yes, it does - however Eq has a bug ATM with tell messages, which breaks functionality. you probably have a disparity in tell window and non-tell window between the two too or something that causes the eq bug to not occur on one toon but is on the other. If for some reason EQ still has the bug after this next live patch (which was delayed a week until next week) then we will make adjustments to handle the bug ourselves
 
so i used Mq2Enchanter in the past on the test server & own it now
But it used to buff people outside of my crew in group with net and or ReRe buff if i had them enabled.
She dont now
Is there a way to fix that?
also could shamans be added to the list of classes to buff with ReRE & Net?
and sks & Bst put on for the auto ReRe as well?

It never buffed characters that don't operate from the same PC that the enchanter is on.

buffing requires "local toon", same pc, the same install - always has - put them on xtarget with xtarget buffing.

Q. Why does my enchanter not buff the group?
A. You will need to run /plugin mq2cwtnbuffs load on all of your characters that you would like MQ2Enchanter to buff. You also need to NOT be in /enc byos on mode. As "Bring Your Own Spells" assumes you want to handle your spells and your buffs. MQ2CWTNBuffs requires characters to be local characters (same PC, not across network or space/time).

Q. Do I need to assign what Xtargets to watch for XTargetBuffing?
A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetBuffing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then buff them (they still need to be running mq2cwtnbuffs and be local to your computer).

At level 105, using DoT's, the Enchanter continues casting "Stifle" as a DD and not the DoT as intended. Can we get an update to fix this? Burning through a ton of mana.

Hey Sic and chat.

I am running mq2enchanter on the Vaniki server and I have a problem with my lvl 64 Bliss spell, since the resist check is on another rule on the server.
My enchanter will not mezz anything over lvl 68, is there a way to change that ?

There isn't if that is what the spell is telling us it does, but we'll take a look if there is a work around.

Not sure how eq is using different stuff than in their spell info, and/or why it would be different. Are you sure that is what is happening?

Just an FYI, Vaniki has a special rulest where certain spells (mostly mez) work on creatures 10 levels higher than normal. Unfortunately, EQ doesn't report back anything different about those spells, so I never found a way to automatically determine the max spell level other than looking at spell descriptions.

yep i know.

I was asking are you sure that was the problem - because if that is the information in the spell that eq is telling mq - that is the information that we know about the spell, and i don't know how (internally) eq handling that and how that is different,

unfortunately mq and by extension, the cwtn plugins - use the information available to us by eq

this might be something that MQ needs to change to be able to get the "right one"

Is there any chance that MQ2Enchanter Aura be checked? Apparently he isnt casting niether of the 2 unless im doing something wrong. He use to cast it and just noticed it today. Thanks

yep, as expected

now we don't cast auras in combat / mobs on xtarget outside of disempower aura if you have it memorized already, so if you have mobs on xtarget / in combat, then that is why.

if you are in safe zone - we also don't cast auras, never have.

Question Enchanter Spell Re-Mem

1. BYOS is not enabled
2. gem spell 13 is always empty (well if i meme like haste or mana regen it will stay thre so not sure)

The main question that I have is once I "/ENC PAUSE ON" so that I can manually load up general buffs which is like 6 buffs (Gem Slots 8-13) (don't ask me why 6 but yes) when I "/ENC PAUSE OFF" he does not re-mem those original CWTN buff slots (Gem Slots 8-13). So, for example gem slot 1-7 are always memed to CWTN intended spells; but when I "/ENC PAUSE ON" the enchanter and load up the 6 buffs in germ slots 8-13 and then "/ENC PAUSE OFF" he does not re-mem spell gems 8-13 at all leaving the buffs i had memed there. We can be in battle, and he is utilizing gem slots 1-7 as intended but gem slots 8-13 just remains the original 6 buffs that i had previously memed and does not update them regardless of
if I'm in battle or not.

Am i doing something wrong here?

yes it is possible to have gem 13 empty depending on settings.

it is for alliance or NDT - so if NDT is memorized elsewhere due to settings (if usecharm is off for instance) or is turned off and alliance is off, then you won't put anything there.

same if you turn off usereplication - you won't put anything in gem 9

using the settings you shared:

Which likely means you have mobs on xtarget and are expecting to memorize stuff in combat? or invis without a camp set etc.

edit: since you're in raidmode, i guess it is possible that you're waiting around to do buffs, which would mean you wouldn't put your gems back until you are done. I'd imagine that is probably your case - is your toon constantly buffing and waiting to buff raid members? the melee auspice line is guilty of this because of duration and only single cast
 
thank you sic, so what about remeing cwtn instended spells for gem slots 8-12 based on my settings? we can be in pok or lobby or even just medding or taking a break and he will keep the buff slots i had up? any idea?

i can guarntee he doesnot reme those. i have to save ot to a spell set and load the spell set
 
unless.... this is just an "unless" if having an XTARGET buff is considered as agro which is not allowing him to remem the intended cwtn spells?

i just answered you with answers to those questions with the best information i have available.

the only way you wouldn't do that is if a: you're invis and not in a camp, b: byos, c: have mobs on xtarget d: currently doing buffs

because you're in a situation where 1-7 is memorizing but 8-12 isn't, leads me to believe your toon needs/wants to buff something

your "we can be in battle but keeps gems 8-13 the same" leads me to believe about the xtarget thing i mentioned

"mobs on xtarget" - this is not the same has "xtarget buff" --- but having toons to xtarget buff, or raid members to buff would absolutely mean "im going to continue do buffs" like i mentioned earlier

since ive posted this ive just been sitting here with my enchanter and crew and all his intended buffs have been dished out. he cant cant mana rebirth as its not memd yet so maybe im confused but nights terror has all been casted.

im trying to assist in trouble shooting this but i can be in the same format for hours and he still wont mem those others

disband group, raid, etc. relog your toon.

do you memorize your spells when you come back in (and double check byos is off)

double check that your UI isn't out of date and doing something whacky
 
thx sic, ill do what u suggested and keep you posted in this thread. appreciate your accistance. i want to say that i can load up other spells manually on other plugins and once unpaused they reload thier intended spells. but i will try your suggestion and keep you posted.

hello sic and cwtn,

thanks for the update on mq2shaman and mq2enchanter in raid mode. with that being said, enchanter is no longer casting auspice on everyone, however he is still casting it on pets. if i read the update entry correctly i believe this got illiminated. any chance im doing something wrong?

build failed. the difference between a capitol letter and a lower case letter has thwarted our attempts. I've submitted the necessary adjustment. Just have to wait for the next build.
 
Is the following changed or was only in KA, the Broadcast message shows casting Addle on the mob in MQ window, but no longer displays the mob is MEZZED in MQ window.

this is the mq2enchanter thread, I'm not sure what changed in KA

we only broadcast mez usage (when we're using it to mez) if broadcastmez is turned on

we don't ever nor have we ever done additional messages saying it is mezzed or unmezzed
 
Level 80 on Rizlona, only have 1 aura available. When I select "combat innate aura", enchanter will cast the Mana Resurgence Aura. Afterwards will spam cast the spell Mana Resurgence with the message "You do not have sufficient focus to maintain that ability." Cast window shows the enchanter is trying to re-cast the aura but the message in the window is for the spell.
