Release MQ2Grind (4 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

Performed the update and watched 3 toons die randomly over the first 20 minutes not sure what the heck is going on. Performed the Next update and Grind update. I ran this ToL grind for 10 hours with no deaths and now after the update 3 deaths of random toons in 20 min something is going on. Tank died randomly, Zerker randomly and Shaman Randomly not sure if Tank is not AE agroing or taking attention when have multiple mobs. All toons are 120 and have an ENC as well for CC ...

Grind doesn't perform the combat beyond the pulling of a mob. It's up to your combat helper (mq2war, kissassist, rgmerc) to perform the combat routines.

Nothing in this update would make your toons misbehave in the way you're sharing. Now please keep in mind that we play a game that uses a random number generator to determine our fate. Maybe some bad luck? I die from time to time as well. My warrior is like 20% behind the rest of my crew.
 
There is a pathing issue with "The Darkness Howls" location 3 (or 5, I'm not sure). I'm not sure if you guys can do anything about it, but toons are randomly getting stuck behind a log. Is it possible to change the waypoint so they don't go behind the log?

I assume you've downloaded the latest GMM mesh from MQ Mesh repo?

I was having the same problem. I downloaded the full mesh pack the day before yesterday, but by individually overwriting this one it seems to have fixed it.
 
Unfortunately, I'm still getting toons stuck behind the log. But, by the time this will be fixed, I will have moved on.

Butters - please provide me a specific location so that I can look at it. I've run GMM for upwards of 15 hours and never had an issue. Are your toons shrunk? are they full height? In order to fix a problem, I need more information that helps me fix it.

To say this plugin rocks is an understatement. I just started using it, and it is very easy to learn how to set it up. If you have imported kissassist configs and gotten a box group running you can handle this.

I am currently using it to lvl up a tank for my box group so my group config is a bit odd right now, I have a merc tank from my 117 shammy and then i'm using my 110 bard to be the "tank" to pull. I am running the goblins and fools mission to get my shadowknight tank up, he is up to 98 now and will be ready to go gold and start handling tanking before long. However i'm having an issue with the plugin

I get stuck at locations a lot of times, i can get it working by clicking the sit button and my bard will sit and then suddenly run off to the next location. When I run /grind debug it sits scrolling in the stuck spots isTargetValidNPC - failed to get Target, retry, then after that it is GET2LOC update to [GRINDING]

As i said to get it running again i simply sit and stand a few times and it gets him up and running. This works when i'm sitting next to the computer to help run the group but ideally i want to be able to run this on my laptop next to me while i work on my desktop and not have to jump in every minute or two to sit/stand the bard.

Any suggestions or additional information needed to troubleshoot this?

Yes, my toons that are strunk get stuck there a lot. I stopped shrink and now only my gnome gets stuck there.
 
what would i need to change .ini to so i can use rgmerc for non-cwtn toon?

Shei mission - first long floor my cwtn warr runs straight into 3 mobs with whole group on followme. Is that how its supposed to be? I thought there was pulling with pull distance to edit.

Also KA Bard is put to pause and then not unpaused. So its adds upto the 3 mobs being a bit hefty to run straight into.

Probs somethign i do wrong, dunno whattho. :)

Avoid Tol Shei until the next RG update. I've re-mapped the instance.

I've done Gnome Mtn so many times I've given the mobs names. It's working great thanks for all the help.

Disregard my message below, I missed your earlier thread before posting...





Location 9 in ToL Shei Vinitras seems particularly brutal. My group can handle 3 in there with no problem, 4 gets a little dicey and 5 is almost always a wipe. Location 9 would seem much more manageable if it was a little further south. The red dot is my approximation of location 9, the green dot would seem like a safer location. Granted I'm sure you tinkered with this way more than me. Curious about the reasoning for this spot. Thanks.

This might be due to old build of Grind (waiting on new build from RG). Please have a look at your inbox.

really want to see the new pull path in ToL should be amazing. right now I'm just doing a 6hr pull path up and down the walk ways in it.

Darkness Howls - today it has started to not drop the task at the end. I'd say it's about 50%. Anyone else notice this or any input fix? Thanks!

I've seen this twice over the past few days running Restless Assault (100s of runs). I haven't been able to reproduce it though.

I've been able to replicate it, but it was due to a bad function I created, so I literally removed it and went hard core. Since the plugin doesn't morph/change besides by my hand and I haven't touched GMM nor the exit features, I'd say it could be server lag.

I realized I have been running with both EQBC and dannet loaded. Could that cause a conflict?
 
Are there for sure collects in basilica? I've ran a handful of cycles and have not seen any drop. Maybe not on mobs that are being killed?

The plugin clears all the mobs in the zone, minus the mission ones. There are literally no other mobs available to kill without doing the mission. Regarding the collectibles, that I'll need to check. I copied/pasted the source line so the reference to collectibles might be in error. The zone for me is more about a nice area to xp alone.

The next update will fix the offending phrasing.

Would it be possible for enchanters to try to release their charm pet at the end of the zone, before turning on pause? Have had a few occasions where half the group gets wiped during that 60 seconds. If I'm at the keyboard but looking at por--something else, somebody almost certainly dies before I can take action. (I can turn off charm as a mitigation, of course.)

Without knowing how or what you are charming and when you'd want to let it go, I'd say that maybe use a React or Lua to pick up what location you are at and then do something with the charmed thing. That might include pausing grind at Loc 31 for instance, dropping pet, telling tank to attack it? You're going to need to figure out how you want to end your relationship with the charmed pet.

Just some thoughts.
 
A simpler alternative might be to have a configuration to delay the characters getting paused before zoning out? I do not know how much variance there is in zone close times. We don't have to kill the broken pet, we just need to have it trying to eat the tank instead of the squishies until the zone closes.

I m starting using your great tool with my SK using cwtn plugin.
Issue : after moving, I'm spammed with the message 'you do not seem to have that spell memorized"!
Do I need to select a special setting or?
Except for a summon corpse I have all spell 90+ memorized

After rushing the first mob, the in akheva, the sk moved back to that loop, so it seems to be a post-fight issue and not a pulling one.

I don't have the same error as before, it now moved to a couldn't parse...
I did check my spelling, try with and without space after the ";" but nothing (and i also tried "navtarget" and "nav target" in case i got the spelling wrong

I had the issue with this, but it should have been the spell you changed in your ini.

Grind only uses 1 spell from SK, that's to pull with. The configuration is in the UI (/grind ui) under Tank, under GTDistPullCmd - edit that to be aligned with what spell you want to pull with, then click Save.

I did that and tried with either aa Hate's attraction or the line mentioned by hytiek...

Can another sk post the line in his file?

Just got this bought / downloaded into my Plugin files into my MQ2Next folder, and i'm getting the following error when trying to load it. Any advice?

"Plugin MQ2Grind could not be loaded: LoadLibrary failed with error 0x0000007f"

Not sure if I have to wait the 4 hours for the launcher to get the right version or what?
