my tank keeps running by a group of mobs around WP 3-4 in ToL and getting a mini train and dying.

Is your tank set up correctly to pull mobs? For instance are you running a newly 117+ SHD and forgot to update it to Parlay of Power instead of the previous configuration of Protest of Power? Please let me know.
 
I would try RGMerc or KissAssist. Both are found in the forums.
I've tried KA and RGMercs both for my bard (and druid). Since I just want to play and not to fart around with tuning a support role (and a certain bard plugin isn't yet ready to see the light of day) I've stuck with RGMercs. It works right out of the box for my bard (and druid). It does a decent CC and DPS without my having to play with an ini.

Hey there - We are very spoiled with the CWTN plugin suite. I do have a want/ticket open to add some intelligence of default values based on Level; it's a very valid ask.

I've debating about the best way to handle the configuration to support multiple Tank types on the same PC and constructed this configuration (instead of code):

GTPullDistCmd=/docommand ${If[${Me.Class.ShortName.Equal[SHD]},/multiline ; /cast Protest for Power; /face; /timed 20 /nav target log=off; /timed 25 /attack on,${If[${Me.Class.ShortName.Equal[WAR]},/ranged,/mac kissassist tank]}]}

So to explain this mess... this will check if you are SHD, if so, it will used Protest for Power (update as you want). Then the next reference you'll see WAR; so if not SHD, then this checks if you are a WAR and if so, uses /ranged; if you are not SHD nor WAR, then it runs kissassist in tank mode.

I've heard this ask before and I don't feel like it should go in Grind. Rather use MQ2React since each member of the group may have different timers. Setting up MQ2React on each toon would benefit you a lot. Matter of fact, recently it was shared: here

That's not part of the resource though... This is where it gets tricky and why it's quite useful in the forum for others to benefit from. I think someone else shared some wipe/recover MQ2Reacts as well. The tools are all there to implement a bunch of neat things.
 
The plugin is awesome. Thank you for such a gem.

But it seems I got a problem,

I just run 4 times the GD mission. I noticed the in the southern edge of the caves all chars can't decide wether to run left or right up to north so that 3 run left way and 3 go right way and it gives a 10 wurm pull.
Using reavers bargain and such I could survive it but I wonder if it is a mesh problem. I am using Next and used the ui-interface to configure everything. Tank is SK with pullrange 100 in sictank mode all the other (Shm,Clr,Ber, Roga nd Brd) are going in vorpalmode

which is the post I shared with you. The search is powerful, I've only recently learned how to use it effectively.
 
running a 118 warrior he works well on all other grinds...just the ToL version he skips about 3-4 mobs after waypoint 3 I think. bottom of first alley way before you make the turn, he runs by those mobs.

why? lol they always train my guys and kill em

Face pulling the 4 for someone rolling in who isn't geared for the zone is a reality. If you are dying to them, how would you live if you navigated to them? There's 4 or 5 if I'm thinking of the same place where you run down the stairs and hug right tight. Mobs are to the left; correct ?
 
dying because they come from behind and kill the stragglers then tank. but ok since it is intentional that is the way it is.....
 
Quick question - if a toon dies, and is rezzed, the plugin remains paused. Is this normal? I see my settings show a 30 second delay after rez but it never resumes on its own.

The FAQ doesn't have this well depicted, I can appreciate the confusion.

DelayAfterRez is the time that the plugin will wait after it realizes that it was rezzed; giving the "tank" time to get re-buffed. This variable does not apply to a group mate being rezzed. When a group mate dies, there is a plugin pause, on purpose. The recovery is not automated to ensure that you aren't really afking ... =)

Maybe my description is not detailed enough.

The instance is very short - it just heads west and then ends.

Is there any chance of getting this to be a 5-hour grind since the zone quickly respawns? I feel like we spend almost as much time quitting / sitting outside / zoning back in than we do running through these (rangers and rogues just decimate everything in this zone).
 
i have same issue like jableakley and wrong target seems quest mobs ( lying down Vah Shir?) try attaking and nothing to do can't ignore them

When I had similar challenges (low mana/end), I adjusted the DelayATLoc to be something that my group could sustain through the grinds. Early on I had to use 16 sec, now, depending on the instance it is 0-12sec. Perhaps this would help?

As an alternate, if you can get through the entire instance w/out pauses, then you could delay at the start to "top off" the characters, using DelayAtStaging.

First thank you, this seems so powerful and awesome. I'm using it to PL up a tank as my friends and I have been using a merc tank and he is just dragging lately. Because of that I have a fairly unusual setup going on right now, the SK i'm PLing is to weak to handle tanking the goblins and fools mission so i'm running my merc tank from my shaman as the group tank for now, and i'm using the bard as the "tank" role to pull with. I'm running kissassist on all the toons, right now its a 110 bard, 110 druid, 116 shaman, and then a 95 ranger and SK. The sk and ranger have basically everything turned off so they don't die, i was able to figure out that problem pretty fast. However now i'm having a new problem that i havne't been able to solve.

The plugin keeps getting stuck, after it clears mobs many times it will just sit at the location, or sometimes it will go up and the goblins will be just over 100 (yards, feet, i was never clear what the unit of measure was lol) which i assume is the radius set by the plugin. I tried upping the camp radius in my kiss assist file and upping the maxradius under [pull] but nether seem to be working. I currently have the pullwith set to melee as i don't have a ranged item, is that the problem? I tried having it using sonic displacement but i assume because i'm twisting the macro doesn't seem to want to stop to use that to pull?

Also it seems like a lot of times it says moving group to location 3, or really any of them) and it just sits there, but i have the nav mesh loaded and it has worked previously?

While I understand a bit of your configuration I don't understand everything. What spell are you using in your GTPullDistCmd;

This has been fixed and will be available in the next build of MQ. Sorry for the trouble.

This has also been addressed in the update; we just need to wait for RG to rebuild.

- Added the worthy sacrifices area in Shei Vinitras to the BadGeofence location, this means you shouldn't get stuck in that area trying to attack them

Deprecated (MQNext build only)
- Removed the force "WaitForLoot" on a few instances; this means that if you want to wait for loot, you must manually enable it
 
Ran across one little bug with grinding Shei Vinitras. After recovering from a small wipe, I did "/grind resume" while in zone-in room. My SK targeted Shei Vinitras and ran up to her. While the rest of the team ran the opposite direction back to the room I wiped in and aggroed a train in the process. Not sure what happened there.

I can only imagine what did that... Good point, recovering in the most safe room possible. I'll add Shei to the bad geofence area :) thank you.

May I suggest while in that room:
1) /grind restart 1
2) /grind resume

Performed the update and watched 3 toons die randomly over the first 20 minutes not sure what the heck is going on. Performed the Next update and Grind update. I ran this ToL grind for 10 hours with no deaths and now after the update 3 deaths of random toons in 20 min something is going on. Tank died randomly, Zerker randomly and Shaman Randomly not sure if Tank is not AE agroing or taking attention when have multiple mobs. All toons are 120 and have an ENC as well for CC ...
 
There is a pathing issue with "The Darkness Howls" location 3 (or 5, I'm not sure). I'm not sure if you guys can do anything about it, but toons are randomly getting stuck behind a log. Is it possible to change the waypoint so they don't go behind the log?
