MQ2Monk

Plugin - MQ2Monk 3.1.52471.11

best way to fix that, in the short term, is to stop dying

*giggles and runs away* *muhahahahahaha*

1.0 does not get used automagically

offensive would check it any time you're fighting and if you didn't have the buff from it - it would toss it up
burn would check any time you're in your burn condition and if you didn't have the buff from it - it would toss it up

there's no recast on it right? i'd use offensive
I’ll give a shot here this evening. Thanks Sic!

Question about the Burn line. I have been using the /mnk burnnow command on a level 60 Monk. The first thing it fires is Hundred Fists Disc from the number 3 timer GTG. The next disc it fires is Ashenhand Disc from the number 4 which increases the power of your eagle strikes but never uses that ability.

Merry Christmas........=)

burnnow doesn't currently work like you think it does - for classes that have "tier'd" burns like monk, its only going to fire the tier, and its not going to continue.

I would just utilize the burnallnamed toggle or burnalways toggle to turn on when you want to burn on and off.

we will likely do a revamp of the burnnow functionality (some classes like shm/clr don't even have a burn now) - but in the mean time that's how its designed

Merry Christmas to you as well Raidien1

Sic i do understand the fact you have to hit the hotkey once it fires off Hundred Fists Disc from the number 3 timer. I hit the hotkey again and it fires off Ashenhand Disc from the number 4 timer. My issues is the Disc is selects to fire increases the Power of Eagle Strike but the plugin never uses Eagle Strike. Thunderkick Disc from the same tier would be a better selection or it uses Eagle Strike during that disc.

Well if you're a human and turn off usetigerclaw you will dragon punch.
Looks like iksar's got screwed on that one. I wonder if they intentionally left off tail rake

They didn't actually, they just didn't update the description - tail rake and dragon punch are the same "actual" skill as far as eq is concerned - like literally both "skill 21" and this dragon punch modifier effects tail rake because they're the "same thing underneath"

you can see > lucy < the spell base2_1 is "21" which is for skill 21 --- which is "tail rake / dragon punch"

if you want want to use dragonpunch/tailrake instead of tigerclaw - uncheck usetigerclaw

this toggle was specifically added for the tlp folks who want to utilize dragonpunch/tailrake instead

yup, when things get updated you'll see them in the update notes - if they're not in the update notes it hasn't been updated yet =p

Will see if i can test this a bit and push for maybe:tm: next build
Cool thanks man! Happy Christmas

I was using my monk in PullerAssist mode and I want her to pull using her Velium Thrown Spear. I have 1 of the spears in my ranged slot and 1 in the ammo slot and the stacks of them in my bags. When I toggle DisablePullAbility, I believe it should stop trying to pull with Throw Stone and start using what I have in my range slot. Is this correct? Currently, it appears to revert to pulling with melee when I have DisablePullAbility toggled on.

howdy @The_Klaw

confirmed - it appears that those velium throwing spears don't return back Throwingv1 or Throwingv2 like other throwing stuff--- they return that they are "ammo".

but I have it fixed.

btw - throwing spears is hilarious.

in the mean time try using a throwing dagger or shuriken or something that isn't this unique-and-beatiful-snowflakespear

LMAO! Will do. I can't help myself. The animation and the range on the spears are awesome. :)

Does anyone know how to properly setup so you can have multiple hunter/tanks in a group/raid and they won't go assisting each other outside of the radius you set?

I'm trying to do slayers and I have my rog and monk on separate sides of the zone in their killing spots. Currently I have:

- both in a raid but not in same group
- both set to hunter/tank
- autoassistat set to 1%
- raid mode on

For the most part it is working fine but occasionally they still randomly assist the other and run to the other side of the zone.

well

if you're using raid mode they're going to be trying to assist off of the raid assist that you assigned in your eq raid window and then matched with in your raid options in the plugin settings.

I would suggest not being in raid mode (you can still be in a raid) and let them use their group assist instead.

keep in mind - that several of the plugins are still going to be unhappy about having mobs on xtarget tossing burns and such.

never tried having two seperate as huntertanks, but i suspect that you're going to have issues

ok cool i took off raid mode on them. Is that type of functionality something that is possible to add?

some of these slayers are super tedious to do and the zones have good groups of mobs but are split up so it's not ideal to have 1 guy running all over the zone, especially if you're worried about people reporting you.

not really - this is pretty far outside the scope.

you could always use manual mode and use something like pocketfarm to farm an area and ignore the rest of the functionality that would exist being in a tank mode

you could also assign more than one raid assist and assign them to raidassistnum 1, raidassistnum 2, etc.

people have argued both ways, and last time someone asked about it, I asked for some documentation as to why its better and got crickets on it.

The main reason is innerflame does more damage on average than hundred fists on raid targets that have mitigation of the mighty. Under normal circumstances, anything without Motm hundred will do more damage. Personally I prefer broadcasting manually when to disc vs letting the plugin do it though.

is there a way to get MQ2monk to swap weps for procs besides the FoF? For example: Avatar proc from primal weps?
not built in, but you could use mq2react setup to do tha

one of the suggestions someone posted on discord (squiggle dan)

[CODE lang="yaml"] AvatarPrimal:
action: '/bandolier activate avatar'
condition: "!${Me.Inventory[MainHand].Name.Find[Primal]} && !${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Me.CombatState.Equal[COMBAT]}"
AvatarDPS:
action: '/bandolier activate dps'
condition: "${Me.Inventory[MainHand].Name.Find[Primal]} && ${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Me.CombatState.Equal[COMBAT]}"[/CODE]

or devian12

YAML:
AvatarPrimal:
    action: '/bandolier activate ava'
    condition: "!${Me.Inventory[MainHand].Name.Find[Primal]} && !${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Me.CombatState.Equal[COMBAT]}"
  NatureDPS:
    action: '/bandolier activate dps'
    condition: "${Me.Inventory[MainHand].Name.Find[Primal]} && ${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Me.CombatState.Equal[COMBAT]} && ${Bool[${Target.Buff[Mitigation of the Mighty]}]}"
  FiztDPS:
    action: '/bandolier activate fzt'
    condition: "${Me.Inventory[MainHand].Name.Find[Primal]} && ${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Me.CombatState.Equal[COMBAT]}"

How does a max AAed monk compare to a max AAed zerker in DPS while running these plugins (assuming similar gear)? Currently have a monk and zerker on seperate accounts and the zerker is using mq2berzerker while my monk is just using kissassist with likely an underperforming ini config. Currently my zerker consistently more than double the dps of the monk and looking to improve my groups total dps. Trying to decide if I should buy this monk plugin to help maximize my monks dps or roll a second zerker instead.

you should testcopy and try mq2monk on test to see if you like it.

I personally suggest a second zerker because they're very straight forward faceroll dps - but monk can do well too - they also pull like a boss

MQ2monk keeps crashing in combat and crashes the eq client. I am no longer able to play my monk with this paid plugin. I have had to go to KA11. In addition none of my other CWTN plugins are having issues. I have restarted my PC, updated everything, and the issue persists. I have sent along the dmp log files to eqmule as requested in the crash notification. If any other devs need it let me know I can send it off.

Any cwtn specific dmps u will want to send to me and chat

we don't know of any cwtn specific crashes at the moment - plz pm me the dmp as well as your mq2monk_dudebro.ini from your release folder

PM sent with attachments.

All of the dmps you sent me are kernelbase crashes - not mq2monk crashes - you said in your post that it was upon engaging the mob, but in your pm you said you can't get past server select?

Just about nothing in the stack-frame as you can see here.

this could mean all sorts of reasons it crashed

yeah none of those 10 dmps are mq2monk related.

they're all kernelbase so they could be just about anything mq2 or eq related.

I would do all the regular stuff:

ensure you have the latest video drivers
ensure your windows is updated
ensure that your eq UI is updated
I would do a eq file validation check
I would possibly rename your eqclient.ini file and your ui_dudesauce.ini files and try and let eq recreate them and see if your crash stops

Sorry i didnt update here. After talking to Sic I searched anything in my eq folder with that toons name and deleted it. I had to redo my UI but with copylayout and load skin commands it was quick. I have not had any further issues. thanks for the assist.

How does one add monk epic to offense ?
assuming you're asking about 1.0?

you hold the item on your cursor and /monk addclicky offensive

from the FAQ
Q. Epic 1.0/1.5/2.0?
A. We automatically use your 1.5/2.0 - If you want to add your 1.0 hold it and /mnk addclicky offensive or /mnk addclicky burn depending on when you want to use your 1.0

Hey all sorry bit of a noob here but when using the following commands
/ignore ${Target}
/ignore add ${Target}
or /Target add a mercenary's corpse

It says Ignore list was not modified??

Just doing missions in Feerrott and my monk will just stand there with a mercenary's corpse on target and will not change, even if i hit escape or click on another mob it will switch straight back to it. Any help on this only using MQ2Zerk, Shm and Monk

kissassist ignore information
/addignore ${Target.CleanName}

or are you not asking about kissassist since you mentioned mq2berzerker/shm/monk?

Yeah just using the MQ2Zerk/Monk/Shm
I moved your post to the mq2monk thread, since you were posting in a kissassist thread.

the commands are all in the commands tab > HERE <

/monk Ignore - adds your target to the pullignores.ini file in your release folder - will skip this mob in the pull routine.
/monk Unignore - removes your target or typed name from your pullignores.ini file in your release folder.
/monk ShowIgnore - Outputs a list of NPC's being ignored. May show the previous zone if you haven't gone into puller mode in your current zone.

Adding stuff to ignore is purely for pulling purposes. "/ignore soandso" is the eq command to ignore another player from being able to speak to you.

are you sure you're not running a macro on top of anything? We do target validation and i haven't seen or heard of an issue where some reason you're stuck trying to fight a mercenary's corpse.

what zone and what mob specifically does this happen in?
what mode is your monk in?
what does your xtarget look like when this happens?
what does your mq2monk window look like when this happens? (specifically and importantly when you clear your target and you say it re-targets)

EDIT: Oh you mean "Mercenary's Corpse" as in the MOB called that not, an actual mercenary's corpse.

yes just /monk ignore while targetting
1612111253455.png
and on my ignores tab you can see the ignore'd mobs.
