normally i'd suggest running overseer for xp - but make sure you're running it for tetra coins so you can save up your pennies and get the rez stick

First of all, thank you for your work and your commitment. I've been playing around with it for a few days now and it's working perfectly... The only thing I've noticed is that the AA Hallowed Lodestar (AE Stun/Agro) isn't being used...is there a specific reason or could it still be included should the AA Beacon of the Righteous be on cool down?

do you have "use hallowed" turned on?

I go over this in the paladin vid, it is off by default

/pal UseHallowed true/false/on/off/0/1 - Use Hallowed AA.

My bad. I saw both on timer 11, didn't read the descriptions close enough, and thought it was just an upgrade with an odd name.

ah, thanks for pointing that out.

couple folks msg'd - instead of posting here and using words - but I incorrectly read it as "spire of chivalry" and since I know we're using spire of chivalry just fine I assumed (again incorrectly) it was the eq bug with autogranting without relogging which sometimes gives an error

it actually *doesn't* try and cast "spire of the chivalry" but there's a check in there for using another thing that looks for spire and it was spelled incorrectly

That is a great addition! Adding the hot swappin' for the Stance and Preservation is really helpful. Can't wait to test it out.

Would be nice to have a hot swap option to use 2 abilities
1. Aurora of Dawning
2. Culpability

Both are on the "quick cast" and the Aurora is great as a 2nd or 3rd group heal in encounters which need it. And Culpability adds another heavy self heal to the rotation while tanking.
I love the program - and just wanna help make it the best it can be.

howdy ghost, thanks for the message

byos/byos custom is your best bet here - we're intentionally not having a bunch of toggles or spell loadouts

for every single 1 toggle that changes a spell, it is a multiplicatively challenging problem and potential problem managing spells - there are options for easy things that make sense, but for custom stuff, you'd want byos/byos-custom. check the faq/vid if you haven't.

we don't always get things right, and the whole point of pre-release is to figure those things out before it goes for paid, but take aurora for example.

it is *supposed* to require you to be in a group to use it (i say supposed to because it fires off not in a group at least the past 2 live patches) - so if someone was trying to solo and we stole an entire gem slot for that spell - it would be a huge waste. (and obv group spells when doing that). there are just tons of considerations that go into things.

byos/byos-custom is going to always be the answer unless something makes a ton of sense - like memsplash or the other two toggles i added recently.

if it doesn't say what your pull ability is when you load the plugin - then it will try and use ranged items, and otherwise use melee, same as the other plugins
 
@Hambam you don't get honorjolt line till 72, in eskay we use some other abilities before then - (not that i saying this is what i would change) but what line would you suggest to use for pulling sub 60? is bow/arrow insufficient?

for eskay we do:

Power jolt 72+, but we will use Terror line from 33 - 72, and lower lvl lifetaps before that (should be no summon mobs at lvl < 33)

I have been happily using MQ Paladin and have been enjoying the Free ride, whee, I look forward to getting it once it goes paid and it will complete my 6 man CWTN plugins for main team. Been working pretty well and nice DPS and healing happening. Thanks for the continual improvements for the existing classes and continuing to add the rest.

maybe add some type of detection so it'll only use deflection if a shield is equipped.

also, a menu selection for all of the classes that lets you select what glyph to use.
 
I was sort of hoping I wouldn't like this plugin. Like the others, it's bitten me in the ass and now I will need to purchase a license on the 19th. Well done to creators, testers and all that have provided input.
 
I'm sure Chat and Sic and their testers have thought this through better than I can ask it, I do wish there was a tank live/tank undead/heal role. Or something to that effect.
On another note, I like to have my team in chase mode while I'm driving the tank and have the tank grab aggro. Is there a mode that does that? I cannot seem to make that happen exactly, I use sic mode then hit manual to reset and hit sic mode again. Currently I manually attack the mobs, not a really big problem, but I do prefer the auto aggro and attack to happen.

sic mode wants you to be in a defined camp before it will auto engage things on extended target
i use this command on a hotkey anytime i pull multiples and just want the plugin to handle everything

So, we use a paladin to splash in Shei raid. Now if we use MQ2Paladin and use cure splash will it auto splash when someone out of group needs cure? or do i need to add them to EXT for it to "Scan" Also what does Raid mode activate. I've tried using it on MQ2Cleric etc and didn't notice a difference?

yes, if you are using it for cure, you need them on xtarget and xtargethealing turned on, otherwise they have no idea that that person needs a cure. (and as usual, they need to be local characters on cwtnbuffs for us to know they need a cure)
 
I've used MQPaladin since the VV release and I really enjoy it. I was pretty happy before this release using KA but this makes life so much easier. Thanks CWTN and Sic and will 100% buy it in a few days.

I have one question about the burn routine. Does it use Group Armor of the Inquisitor on burn? I've always used it in burn routines for the group heal benefit but not sure if there are reasons not to do so?

yep, it does, we don't just willy nilly smash stuff tho, so it is used when it would best work with other buffs/aas/
 
Great plugin, just a tip if you have Act of Valor checked and you are the main assist and you drop below 30% you will suicide yourself by trying to save yourself.

having a bit of a issue i have paid for the new liscene of both this and necro but when i try to download i am getting a error saying hey stud your not lvl two . i am most def level two so not sure whts going on

use the launcher, always use the launcher.

no actual patch has been done that *requires* a purchase. The existing plugin will continue to work until eq is rebuilt on 10/26. if/when rg/mq/mq2paladin updates between now and the 26, to get the update you would need to have a license.

but there is no need to do that now - and using the launcher would still include the current file (until rg is rebuilt)

I know.. just happy and want to show support to you guys. Though no more Paypal for me, I wish you guys could take Military Star, I have a lot of open credit there and seems we have a lot of Active Military or Veterans here. Anyways thanks chat and sic
