

Having issues with UseBattleLeap. It used to stay on until a week or so ago. It is toggled off by default now so when ever i load up my client or reload the plugin, its disabled. I have manually entered the command /war UseBattleLeap on (and verified the .ini file), and it turns on in the UI for the duration of current login, but it will be disabled again after logging out.

I'm not entirely sure if this is mq2war doing this, or something else interfering... however, I've only noticed it happen on my Warrior

I drive the Warrior in Manual mode, pick up targets in the usual way either a cycle nearest key or select from xtar, but every now and then the target will just clear on its own (usually at a very inconvenient moment, like right as I was about to attack it lol) then I'm scrambling to pick it back up before it kills someone

This only seems to happen if I'm grouped with another real player and they happen to be pulling... is it possible that them fading a mob onto me as it approaches, is confusing him?

Like I say, dunno if it's an mq2war thing or something else, but wondered if anything obvious springs to mind if it's not?

nothing comes to mine. even after going through the code to check a few things even if the other person was MA - since you're in manual mode it won't do any switching with ma or anything. in the classes that do buffing (clr, shm, bst, etc) if you were in manual mode and was fighting something and needed to cast on another player, you would target them to do so, and then not re-target because you're in manual mode --- but warrior doesn't cast anything on other folks.

are you fighting near chokidai? they do the mob aoe memblur thing (they would also clear from xtarget)

No chokidai's, this happens all over ToV, not all the time, maybe two or three times a night... just enough to be irksome.

Thinking of Chokidai's though, could it be my Bard friend fading a split second before I've actually got agro (just got mob targeted) - xtar empties, so does War target?

you should still have your target tho, right? if you have a target we don't really care about whatever else.

is it possible your target is warping away from you? We have a cleartarget check if your mob disappears and reappears double your campradius distance *away* from you - this is to not chase after mobs if they gate and de-aggro. but this wouldn't happen on incoming - this would happen if you're actively fighting the mob (attack on and such) and the mob ended up double your campradius distance away from you suddenly
 
Yeah it's bizarre ... definitely not a warping thing, I target an incoming mob, and just as it's in range I go to turn on auto attack and boom... target clear before I manage to press the button
 
Is the PC set as puller? I have had weird glitches happen when people arnt ID in the group..
not bad thinking, but manual mode doesn't care about anything because its not reacting to stuff or assisting or any of that stuff so definitely shouldn't give 2 bananas about puller
 
So does this work with KA? Or do I use this separate from KA? I guess what am asking is if am using KA on y other toons and am manually play my SK and want the other toons to assist will the MQ2 war plugin control my warrior? I just want him to DPS cause my SK will be be MT/MA. I am having a hard time setting the .ini for KA on my warrior so that he does not try to be MT he is constantly trying to get agro and I dont want him to. Seems MQ2war would be the simple solution once set to the right mode.

all the cwtn class plugins are intended to not be run with a conflicting combat macro. if you try and run kissassist and mq2warrior you're going to have a bad time.

mq2warrior doesn't care what the other characters are using/playing - it will just focus on being a warrior for your warrior and respect what mode they are in.

to have your warrior assist and only do damaging stuff and not his defensive and threats, he would just be in group and not assigned as group main tank nor in a tank mode.

If you tag a mob, pause the plugin, relocate 2x your camp radius away and unpause the plugin, the plugin will react as if the mob had warped.

This simulates a mob warping, even though no warping has occurred.

We use a function to clear targets, so it's easy to see everywhere in the plugin we do it.

9 places in total.

when adding something to ignore. (3)
when switch with MA (2)
and when the plugin thinks the mob warped away. (1)

A small camp radius can inadvertently cause this.

For example. Campradius 5. mob would only need to move 10 units on a single plugin pulse (0.6 seconds) in order for the plugin to have considered it has "warped"

I see, I've not altered the camp radius, it's whatever the default is (24 rings a bell? not sure) - I'll try bumping that up though and see what happens, cheers 👍

and kills him from behind. Also , he will try to pull the quest mob orcs lying on the ground near Ry'gorr mine entrance.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ignoring things with a command.
/war ignore
/war ignore the spawns exact name I want to ignore

without anything after ignore it will choose your target to ignore and add it to the Ignores INI.
when you pass it arguments it adds the string to ignore.
IE: /war ignore a gnarled treant
will add "a gnarled treant" to the ignores list. this must be the spawns exact name for it to get ignored. I recommend using the target option when able.
if you ignore your target, and the target is the pulltarget, war will clear the pulltarget, shut off nav, clear your actual target, and choose something else to pull.

Is there anyway you could have a check if the puller has a movement debuff and not go out pulling until it fades? In particular I've seen my warrior go out in OT with the effects of "Rake" which slows movement by 35%.

no plans for this at the moment, but maybe some enhancement in the future. I added it to our issue/enhancement tracker - it shouldn't be too rough to implement.

I suggest if you're in an area that has mobs that will hit you with movement speed debuffs that you use huntertank and have the rest of your team chase you because if you go and pull a mob, you still might get raked on the way back.
 
With the last update, all the toons that are using the plugins including the war, are spamming BP clickies on burn since i put it on burn clickies for most of them.

This worked! Bumped up camp radius to 100 and haven't had a single target clear since Wednesday last week.... spank you very much! :toot:
 
I downloaded it and it works great but there was a box at the top that allows me to use drop downs for the commands. Now it is gone and I am having to figure out the commands by typing. How do I get that BOX BACK?
you should also definitely watch the CWTN UI video as it will likely answer questions you didn't know you had
 
I've been using mq2war clr shm ber and ench this last week or so. My ranger is KA. For some reason all the loot settings on the 5 toons that use cwtn plugins have been forgotten. Everything that's been marked an ag nv etc. Has been erased. Any idea why this happened? Btw I absolutely love these plugins and will be buying rogue n monk soon. Thanks

that's odd - but we don't do anything at all with loot in any fashion - in fact, cwtn and i actually do our loot differently - I use mq2autoloot, and he uses in game loot with a loot macro he has - but we specifically don't have the cwtn plugins doing anything with loot
 
Weird for sure as it's only the classes that use mq2 plugs. I'll keep an eye on it. I've rebooted and sometimes the new loots settings I've checked off are forgotten again
 
Got the mq2war, just tried it... seems like the warrior is body pull. But on the first page seems like has been added bow pull... but I don't seem to understand.. or able to find the button on the Warrior UI on bow pull or range pull. Anyone can tell me... how to make my warrior bow pull?

he will use his bow if he has one equipped and arrows - if he can't find LoS on his way to pull, he will body pull. You are likely just in an area where he doesn't get los until he's already at the mob
