- maxRunCount which relates to the Safe Mode option. This feature allows you to configure how many times you want to run through a Grind instance. Once completed the configured run count the plugin will automatically run the lastRunCmd

idk if this right place to put this i was running the maidens eye grind a few weeks ago fine but last night i ran it with a different group with similar make up both has a shadowknight as puller it seemed to get hung up on step 4 for some reason sk would just stand there and stare at the mob and not pull it then eventually wiped with no action. I havent changed any setting or anything seems odd.

What would be helpful is to toggle debug (/grind debug) and then share with me what it's complaining about. Keep in mind to AVOID sharing any personal / toon related details when you share this info.

thanks think i figured it out the shadow knight im using this set was setup to pull with a ranged weapon and not a spell like i have other shadowknight set up to do.

I wanted to start by saying I love MQ2grind and have been using it for years. It's simply incredible and I'm glad you're able to make a successful side hustle off something that helps all of us out with EQ!

I was looking for how to integrate Discord into my grindui and I couldn't find any steps on how to add this. I tried searching this discussion forum and didn't see it either. Admittedly I don't use discord much, so I'm sure the issue is on my end. Could you point me to the walkthrough of how to integrate this? Thank you!

I thought I had something written up for this but I see that never got out of my head and into the Wiki. I'm very sorry about that!

I've been working on releasing instances for Shattering of Ro. I'll work on a write up for the Discord integration.
 
Using the SOR Hate instance, I have wiped both times I ran the grind there. I will run it later to give you the step it is getting about 7-8 mobs at once on, but wanted to provide a heads up.
The waxwork instance has been working well for me though, just so you know, and is a good farming mission for the Crystals and other TS items. Thanks!

I suspect this is near the hedge / maze area. I'll have a look at route changing. I saw this once in the 15 runs and marked it up to fun.
 
Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but for the Waxwork Abolishion mission/grind, after the 1st cycle, the group does not move to the quest npc after zoning out of the mission. They say ready at the zone out spot which is too far away from the quest npc. Thus, after the first run, it stops. However, while inside, everything works great and no issues.

Hey there. There is a chance that when your toons zone out, they delay and the toon that gets the task might zone in alone. Grind caters for this edge case and if you allow it time (about 30 seconds) it will move your toons to the quest giver (while driver in the instance) and those toons by the quest giver will target and say the phrase to get into the instance. Give it time. It will self-heal when dealing with EQ crap. :)
 
When I try to run the plugin in the Hazuri instance it immediately goes to pause and tells me someone has died. This happens even if I have just logged on for the day.
The control room will start for me, but will not automatically grab an instance after the first run, It says "pausing plugin due to group member disappearance".

I spent the morning testing the flipping of this instance, I flipped it 7 times. There's not a problem with the code.

Now, let's dig into your group configuration, mind sharing what classes, number of mercs, number of total group members?
 
I have used a couple different class configurations. SK, CLR, ROG, RNG, NEC, BST mainly. Have substituted a MAG for the CLR and SHM for the RNG also. Just tried with both the CLR and SHM together and get the same result. I dont use mercs.
 
Its getting even more odd. 3 times today it has picked up another instance. About 10 times it has not. Also two of the times the instance was recycled successfully, my BL was not added to the task, even though he was part of the group at the end of an instance.

I really hope the answer to this is "no", are you using a custom UI at all something like MyUI where you have the EQ UI hidden?
 
I'm at a loss here. @darmigon would you please log in, type "/grind debug" to toggle the debug (very verbose), and try again. When it fails, copy all the debug from MQ Console to note to me directly. I'll send you a private message to make sure you can.
 
Nah just a zone/instance in particular that is good comparatively for farming fletching materials as opposed to other instances with grind

Grind has a "SafeMode" where you can select which location you want to exit early at. It was specifically added for 2 use cases, one was early exit as the wanted TS Mats were not dropping beyond a certain location.

Is it that there's a ToL instance that Grind isn't handling, that you wish it did? Let me know which one if this is the case. I've been considering adding a feature for such things.

nah, I think he's just asking which one he should do to get the most timber drops vs other mats
 
I am sure I'm missing something, but while running MQ@grind with my war as leader, grind will pull nonstop, even with no mana and no end. I have MQ2war set to stop at 20 end and to watch cleric, low is 20 as well. Grind or sick doesn't rest. I cannot find where I can change another setting to make it rest. What am I missing?

"i have mq2war set" - this is mq2grind, it is not doing anything with your mq2war pulling settings because it isn't mq2war doing the pulling
