Plugin - MQ2Enchanter (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

The only issue i'm seeing so far, is that my enchanter keeps chain casting Eldrich Rune (which won't take because of self rune). Other than that, works great at pre-release state. Can't wait to buy. Thanks for working on these INIS. I could also be an idiot, and not see a setting that needs to be changed. Hope this helps out.

I was seeing this issue as well ( my chanter is a bit smaller at only 89) but I would have to click off the spell rune for him to land Eldritch and stop spamming himself.
 
I am trying out this plugin and have found that if I have the spell Arcanaward's rune up it will chain cast the AA Eldritch rune, and will not stop until I take off the Arcanaward's rune off.

like others have said so far I am lvl 92.

It will also chain cast eldritch rune if Spectral rune is up,

Checking out mq2enchanter on TLP with my 60 enchanter. I noticed that when I issue /status it showed "FALSE!" instead of "Class Plugin: Loaded!" So far so good on everything else.

yup - that's an mq2status issue that i will fix
 
For those that are having issues with self rune not stacking with eldritch, block the self rune and eldritch will land and the enchanter shouldn't cast the self rune again. I never encountered the issue, so it appears to stack at higher levels, or was a non-issue on TLP enchanter I played otherwise I would look into the specifics of the issue more.

This applies to any buffs that are reporting they don't stack.
 
Probably already aware, but BYOS is not functioning properly. This may be because there is no toggle, but even when you command it in, it still is not working.

Additionally, is it intended to mem proclamation of tashan? It uses the AA as the primary, so wouldn't it make more sense to load up another DD in its place?

Yes, even if I did load another nuke I'd never use it as the existing DPS lineup would be better left ignoring the additional nuke I've memorized.
 
One more item that may be known or not - regardless of which aura's i choose (And I'm using the command line so they save), when I log out and back in, chanter always does Learner's in aura 1 slot. Had her with Mana Rep in slot 1 and Twincast in slot 2 when I logged out earlier. Log back in now and she has Learner in slot 1 and Twincast in slot 2. I noticed the same behavior this morning when I first logged in from how I had it set yesterday. Seems aura slot 1 is not saving and just defaulting to Learner.

the only thing I can think of is maybe a AE type of mez when lots of mobs are coming in? idk if thats some thing thats gonna come out later or not...I know lots of stuff are still in the works.

I cant think of much really...its pretty awesome. Its fast and gets shit locked down fast. maybe faster on slow? or maybe I am not noticing it? lol

I cant find much wrong with it.....thats a first lol
 
@dontrootmebro That happens if you lack line of sight to the target and it's intended to allow you to cast on things you otherwise would not be able to cast on, such as mezing/charming a mob that you lack line of sight on. There's currently no way to disable it. Do you feel it's not working as intended as explained? If so, can you explain what it is doing that isn't expected.

AE type mezes are done. We're using targeted AE Mezes, at higher levels you use the targetring ae mez, if your targeted AE mez isn't of the target ring type then it can mez you also, so math is used to check that you're not inside the mez radius, and if you are it opts to skip down to using the non-targeted AE, next in line being a PBAE (isn't memorized by default) and then a single target mez is the last selection.

Slow is done after crowd control and tashing is complete. Between cast times, global cooldown etc it does sometimes take a little bit of time to get the slow out. to speed it up you can turn off tash, which will remove the cast time of tash, and the global cooldown from casting it.

But if things are dying faster than you can get the slow out with a tash, then it's probably safe to say that the slow can probably be disabled as you'd likely get a better "time to kill" and more benefit out of mana tapping dot, or pulmonary line (DD Dot) or a nuke.

It has line of sight, but always runs up to the mobs no matter what setting I change. I am not sure if it is something I should be doing different. I will play with it some more and see if there is ever a time that he doesn't.
 
Did a bad pull and formed a train... well that 's not a bad pull anymore with mq2enc, that's just more xp inc.... Awesome job both of you!!!!
 
Like the others have said this is an awesome job you guys thank you.

I giving it a work over cause I have 3 chanters for different groups, I have also noticed that it chain casts Strangling Air and Mind Helix on the current target even when they are still up on the mob, when I am using my 93 Chanter have not noticed it doing it on the others as of yet but have not used them as much since I have downloaded it.

The only reason I'm not sure about this is I like to pull trains in places like tofs and don't need my chanter turning the corner to mez and getting ran over. Other than that another amazing plug in from you guys. Thank you.

should only move if the mob distance is less than your camp radius
 
I never realized what a crappy Enchanter I was until MQ2 came out . I m kinda feeling like superhero , just wondering around in overthere

I dont even have to run around using invis now , like a chicken shit ....awesome, thanks guys
 
My Enchanter is memming my 107 charm , how can i change it to my 110 spell

I am level 110 and have the level 110 charm but mq2Enchanter keeps defaulting to my level 107 charm , if this clarifies more

With Usemelee turned off and Usestick turn off why is my Enchanter still running up to the mob and sticking to it in assist mode?
 
Is there any logic for the enchanter to stop trying to charm mobs that are uncharmable? Mine kept chain casting devisers command till the group switched to kill the giant in Kael.
 
I love everything this does except the dps. Using dots it should prioritize mind coil first its your highest dps dot you should be casting that preferably right away after slow/tash.
 
Loving it so far and have had no real problems I do have a couple suggestions/requests.

Toggle or a way to choose runes for either the group, or individual members. For example he casts tenebrous auspice constantly. For most applications I just don't feel like the benefit is worth the mana or the time he spends casting it so I'd like the option to turn it off. In the same vein, with kissassist I used the class modifier to have my enchanter keep crepuscular rune on the group while ignoring its presence on the tank. (obviously it hits the tank, but I only wanted him to recast it when it was off of other characters, as the tank is going to be losing it constantly)

This one is just for amusement, but maybe the ability to add an illusion clicky to hit the group with in the same way that a shrink clicky can be done? (I give my enc all of my illusion items. I just think it would be neat to be able to do /enc addclicky groupillusion to turn everyone into Queen Pyrilonis and keep them that way. Could also be used with spells maybe).

Regardless, thanks for the opportunity to try it. I'll be purchasing it as soon as possible and am looking forward to seeing it continue to evolve.
 
just noticed chanter is using Tenebrous Auspice instead of Crepuscular @115 is that right? Also, it seems to only cast it on pets? I've not done much testing yet. Disregard this if it's being fixed in the next patch. Awesome Plugin, very happy =-)

I can't speak for CWTN/Sic obviously, but Ten Auspice and Crepuscular are different purposes, not a direct upgrade. TA absorbs part of large hits, while Crepscular is a standard rune (any damage) with aggro reduction. I haven't noticed the "only pets" thing. I mainly see TA cast on my tank.

Auspice is only cast on tank classes.
Cresp rune isn't currently implemented into enchanter at this time.

MindXXX line is first dot used following a tash and slow assuming you're not burning. It's governed by DoTManaMin.

anyway it could be added? if not could prob run a macro to spit it out like kiss does....
everquest natively says when something breaks mez - which is what kiss is grabbing
you end up with a million different events that folks might want or not want depending on things

running a macro with doevents with your events you want to broadcast might be a simpler solution

Alternately you could setup MQ2Events to output whatever you want however you want and then it's in plugin format and not utilizing your only macro.
