aye using tiger claw - is there an advantage at lower lvl/tlp for dragon punch?

Gonna echo this for TLP's from Classic to at least Depths of Darkhollow dragon punch does more damage. Is there any way we can get a toggle for this?

Just for reference I copied my 60 epic monk from Riz to test to verify and beat on the classic dummy for 1 hour each with mq2melee using dragon punch and then mq2monk using tiger claw. Tiger claw did significantly less even with landing about 50 more hits. Unfortunately i dont think there's a way to show min and max hit with gamparse as that would probably be more useful, but average damage will have to do. Uploaded a couple screenies with the parse results using gamparse. I can DM you the parse html too if needed. Right now its not that big of a deal since most Classic-Kunark fights last like 2 minutes tops, but getting towards Velious and beyond it will start to make a bigger difference with longer fights.

you had your monk names in your screenies so i removed them

thanks for infos

i added the option to usetigerclaw or not for next update last night - so will be live next time VV builds

With GamParse, go to the Player DPS tab and it will give a damage breakdown, including average, max, and min hits.

From 10-21 patch:
"- Corrected issue with certain poisons for Addclicky Spam."

/monk addclicky downtime Spider's Bite XIX is working for me now.

Thanks guys!

woot you're welcome! that also fixed some other items that cast a different spell than it says it casts lol --- eq is *special*

I'm having an issue my monk who is using MQ2Monk is backing away to 35 on assist call unless she is closer than 10 feet to the mob at the time of the assist call. I can't find anything that is making her back off.

there's nothing in our assist code that should do anything like that.

did you edit your stick how to something silly? default is "snaproll behind 10 moveback uw"

No I just looked still at 10 in there. however if I unload moveutils I see a DoCommand - Couldnt parse /stick 40 Moveback loose. Is there a way for me to see where this command is coming from?

I've called /end multiple times and no macros are running. Tried going through all plugins to see what could be doing it, but cant find anything. will try turning the plugins off one at a time to try and troubleshoot it out I guess.

do you have a bad event or react?

Found it!. Had an MQ2Events ini with no name attached. it seems it was using that to do this. Sorry for the extra work for you, and thank you for answering, made me dig deeper.

Is there any way to have my monk chain pull while using mq2monk? I'm pretty new to this so trying to figure this out. Thanks

no, we don't have chain pulling in the cwtn plugins - we suggest that you use a hunter type mode on your tank (we have mode 8 for hunter tank - with everyone else on chase mode) and you will have very fast killing

hi i'm running 3 monks atm on rizlona im just wondering if this is plugin worth buying for tlp servers ?

I would say cause theres soo much it does i love all the plugins i think the only 2 i havent messed with is Enchanter and Sk but aint had much trouble

Love the plugin but anyone else having it crash while zoning on latest update? other toons not having issue but the only difference is this plugin for my monk. other 2 are mage and bard, which no plugins for yet.

are you getting a mq2monk crash dmp? if so pm it to me and chatwiththisname

we've not been told any new crashes happening with the cwtn suite.

if its not a mq2monk crash dmp, send it to me anyhow and i'll take a peak for you and tell you what it is (if its possible to tell you that is)

Is there a way to have it not use swift tails chant? For example, I have the plugin running on raids to help with mashing. However, if I die, the plugin will instantly use STC even if the current mob is almost dead so wasting it. I'd rather manually trigger it.

Getting some comments on raids about plugin using hundred fists instead of innerflame and that hundred fists should never be used. Tlp of course. Curious what your thoughts are on that and if a change should be made?

Im easy either way. You know things are going well when you poke at the little stuff. Thanks!

people have argued both ways, and last time someone asked about it, I asked for some documentation as to why its better and got crickets on it.

The problem with this one specifically is hundred fists should probably not be a timer 3 ability at all (which is an eq problem) - its upgrade, Speed Focus is a timer 11 ability. so the option is to leave this timer 3 ability in use for timer 3, or delete it and never use hundred fists. which would use innerflame at 56 till crystalpalm at 79 --- which I'm fine with. just need some information as to why it is actually better instead of "some dude said".

I obviously know the details of the ability and whatnot

Innerflame:

Hundred fists: (should be a timer 11 ability, not timer 3, but EQ heh)

if we can get a consensus to get rid of hundred fists - I'm fine with it

Makes sense, thanks man. I’ll holler at the folks chiming in about it and see what they got for us. Appreciate it!

I apologize if this has alrready been asked. Should mq2monk when in pullassist mode switch targets with the MA when the setting is enabled? Changes targets fine in assist mode, but not in pull assist and I was curious if that was by design. Thanks.

it is the same code as any of the assist modes once it gets back to camp and is doing the assisting bit.

However, the switchwithma bit doesn't reference pullerassist at all - I'll get with cwtn and we'll take a look at this (i don't know if this was intentional for something not coming to mind atm) but we'll take a look at it.

My monk is set to Puller Assist and when he dies and gets rezed he wont sit an med. He just stands there pausing for group to regen but he wont sit and go into regen mode unless I manually sit him. Any idea what might cause this?

yeah, probably because you have rez sickness. I'll get with chat on this one - because it doesn't look like we handle it specifically and that might just be a hang up waiting for rez stickness to go away when we should return to camp and chill. This would apply to all pullerassists for all classes -

I posted recently about the monk not changing targets with MA when in pull assist mode. After the patch on test the toher day, and subsequent patches for mq and such, none of my chars will change target with MA under any circumstance anymore. is there something I could be overlooking? mq2monk, m q2shaman, mq2cleric, mq2warrior, mq2rogue and mq2bezerker same results.

thanks for the help.

tearulie - howdy
yeah switchwithma is currently not functioning until next VV rebuild update - posted in a couple threads - but it is on all the cwtn class plugins - if you have the current patched version, switchwithma is not working (its actually just *missing*)

Just started using this. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer after searching for a bit. Does the monk epic 1.0 get used automatically by the plugin during combat if it is currently worn, or does it have to be added as a clicky? If it has to be added, is it best to add it as /monk addclicky Offensive? or Burn?

1.0 does not get used automagically

offensive would check it any time you're fighting and if you didn't have the buff from it - it would toss it up
burn would check any time you're in your burn condition and if you didn't have the buff from it - it would toss it up

there's no recast on it right? i'd use offensive

I am noticing on my SK in puller tank mode he does the same thing Does not sit after Rez and if the rest of the group is good he will immediately go pull even though he has Rez sickness. I just pause the and sit him down and wat three minutes then resume.

yup, when things get updated you'll see them in the update notes - if they're not in the update notes it hasn't been updated yet =p

Will see if i can test this a bit and push for maybe:tm: next build
