Doomwalker's Percision Strike

this plugin hits the other percisions but it doesnt hit doomwalkers for me. I was curious if you could correct this. I do not have a Rk. 2 or 3 version yet.

The previous versions are
Firewalker's Percision Strike and Icewalker's Percision Strike.

All of these strikes are able to be hit concurrently

yep we know how they work and that they can be hit concurrently, we already do this with the most current 3 as you mentioned

the amount of them we use didn't get updated with NoS, so i'll update that to all 4, thx for pointing it out, I'll have this updated

I'm still really surprised eq hasn't changed this, I have a note in the future to make sure i check the amount we use and adjust accordingly, but i expect them to change this eventually heh
 
not sure if the redman auto-post update notes is working again or not

but in the previous "use all 4 precision strikes as intended" was a straight lie, and that is (hopefully) fixed when the next build happens here in a few minutes

I see the updates, so I just wanted to bring it to your attention.

Using the 2023-01-19 Live compile (MQ2Monk 0.10) and it appears to still be neglecting Doomwalker's Precision Strike Rk II. I am 120 with NoS abilities, and I do see all 4 Precision skills loaded on plugin initialization. /mnk missing reports all plugin abilities are required acquired, so I don't believe there is anything missing causing an issue.

lol thanks for the followup, I almost always test things to confirm, but i didn't this time cause my monk didn't have the xpac yet

when i fixed that "look at 4 instead of 3" i also changed somewhere else when i did mean to look at 3

since last patch my monk will randomly just stand there instead of casting Distant Strike to pull, its happened in 3 different zones now..... the plugin will be like a_shock_striker is my target... he will run there... get in position where you expect a distant strike but then he just stands there and does nothing... any way i can fix this or has something changed since patch... i have to do a full reboot to get him going again just unloading and loading the plugin doesnt fix it

i can Disablepullability and he will pull fine with throwing but he just standing around waiting for Distant Strike to click itself when thats not checked

nothing has changed there. there is sometimes issues with that ability and line of sight - I would recommend ensuring you're not levitating, shrunk, and not using mq2autosize which might cause you conflicts - but no, nothing has changed, it might be something like you got to a spot you had los and stopped, but upon stopping now no longer has los and can't use the ability, which is why my suggestion about shrunk or autosize or especially levitation is important.

eq/mq interaction with LoS isn't always the same as "player experience" meaning being able to press a button - sometimes you will get that you don't have los when you actually can use an ability - but if mq tells us we don't have los then we dont
 
i was using none of that, then i tried all of that in different combinations after you said that would cause it , its just not really reliable to pull in SoF zones since the last patch, ive just been putting bard on pulls or run the monk on kiss if i need him to pull

luckily if im sitting there i can just reach up and push the 2 button (distant strike) and it works fine

have you tried debugduringpull ? > added back last year <

Is it possible to have my monk (and zerker but figure the solution will be the same) to melee right where they are? I want my whole team to stay put buried in a corner and not have melee circle behind and pull adds. Would it be to add a different stick option to the MQ2Monk_CharName.ini and replace one of the duplicate "snaproll behind 10 moveback uw" entries?

Turn off usestick if you don't want to stick. That would be the best way not to stick.

is there a way to pull only a certain type of mob with a something in their name or a way to do this - help with Megadeath achievement
 
Not sure if this is known. For a little while now, maybe a few weeks. I've noticed that when i dont have BurnallNamed and BurnAlways clicked that my burn disc's are still being used.

what discs, specifically? "burn discs" can mean different things to different people.

Please post in the correct area. We talked about that in pm about mq2monk before.

It appears you are asking about mq2monk. Mq2monk posts should be on the mq2monk thread as you know. I'm going to move this there.

Mq2monk burns are used during burns, as intended.

Make sure you adjust your settings including your burncount, which is how many mobs you want to start burning at

No changes have been make to how what, or when burns are used in a while. I suspect it is that setting.

would also make sure you're not trying to use any conflicting automation.

we now unload afnuke, mq2melee, mq2combat and as of may 23rd, things like easy.Lua which slapped willy nilly burn and rezzing and all sorts of other stuff

Yep turn it off imo.

I go over this in one of the monk videos. fos just doesn't proc very frequently, AND still procs with 2h anyhow

Hi, ive been noticing that when my monk is at camp and has a target set to pull, as the monk runs out to pull; should this mob start to roam away (still within pulling range) the monk will some how stop since his pulling AA's are not met (Due to distannt) and stand there and wait.

Question: can the Monk reset pulling at this point? thanks

I would double check that is actually what is happening.

We've talked about pulling stuff before, and how outside of the specific abilities, the pulling routines are universal.

Are you checking the debug while pulling output to see what is happening?

We get within 90% range and then try and use an instant cast aa.

Would need to know where this is happening to try and replicate because this scenario sounds fishy.
 
So Rizlona just open up Underfoot. I had a question if anybody did some parsing on Vigorous Shuriken? I the main reason I ask is because before i memmed that tome he had enough Endurance to do his abilities and have some ready for Disc burns. Post Vigorous Shuriken the tank is on empty and he doesnt have enough end to do any kinds of discs.

- We will now only use Shuriken during our combat routine if we're above 20% endurance
-- Shuriken is pretty low damage, but since we want to squeeze out anything we can, we're going to use it
-- in certain eras it can cause over usage of endurance due to poor endurance regen and endurance pool during that time.
-- if we're below lvl 100, we're only going to use Shuriken if we have 20% or more endurance.

you have to wait for RG to update that it was rebuilt (which it just now was).
