Q. I appear to be chain casting Azia/Beza - or the buffs that azia/beza cast like covenant line?
A. Do you have any enchanter buffs on you? you likely have an issue that MacroQuest is reporting to mq2eskay that, despite having voice of sagacity, that you still need covenant. You should decide which one you want and add the other one to your blocked buffs.

There are a few of these buffs that eq/mq2 reports stack that do not or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast. This is a built-in EverQuest feature - right-click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs


EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)



Make sure you understand that if you block the covenant part, you need to block the skelly illusion part as well, since that is part of that spell.

Having issue with the CA Rest spamming, had the issue day prior to EQ update but didn't think about it as soon as engaged it quit. happened again today. Believe it's having an issue with the <21% HP check as I had died, cleric rezzed with divine rez so HPs were full after rez, also had another regen buff but missed what one it was illusion Lycanthropy only usable at 30% health. It's new skill for me as just got all the 96-100 skills/spells
 
My SK's dps since yesterday's patch has been TERRIBLE. Before the patch he was averaging 300-400K and now he is not even cracking 100. Seems to be running fine, but something is clearly wrong. Has anyone else experience very bad dps lately?

there was an issue with mq2dpsadv - you could also check with a log parser instead of mq2dpsadv

is there a way to do with this MQ2Eskay? if I make the CampRadius too small in an effort to corral my SK to a tighter camp (he likes to run out to meet his pulls sometimes and after a while we've slid further forward. with too tight a CampRadius My pet goes bonkers trying to conform and then summon companion cycles to bring him closer...

you should post mq2eskay questions in the mq2eskay thread and not scuff up a kissassist thread please

mq2eskay will engage a mob once it reaches your camp - unless it is attacking someone who is not tagged as puller in which case it will use your camp radius and your campoverlapbuffer

Sorry, I now see that was deep in the thread... 1645492350790.png I just noticed the "meleedistance" from search and went there... Good call out on the campoverlapbuffer, I see how that works now. I'll goof with that and see if that helps.

my guess is because the illusion also gives you addition effects - in this case the size change. if an illusion gives you *something* else like a faction change (as an example), we don't remove it. as there are many quests that would illusion you for the quest, and removing it would mess up your quest.

unlikely we will make adjustments here in this specific example - but I'll see what other illusions i can find that do size and maybe make an exception on size changes
 
Getting a problem where Xetheg's Carapce is being used for 24 seconds then it does /stop disc to switch to Fyrthek Mantle.

Have noticed this do it quite a few times now. Wanted to make sure before posting.

can you show me mq2eskay stopping the disc, it would say it in your mq2eskay window, because we don't have any calls in mq2eskay to stop any discs.
 
No faction change, the illusion part only chage player size from 80 to 100%.

The benefit is the following:

Sic is correct. If the illusion also has additional effects we don't remove it. The autoremove illusion will pick up things that only have an illusion as their benefit as those take up a slot you can use for other things, or mess with mounts/shrinking etc.

An example would be if you set the dragorn war mask to downtime clicky, and then we autoremove the illusion. The downtime clicky would chain cast, and we would just keep clicking off the illusion since the benefit from it comes from the single spell which does both the illusion and the buff.

So it only does this when I manually click the disc. Just did it a couple of times and it didn't stop the disc if the plugin started it. In the case where I click it, I hit Xetheg, it stopped the disc, and turned on deflection. If deflection was down, it would stop the disc and do Mantle.

I manually drive the SK, but when I work from home, I let the plug run and if the pull is big enough, I would just click the disc ahead of time myself.

Edit: To answer your question, there isn't a line where it shows that it stops the disc when I click the disc manually.

I'm in the Velks mission and some pulls are 12-15. Rearranged the disc clicks and no problems. Xetheg faded, but it was due to the 32 drains. Just didnt seem right fading that quick. Checked the logs. All good!
 
Now that the vendor is up in TOL and I have enough cash, I'm starting to want to purchase my Type 3 augs, specifically for my SK but with others to follow.

Since I'm using MQ2Eskay, I would think the augs to get would be pretty well know but I've ignored Type 3's for quite a while so I'm way behind the curve.

Does anybody have a suggestion as to which ones I should buy or which ones I should avoid while using this plugin? Also, I'd be game for Type 3 aug lists for the other classes as well.

get the type 3s for the abilities the plugin uses - these are pretty much going to be the augs that any player would use (outside of some niche cases) and not really have anything to do with mq2eskay or the plugins specifically.

example:
INI:
parlay for power
bond of bynn
cruor's bite
despicable bargain
dire censure
spear of bloodwretch
touch of txiki
grisly blade

unless you're using dots you're probably not going to need blood, plague, or blight, we don't use night's calming etc.

there aren't as many options as you think.

this is one of those things that you need to take time and think about what stuff you personally use, and what choices you want to make. like you should probably also have a luminous restless ice and a stone of judgment in type 3 slots

check on magelo to see what other people are using
 
Hey there, I am running the plugin and am at level 27 in ToFS. The plugin has been running great, but I recently wipes and now the SK won't pull due to a corpse being nearby. How do I get him to ignore group corpse recovery and start pulling again? He is in pullertank mode 5.

hide the corpse
drag the corpse away

Couldn't find the thread to respond after you moved it until today Sic, sorry. Thanks for the info! I'll start digging in to the plugin and do some investigation. I've put this off on all my toons and it's time to start stepping up my game.
 
ive been using mq2eskay for couple months now i love it but for some reason Hunter Tank no longer works for me i mean i can switch him to hunter tank but he wont hunt i keep everything updated not sure why this is may i please have some thoughts on this

Check the faq, tells you why you wouldn't pull something.

Keep in mind there is a sticky about crashes in live, and for test there are still buff bugs that also might prevent you from pulling.
 
Right click the spell it tells you in the spell info.

Did you also check the faq?
@Sic Yes. I've blocked the spell using [/blockspell add me 19331] and it's still chain casting. You mentioned in many if your threads to also block the illusion part of the spell. What is the Illusion ID part of this spell? I don't see it.

A. You probably have auto remove illusion turned on, but don't actually have the illusion from this spell added to your blocked buffs. This will make you want to recast the spell. If you don't want to re-cast the spell to get the illusion, you will want to add it to your blocked buffs. This is typically Icebone Skeletal Form.

For Venril's Covenant you want to block Sebilisian Form which is 9694, which you can add by name or by right clicking the spell, or by the blockspell command

Did we get an answer or a fix for the sk dps.. I have checked gameparse as well and shows that my 116 sk 40k aa is doing 55k dps doesnt seem right....... All i have seen in this was "patch" and a link to a macro.. havent seen an answer.. did I miss it in another post?

There is no dps issue in mq2eskay
