Plugin - MQ2Rogue (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

What setting do I have off? Hunting in FM, Bfak camp. set as assist. Camp radius 100 chase distance of 10. Puller (SK running MqEskay) will bring mob to camp and char will go to spot but combat says my target is too far away.. I bump him forward a touch and he takes off
Check your stickhow

Chase distance is "how far away from my tank do I need to chase to my ma if I get farther away". Has nothing to do with combat
 
And use stick loaded?

Cause you should now stick to them at 10 distance.
 
Yes, use stick is loaded, is my camp being on a hillside the problem? I don't have anyplace to compare to, this is my first camp with the plugin.

Probably worth moving, I do t see any reason that'd be a problem tho.

I wouldn't really call bifak camp "on a hill"

Campradius of 100 is fairly unusual
Chase distance does nothing for assist mode.

I'm assuming you're in assist mode with meshes loaded
 
I just came back from a year and a half break. Did Rogues get some loving? I use mq2 rog and zerker and before i left berskerer was out dpsing rogue but since i came back rogue is almost double the zerker. i just let the plugins do all the work so i have no idea what has changed. Zerker is still killing it so im assuming rogues just got some lovin.

Yes. They changedand consolidated body types so rogues have more mobs they can backstab.

Zerkers got a correction when a bug fix happened that would make one of their big abilities fire twice as often as it should
 
There seems to be an issue with my rogue. I was running around with my rogue in chase mode for several hours. No problems with him following or asssisting. As soon as my tank goes into huntertank mode, the rogue stops following and assisting. He is in chase mode when I start the huntertank mode on my shadowknight. From then on out, no matter what I do, he will not move. I have to restart his EQ instance to once again be able to have him react.

sounds like you have a hotkey issue changing your rogue to not-chase mode

we don't care what mode someone else is in.

No, it is not a hotkey issue. When I go back to the rogue he is still in chase mode, but standing around and not moving.

I use the same hotkey and the other 4 characters follow around just fine (CLR, ENC, BST, and BER). All of them transition from chasing me around whether in manual or hunter mode just fine. But the rogue stands around twiddling his thumbs.

I'm just telling you there isn't anything that you changing your sk would then make the rogue stand around and not do something.

/cwtn mode 2
/shd mode 8

All the other characters ( all using CWTN plugins) behave as expected. The rogue does not follow anymore. There are no other changes, no other hotkeys touched and the rogue still shows chase mode.

My shadow knight is in manual mode and all my toons running CWTN plugins are in chase mode. We run around and shred stuff with no issues. I hit that hotkey and the SHD, ENC, CLR, BST, and BER all continue to shred. The Rogue does not. It is repeatable and happens every time. I try to go back to manual mode on SK and continue roaming and the rogue will not move. I set up camp at the rogue and he will not move after the SK goes into huntertank mode no matter what I do. The only way I can get him to continue his awesomeness is to log out to desktop and log him back on.

I respect all you guys do tremendously. Just reporting my experience.

And what mode does the rogue show on the rogues screen?
 
Hi not sure if this is where we report bugs, but rogue is using Shadowstrike ability instead of new Mayhem, Max aa'd rogue, only rk 1 Mayhem atm, so not sure if that is the issue, has i have rk2 shadowstrike.. but rk1 Mayhem is better and i have the correct synergy aa to use Mayhem

-edit- seems that is the only disc pre LS that it is using, everything is the new version

I'm looking to get my rog to use the new convalesce instead of the 101 breathers is there a command or something i can change or because of it being the CTWN plugin is that a no fly zone ?
We don't use those.

The breather line, which is the line of timer 13 we use for endurance regen does not have all the drawbacks that come with the Hiatus line of things.

This is the Hiatus line of endurance regen. You are slowed by 10,000% for 48 seconds, adding endurance, and it caps at 30%
There is also a 6 minute reuse time in which you cannot use it again.

The breather line

This one caps at 21% (for rank 1) and does not slow you by 10,000% for the 42 second duration of the buff. The reuse time is 1 minute and 30 seconds. Making it available more often.

So to recap, lower cap, faster reuse, I can still do some dmg while it's going.

We intentionally are ignoring the newer line in favor of the older line to promote higher DPS.

The plugins are designed to choose things like this for you, so that you don't have to micromanage them. If you'd like to micro manage the character you would in fact need to use an alternate resource to play the character so that you can customize it to the way you want.

Without evidence that the new line is superior I'm unwilling to make a change to use the newer line.

ahh okay just wasn't sure if I could get into the ini's or something to change to to use the hiatus line instead thanks for your help

Reasons are that it always keeps hide on cool down, not available immediately if you need to use stealthy getaway, or you go to pull you can't sos right away.
Also it makes you look like a bot always invising, () on and off around your name in combat consistently. I understand these are mostly concerns for someone who mains a rogue.

Rog evade not a thing anymore? That's the reason for /hide triggering during combat to lower your threat level.

It's still a thing of course. It's just a behavior that would be nice to be able to turn off when needed. Evading successfully doesn't lower agro that much now a days anyway especially which how much agro tools we have available.

Playing on a TLP server with max level of 85/underfoot right now. Toon is in a 6toons setup or 3toons/3mercs setup most of the time.

I have 2 questions about the mq2rogue plugin. Is it possible to use Evade when the toon is the last one standing or say, when the healers are dead? If it is already possible, can you tell me how to use it, I haven't been able to do it.

On the corpse drag. When there are several corpses to pull, the rogue will fetch each one of them, one by one using the /corpse command. Could it drag 2 with the /corpsedrag and 1 with /corpse if able and then /corpsedrop when back at the camp? The command used doesn't really matter, the questions was more if it was able to pull more than 1 corpse at the time.

not automatically - you can /rog dumpaggro if you wanted to tho

no, we aren't going to corpsedrag - this is on purpose to avoid conflicts with other random people / automation also trying to /corpse --- no, not more than 1 at a time, if it did, it would already

Yep, I understood the original request, I was just asking if it was possible to make it an option to have it turned off if you are in a tank mode instead of what most people run mq2rogue at (assist or chase). Not a big deal, just more curious than anything. Thanks for answering!
