Release MQ2Status

You could make into a hotkey and just change the name of the item within the hotkey each time you want to try to find something different. I do this with the Use Item hotkey, normally set up to use fellowship isignia but will change the name to clicky items for quests. Just some food for thought possibly.

I can set it up with a Lua and a bind, and probably manage to get it a few different ways to achieve my results. I have some item destruction code I wrote that I can convert without too much issue to just find items and do some modified echoes back for the right output. Just need to take some time away from a couple other projects I'm also working on, so for now I'll just add it to my list.

Issue I noticed over the weekend playing on Test server when requesting status of Invis everyone comes back as red even with Invis and IVU on, may well be the issue with spell reading IDs that is going on with test atm

yup, nothing in status changed, so likely related to mq issues.

I absolutely love this plugin. I use the invis command all the time. I know this is probably a niche request but is there a way to add a check for Lesson of the Devoted to the plugin? I normally use a hotkey to get the group to activate lesson at the same time when exping but every now and then someone is mid cast when the command goes over or someone is just stubborn and doesn't cast it. It would help if I could hit a hotkey that displays if everyone has the buff much like the invis/ivu hotkey works so I would know if I need to tab over and click Lesson manually on a specific character. If it can't be done, is there a way I can create a hotkey that would send that information to the character I drive with so I don't have to go through everyone's buffs to see if their lesson is on?

You can use boxhud to display it. I put it on a different tab than normal since it is short duration only, but it checks the buff slot it is active and returns the slot number. Found that easiest to configure.

in the meantime you can /noparse /bcaa //bc ${Me.Buff[Lesson of the Devoted].ID}

- Report Spell name

- /status spell # will report all the spells in that level by name, so you can see what rank they are. It will also tell you what Upgrade component type (minor, lesser, median etc based on level.
- status name will report all the spells (dbg does reuse spell names unfortunately) and their rank
- minor deprecation update (3c2c7fb)

question, is there a way to use /status quest to see what step of the said quest we are on? or maybe a different plugin? to make quest life easier?

no, not at this time in status (i have some prelim on that, but nothing for the plugin yet)

you can use the task tlo if you want to echo a query

I use an event like this:

Less:
[taskupdate]
trigger="Your task '#1#' has been updated#*#"
command=/bc Task Update ${EventArg1} now on step ${Task[${EventArg1}].Step.Index}:${Task[${EventArg1}].Step}.

Unfortunately there is an open issue with MQ not recognizing all of the achievements. It isn't a status issue per sey

if you look in the achievement inspector - mq is missing several things

This is the only listings that MQ "sees" for collections in the acehievement inspector

these are all of the things eq shows inside achievements for collections for ToL

Request /status faction
you can't - not really. I really wish you could.

faction information isn't available until your faction window is open and populated - and i have no idea if it stays corrected updated after that open once

here's an example with a hotkey to check "Dark Reign" faction
but this wouldn't work without opening your faction window - which isn't something i'd really like mq2status to have to do
Less:
/bcaa //faction
/noparse /bcaa //bc ${Window[FactionWnd].Child[FAC_FactionList].List[${Window[FactionWnd].Child[FAC_FactionList].List[=Dark Reign]},2]}
/bcaa //timed 5 /echo ${Window[FactionWnd].DoClose}
if/when MQ is able to get that information without the window being opened - i'd love to add this, it is something i've wanted to do since i made status

Is there a way to report missing spells? I've done /status spell 120 (example) and have no idea what I am looking at for the output. Is it showing spells the character has already?

it tells you the status of your 120 spells - meaning what ranks of spells you have. to help you manage what upgrades you need.

it does not tell you missing spells

eq already has this built-in > here <

Less:
/outputfile inventory
/outputfile spellbook
/outputfile missingspells
/outputfile guild
/outputfile raid
/outputfile realestate
/outputfile guildhall
/outputfile recipes

I personally like doing something like /outputfile missingspells zzz${Me.Name} to make it easier to find a file named zzzSic.txt in my eq directory

Using dannet ( i think that is what is called) i know how to echo to the group each of my group mates total xp and aa count and aa xp, but how would i send that to my macroquest chat window? i know the kissassist echos dps to my mq window.

Also, is there a way to request a buff status of true/false to be echoed back the same way?

i think this is an mq2status question so i'm going to merge it into mq2status thread. Please make sure to post in the discussion threads of the resources you're asking about

/dgga /status xp
/dgga /status aaxp

etc

no, there's currently not a mq2status buff check

but you can /dgga /dgtell all $\{Me.Buff[xyz]}

Ooo..didnt realize there was a plugin..thanks..i'll dig around a bit

the status command doesnt do anything....im assuming because i dont have the mq2status plugin....i clikced watched.....

dur nm....its there i just forgot to use the keyword load.

I tried the "but you can /dgga /dgtell all $\{Me.Buff[xyz]}" Worked like a champ and i know this isnt specifically related to MQ2Status, but is there a wiki or documentation that shows all the other "structs" available for output?

None of my /status commands appear to be working after last patch. I have unload and reloaded with no change. Just thought I would fling it our there hope this is the correct thread to use.

Hmm mine appear to be working, I tested "just plain" /status, then /bcaa //status, then /bcaa //status xp. All gave the expected output in the MQ chat window. Do you get any output at all from /status?

/status I get nothing. /status help l get the list. /status xp returns nothing. really weird as if I /status fellowship I get my list. must be something at my end.

Bizarre. This is really a reach, but you don't happen to have the map open, in a crowded zone, with labels showing, while you are are testing /status?

nope no map open really weird. I got some hot keys to check my guys before i start PS currency tribute etc... no biggy just takes me a little longer to flip through them individually and check.
