pop a merc (or get a box) so you can assign yourself group main tank / group main assist

mob needs to be within your campradius - and if you don't have an ma, you'll get better results turning on usemelee

I cant for the life of me figure out how to get my necro to stop standing when im trying to get in the spellbook he just stands up! please help
 
You didn't state what automation you are using but pause it maybe? Might be something in the mq box telling you why the toon is standing?

either pause mq2necro, or be byos if you don't want us to try and get you out of your spellbook
 
I'd like to make a request for the MQ2Necro in regards to swarm pets. They do a ton of DPS and I absolutely love them - but every time my bard, or chanter, or even the necro himself mez's a target the pets drop off and don't seem to attack again.
Can we make a regular combat check for having swarm pets attack please?

everytime we engage a mob and/or send in pets we resend them. (and we actually delay and send swarm pets twice because the command might be before eq registers they can be attacked by the swarms - but yep we already handle this.

Yeah I figured that part - because the pets are usually on the mob, I was just wondering if there could be a "mez broke" event that makes the pets resend again within the plugin (same goes for Enchanter too with his big AA pet, when the mob gets mezzed by Chaotic we get enc twincast chance but all swarm pets just stop for the fight...and with normal fights being about 15-20 seconds long, the routine almost never comes up again to send in the pets).
If not thats cool, I can always try and go oldschool and do a custom MQ2event lol.
 
Is there a way we could get a Summon Corpse feature on the necro, to check if any groupmates are dead but out of range and just summon them back to group so cleric can rez (or so necro can rez or w/e)?

no, thats also in the FAQ (also notes you can have a lem or react/event script do it solo).

Ok no worries - and thank you. Also CWTN and Durango773 both mentioned FAQ items that I couldn't find in any FAQ area.... Can you point me to whatever the hell I'm obviously missing please? I thought all FAQ sections were the tabs at the top near where it says Discussion.

Each resource has it's own FAQ. The FAQ is found at the top of each resource if it has an FAQ. Usually when answering questions I look at my own FAQ to see if it's listed then just copy paste if it is. We try to put all common questions in the FAQ. Screenshot_20240306-173641.png

Trying to figure out what I don't have set up correctly or that I'm doing wrong. I compared my settings with someone else who uses this plugin also his number 2nd spell gem slot is Pyre of Va Xakra (every other spell matches) and no matter what I do other than setting BYOS it wont load that spell. It instead loads Pyre of Klraggek. I have both spells as RK.III Anyone by chance have any input to help me figure out where I done screwed up? Also focus AA for Pyre of Jorobb is maxed out.

Q. I seem to be using a different PyreShort than is available to me?
A. We try and match the PyreShort focus from your Robe. We keep track of the 2 best pyre's you have available, and use whichever one of those matches your robe focus.

Is there a possibility of you guys making an addition/making a change to the RaidSwapDots so we can use it without tying it to Raidmode on? I really like the function, but I like controlling my own targets and not relying on random raid assist.

pretty unlikely , eq allows 3 raid assists and the plugins allow you to set which one you're following - you can't have one of them for you?

have the raid leader make whatever toon you want to follow the raid assist - you're in raidmode, it is going to try and assist, same not in raidmode, you're going to be trying to assist your group raid assist
 
Allright, thanks. I'll stick to BYOS then to load as many dots as possible; I want to make sure I'm as anonymous as possible, so asking for a raidassist probably isn't something I'm gonna do :)
 
so i am using this for 5 necros.... level 100 each with 1 level 116 necro and i cant seem to get the stupid necros to summon a pet in or out of combat. im not using byos and i also have combat summon pet on and i have 1000 bone chips.

deleting posts is almost always the wrong answer, because people have already spent their time looking, thinking, responding

but yep, if you have usecharm on, you won't summon a pet.
 
Wrong forum
When trying to use a clicky assigned to pull, necro always runs on top of the mob to cast rather than from range, is there a fix for this or is that normal.
 
Each resource on RG has an Overview / Discussion Thread and either a link to their wiki or tabs with FAQ, Commands, Etc.

that depends on eq.

we nav to the mob, if we find LoS on the way, we stop and cast.

I find I do more DPS NOT clicking the burn button for the past two weeks. Finally started to look into it today. I also find I don't click my omm, current era bp, or spire with much consistency. These abilities both fail and necro doesn't attack 20-30s or more.

EDIT: On second check, this isn't specific to MQ2Necro. My Enchanter does the same thing with Focus of Arcanum. In groups they do nothing for the duration of a mob and in raids this turns into them attacking super late. I didn't noticed this was teh case so I'd reclick my burn now button and they'd cycle through these and stop casting yet again.
