Would it be possible to have the SK use Spire & Visage of Death prior to using Harm Touch?
not really - I'm splitting the defensive/burns into suggestions from some end-game folks and guides to try and get the "best overall out the box" experience from a tanking perspective.
I can look into it if you give your thoughts on what the tier'd defensive burns would look like.

Currently doing Deflection > Flash > Visage of Death + Epic + carapace > Mantle > Guardian+Spire

Since HT fires as just tied to burning, I would hate to make it wait - plus we're not using spire + visage at the same time currently
 
I understand not waiting for visage to be available...but if it is available, anyway to make it fire after?
As for Defensive....I would take spire out completely from the defensive line and use it as a burn ability.

yeah I was actually debating about spire since the changes, plus quick recast - I'll move this to just a burn and place it before HT

as far as the other bit - it would mean holding HT until after deflection and flash if visage was going to be available - deflection is what12s + extension? ( i can't log on my sk to get numbers atm) - I'd really hate to try and save it that late in the fight

but the spire change is a good one - i mean to circle back to it so appreciate you bringing it up
 
Also, is there any kind of logic you can put in to not use Deflection and Shield Flash if using a 2hander?
Deflection lasts 12 seconds (24 seconds with BP effect).
 
I am having an issue since the patch with my SK crashing straight to desktop. No dump file or anything. It has also happened on my war once or twice. It appears to happen after death each time.
 
it would keep cast SK's AA "Dark Lord's Unity (Azia) " if with chanter's buff "Voice of Sagacity"
 
Yes enchanter voice overwrites sk mana regen buff because its better.
that's only half of what i asked - if you have the enchanter regen it shouldn't try to overwrite it unless it can actually overwrite it (outside of using it to break stuck gems)

I was asking in case this was a situation of cleric yaulp and spiritual (tho in that case its on duration and not just each overwriting each other) where yaulp will overwrite spiritual from bst, but when yaulp fades the bst will rebuff it, so its usually best to just block the spirutual on the clr.

In mode 1, (i know SK's are tanks... i know), SK's don't burn any discs! I have a super strong beefy warrior friend who plays tank certain days... and in mode 1.... SK literally only auto attacks even with "burnalways" on. This intended?

I use MQ2zerk and MQ2bst and MQ2monk in same group, so MT and MA are set.

I've noticed this on the SK for weeks now, haven't said anything until now. Haven't had time

If i switch to mode 5, immediately pops all burns.

oh - you're in mode 1? yeah currently only going to do burn stuff in tank mode - that's why i asked if you had ma/mt set
 
One suggestion is to mem and use more AE Hate spells at least have 2 that it uses + the AA ones.
you can byos and then mem more than 2 - I'm trying to go for the most average working setup out of the box and worked with a few endgame SKs on their opinions on that - originally i had more
 
When using mode 5 when I have no more mobs to pull, going into the waiting for mobs to spawn/resting state, there is an extreme amount of lag generated on the SK.
 
I had this happen on my warrior. He would pull maybe three times. Then lag out. If I changed modes the lag would disappear. Tried troubleshooting it some, nothing seemed to work. Changed zones and it went away. Has never happened since. The one time occurred in Eok FM.
 
This run pretty good. The only issue I am finding right now is that it will mem pet spells and sometimes try to get a pet out mid pull or it will begin to do the summon pet routine but then begin to pull before it is done with all the pet stuff which ends the spell.

can you give me some specifics on this? are you using byos and keeping the pet spell memmed?

we only check our spells/buffs/gems if are not using byos, have no xtargets and not invis - then we say "we're memming spells" which should trigger us to hold pulls until we're done

if you have byos on, there is some vestigial code that would only do pet summon while in downtime (which doesn't trigger a pull hold)
 
I do not have BYOS on; i just started it up out of the box with mode 5 to pull. It does not have the pet spell memmed; it will mem the spell midpull and then attempt to cast. I usually is not successful since advpath is running. It also gives up when there is something on xtarget.

ok - I think i have a fix for that

nah, but next version will automatically put on GHold if you have that AA (double check you aren't leaving taunt on too btw --- for some reason a ton of folks don't put on ghold, and they turn on taunt and wonder why their pet keeps dying)

it defaults to using the "of power" line - if you didn't have any it would use your bow

is there a reason you want the bow and not the of power line? its pretty standard for sks to use it since itis instant hate and hate over time plus an AC Buff and doesn't have the hate penalty from pulling like other aggro abilities do (if i'm remembering that correctly)
 
Grinding some named in 2 expansions back for a couple days.

When power is down, he runs to mobs to pull. I'm in a Big wide open space where a bow and arrow makes the most sense. Also aggro is non-issue at this camp and zone

It's also nice to feel like the warrior where I can pull mobs every 10 seconds from very far away direct to camp.

I've been setup at a camp for an hour. When SK goes to pull a mob, there are some mobs that auto summon at 100%. WHen they summon him, the SK for some odd reason sets a new camp to the spot he was summoned at. Has happened 5x today and is confusing. Is this intended? If so how do I turn it off?

gonna tag in @ChatWithThisName for this one - this might be part of code that was added since people wanted to not actually un-set their camp to do things like CoTH
 
That's accurate, people were getting upset because they would CoH their zerkers without changing their mode and their toon would make a B-Line back to their camp. Up until now there's been no complaint about it adversely effecting gameplay, so there has been no reason to revisit the issue.

Sigh so obvious, feel like an idiot for not even thinking of it. Thanks Chat. Been using Zerk, Bst and Eskay plugins for the past week. I'm only level 70 and plan to be for a long time yet, I play the game very slowly and have no desire to get to current end-game. Recently returned after retiring in Underfoot and having a blast going through old content. All your plugins are working great for me at these levels, many thanks to all involved.
 
Was using this in Sathir's Tomb last night in mode 5 in the live room. When the room was empty, he tried to go down the hall to grab a mob from the middle room, but every time he did, he just stood at the door to the hall and would not open it to go thru. I had to manually click on the door every time to open it.
