Release MQ2Grind (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Well. The worms are all white con mobs, so it’s better than the base zone wurm caves as they are all blue cons. Same as the even con coldain cave though. But it’s inside an instance and not out in the open world zone

I don't believe that the blue con wurms in static GD have the same XP as the white con in the instance...

In EOK the droga/Chardok heroics only give 50% of the xp per kill you get in the non instance versions the same for GMM i believe. However this changed in TBL/TOV as they put trash in the group missions they kept the same xp modifiers as the normal zone.

So in TBL,TOV,COV a white con in the instance should give the same xp as a white con in the normal zones.

Agreed. The wurms are blue con in static zone, and white con in instance.

Oh, Hy remind me to try this again next week and see if it is still crashing my tank when I turn off grind. :P

Have only been using for a day and while there was a couple of little things at start hytiek helped me out on discord to the point it’s running perfectly and gaining aas fast. I gained over 5k aas on group combined in 1 day of use with many more days/alts to run
Got a paying subscriber when it goes paid here

first run thru this for me, I definitely like it. I had some issues running it. General principle works fine but my warrior doesn't have any ranged weapon. I am inferring that you intend the group to move thru the checkpoints and tank tags mobs to group. I modified to /war mode 8 which got it done. Just wondering if there is an easy edit to use my Staff of Viral Flux. I am newb on commands.

This is great - only niggle I'm seeing is it's missing some wurms in the north of the caves each time

In the mq2grin.ini file check your SafeMode option. It looks like it’s ending at loc 27, which is what it does when safemode is enabled. If you set that to 0 then it should start going to that ☠️ zone up there ☺️

In your mq2grind.ini file look to the section where it defines your tank settings. On GTDistance line you should see /ranged as the pull option. Try changing that to /useitem Staff of Viral Flux and see if that works. I’m not 100% it will, but it might!

Ohh I see, cheers

The ini has some examples. Mostly you need to tell it which automation macro to kick off when the kill starts for each class That be CWTN class plugin, RGMerc, MuleAssist, KissAssist, or another one.

Can you give me a dummbed down version of how to run this. I notice it says I need to edit MQ2grind.ini but what is it that I need to edit?

If you need some help, get me on Discord (hytiek#2341)

The short story, is open the INI; there are really two sections you should be concerned with. The first is [Tank] this is where you define what your tank does and how it starts. Check the examples commented out.

The next section are the classes below, don't change them to your toon names, leave as Classes. The reason is that based on the classes in your group, the plugin will instruct them what to do based on the configuration.

So if you wizard is using Muleassist and the MQ2Grind.ini says to rgstart, you'll be unhappy. Just update them to reflect the configuration you would normally use by hotkey or by manually typing.

I've noticed on the rogue, if UseHideSneak is checked (using CWTN plugin), the rogue will not enter the instance with the rest of the crew. I can overcome this by unchecking sneak/hide, but would it be difficulty to add a /MakeMeVisible before "/say ready"?

Here's an example for Rogue
INI:
[Rogue]
Start=/multiline ; /rog usehidesneak on; /rog switchwithma on; /rog mode chase; /rog assistat 99
Pause=/multiline ; /rog pause on; /rog usehidesneak off; /makemevis
Resume=/multiline ; /rog pause off; /rog usehidesneak on; /rog mode chase
End=/rog mode 0

Zues came up with this one for the hidesneak issue.

I hope it helps!

yes, that change did work to use staff of viral flux, got the plugin past the first location and working great. thanks!

After running this for a number of runs. I noticed 10-20% of the time it leaves group mates behind at campfire. The ones left behind get red, zone not yet ready and others don't. I realize this isn't a new issue but is there currently any ini options to set a longer pause or verify zone in success to trigger another attempt?

I'm going to adjust this, it irritates me too. That being said; the updated plugin should bring those toons on through about 10 seconds later. Have you tried the new build yet?

It does seem better so far, on a separate note. I can clear this in 18 mins with my current team. If I brought my better dps or level this bot I am working on. Have you considered if someone clears the instance faster then the fellowship refresh?

With most recent update, I am consistently still having issue entering instance. I don't exactly understand but some members of group don't get into task and get stuck with a task invite. I thought even if zoning the group members on task invite should be automatically added. Is the plugin doing something unique for task request/group invites?

It drops the task before fellowshipping out. So worst case they zone out after a minute anyways.

The red text blocking is still an issue. I haven't fixed it yet. It's actually the next task I have for myself. I just finished implementing multi-instance support.

The plugin does nothing special with requests / drops; except it does it for you.

Ya, I don't know if its something conflicting but I still consistently on the flip from ending one instance and getting next one. Some group members will not get initial task add, and the plugin is doing a good job of inviting them but the recipient doesn't automatically accept. Do I need to make sure mq2grind is loaded in their window also? or some other required plugin I might be missing? It isn't always 1 character seems to migrate from 1-4 of the group.

Actually, as I am watching it some more, I see it requested task correctly, everyone was added and somehow it booted 4 members from task before leader zoned into new instance. Some lag to how you remove previous task lagging maybe on other characters? /kickp task from leader command would probably not have this kinda delay.

I too have seen that oddity. It's new in EQ, I've been working on this plugin for months and have only seen this behaviour in the last week to 10 days. The plugin uses a broadcasted /taskquit over dannet at about the 15 seconds to exit marker, while inside the instance. I did add a brute force add, which does require MQ2AutoAccept to fully work.

ok thanks, i'll see if my autoaccept is setup. without any insight into all the trial and error you have achieved. I would suggest /kickplayer task is more efficient plan to prevent communication lag or duplication while zoning maybe.

This is great apart from I have to manually '/grind pause' to med

..or am i doing something wrong?

This is what I have set in my ini but it does not cast Protest for Power RK. II. He targets the mob and just stands there. Any thoughts?

Start=/multiline ; /shd pause on; /shd mode 7
PullDistance=100
GTDistPullCmd=/multiline ; /cast Protest for Power Rk. II; /face; /timed 20 /nav target log=off; /timed 25 /attack on
LTDistPullCmd=/docommand ${If[${Target.Distance} > 50,/cast Protest for Power,/multiline ; /nav target log=off; /timed 5 /attack on]}

The plugin doesn't look for mana/endurance to pause, you are correct in your statement. By chance are you running a Paladin? Its the one class I don't have to test with.

I believe if you remove the Rk. II from your configuration and /grind reload - you should be up and running. If not, toggle debug (/grind debug) and PM me the output or get me in Discord.
