i listed several things

missing target window ? ---> if you target something do you have a target window? if not, open your eq options window with an alt-o and go to keys - then UI, the find "target window toggle" default is alt-t - press it.

repeat for other potentially missing windows.

for your xtarget right click on your xtarget window
you want auto add hater targets
you want each slot to "auto"

if you have something manually turning those off after you are in game, definitely don't want to do that

You are trying to load a plugin that does not match. Like a test plugin on live, or one out of date,

You can delete mq2rogue from that directory, or renew your license if it expired and redownload it (use the launcher, always use the launcher to avoid putting the wrong file in the wrong place)
 
This plugin is probably the best one you folks have come up with, seriously, it is crazy good. However, I need some help, with mq2melee unloaded how do I get the rogue to stay in the exact spot where I activate the macro and never move, not even an inch?
I have tried stickmode=2 and several others, the rouge will stay for a while but he always eventually moves off the spot and I wipe...

Any suggestions?

if you don't want the plugin to move, use manual mode and turn off usestick with a very small campradius.

other than that, we're going to move to the mob to do stuff.

we *always* are going to return to our camp and sit back down if you're using tank/assist mode.

mq2melee would not solve any of what you described even if it wasn't unloaded.

stickmode=2 this isn't even a thing. there is a stickhow, which uses the stick how value that you have set in that slot, with usestick turned on. there is mode 2 which is chasemode, which chases your group ma.

there is no such thing is a stickmode=2

if you want to always return to camp. set your camp with mode 1 - you will always return there after combat has cleared and sit back down --- not just inside the camp, but to the campspot you set specifically.

the only possible "eventually moving off the spot" is if you were to die, then respawn outside of the zone THEN get a rez - the new spot you zoned into at would have a new camp set (because you LEFT the zone - not from dying), you would place your new camp at the place you were rezzed
 
Had a scenario today, and was wondering if there were any commands to help. Didn't see anything in FAQ.

Joined a guild group today that was using a mage pet. There was no MT or Main Assist assigned at the group level.

Is there away to manually assign who to assist, similar to KissAssist?

What mode should I chose if there is a pet tank?

Need someone assigned as main assist, who is picking targets, for you to assist.
 
How can you set this to assist someone outside of group. I read though multiple pages and don't see a setting for this. That is possible with cleric but don't see it for rogue. Thanks
 
Feature Request: (if this is the right place for it)

A toggle for Timer 10 Discs, Pinpoint XXX line. The recast is not long - two minutes at level 75, buff lasts 30 seconds - but the plugin will use it on cooldown with no way to turn it off. It is probably not a issue for live, but on TLP it would be nice to be able to toggle it off so it is not wasted prior to using a disc like Frenzied Stabbing.

Otherwise love the plugin!

will take a look - might end up being something like ExeIsBurn, where executioner is only treated as a burn - 2 minute reuse isn't really something that should be a super concern, but as you said, tlp with fewer things and options.

yup: gonna make a toggle that you can set it to only use during burn

Anyone had an issue where their lowbie rogue (mine is 81) is trying to use Waylay over and over during combat?

This isn't allowing him to backstab as he prioritizes Waylay for some reason.

He's on assist, in a camp, I've fiddled around with the settings but can't find what I'm doing wrong.

Did you check if there was an error or reason for this failing? Likely an eq red error msg.

Also make sure you are up to date

those (waylay and ambush) require you to be out of combat, and we specifically handle those directly for that reason.

are you sure you don't have your player window hidden or broken that would prevent from knowing you were and saying you were not.

that isn't a window that we force to be open (outside of shaman and unreleased druid), but if you have it never displayed, i guess that could cause you an issue

Yeah, I even swapped back to default UI. I'm gonna watch him for a bit, I think he's only doing this when more than 1 enemy is in camp

well, specifically here we're checking that you're a combat state "combat" and if your combat state animation is going - which would lead me to also suggest ensuring that you aren't starving your background toons from performance - like have framelimiter setup and functioning and no external frame limiting to "min cpu" to background frames like isboxer or anything such

but i can check it out a little more tomorrow/monday - it is just these two abilities that have that weird requirement, so despite us knowing and checking, it is possible it needs some sprucing up

Good tip on the frame limiting, I'll look into it. I've run these plugins before and took a long break and started a fresh group, lost all my settings (fresh install). These plugins have been a lifesaver and make the game so enjoyable. Great work!

Just an FYI, I bought Ambush the lvl 81 version of it and he never uses it anymore. Seems to just be around Waylay or maybe the Rk 2 version of it.

FYI this seems back with the level 92 skill "Distraction"

EDIT: Added this to my blocked buffs and it stopped trying to use it

After memorizing NoS Theif's Sight, rogues are not firing anything from this line anymore. CTWN mq2rogue plugin is what's being used.

k, thanks, will check it out - this line was weird due to overwrites which i believed they actually fixed, so might be that, so we can remove some of the work around we had for that
 
Does the new dissident fire off ? I watched the plug-in for a few and did not see it activate. I was not using burn always or burn named.

(I can’t think of the name, I’m at work)

Did the "out of combat" issue that @azcardfan7 ran into get figured out? Appears it might be an issue with the Rank 2 (and probably 3) of the abilities since I have heard a few people having issues with Jugular Slash as well. Working normally at Rank 1, Rank 2 starts doing the same thing of trying to use it while in combat over and over.

Not yet, any fixes get put in update notes.

I plan on looking in the next few days, shouldn't be anything different with the ranks, but eq :p

I see the issue and will have it fixed in the next day or so

got a build cookin now - should have a fix for this, thanks for being patient <3
