- Welcome to NoS!
- Mission named mob names might be adjusted
- Raid named mobs aren't added yet if they differ from other mob names
- All the plugins should have all the new abilities
- There may end up being adjustments for spell lines that got a new combodot, or similar
-- or for things like the new progressive abilities (think shaman bp for duration)
-- we will adjust these things as the expansion unfolds.

Question: DashAA

Exactly what is considered a dashaa? i know it was speicifally stated if your class has one, but exactly what would it be under for warriors as an example? Thanks

Does this new change, for example, allow someone else to be MA while War does tank stuff instead of dps stuff?

Not sure I follow.

The overview pages of the plugins have a chart on when you do tank stuff.

If you are in a tanking mode or assigned as group main tank, you do tank type stuff.

Nothing has changed there.

Tank is going to grab a target and do tank stuff if they are in a tank mode

In Manual Mode, War only does tank stuff if specifically set as MA, if it's not MA then it runs a dps routine. I wondered if this has any impact on that?

no, unfortunately it doesn't.

which is what i said above

if you are not group maintank AND are not in a tanking mode - you will not do tanking stuff.

you need to be in some of them.

the above changes does not change any of that at all - the above changes allows you to disable the plugins setting you group main tank or group main assist or group puller if you are leader and in one of those roles. specifically for times like : using a tank merc and want to be in huntertank mode, but using a tank merc and it doesn't tank if you are group main tank

How does huntertank mode work? My solo (molo) BST doesn't hunt, he just sits. My expectation is that its suppose to run around a kill stuff. I tried adjusting the camp radius, but that is capped at a relatively short distance. Thanks in advance.

"Character is resting while waiting for valid targets or aggro".

UPDATE: Figured it out. It uses the puller settings tab, so you need to dial in the pull radius, Zhigh, Zlow, and arc settings for what you want.... also useful is the ignores tab for mobs you don't want to hunt.

Please see >>> Getting Started with CWTN plugins! (Movement, UI Window, Clickies, Pulling, ETC) Check Here First! <<<

Definitely check out the sticky and the guides.

The mq2war, and the "how I move my toons" videos go over pulling

I dunno if this needs to be a new thread. I doubt it, so I'm sticking it here. This is more of a QoL request, as we can all just make hotkeys for swapping settings during raids and what not. Is it possible to put something into the plugins that would let you save certain settings profiles? Kind of like BYOS setups, but for the toggles.

no, we currently have no plans for that.

what you would want to do is make yourself a .Lua or macro that would swap your settings to how you want them to be.

for many/most things there is also the nosave flag now so you can change them temporarily without relying on the window to do so.

but currently we don't have plans on adding settings loadouts at this time

Yeah, after seeing you talk about Lua, it makes more sense. Is the "no save" flag a different command that I need to read up on that I have just failed to do at this point? At the moment, I just make hotkeys that do a /cwtnra xxx toggle on, which requires me to turn them back to the off setting later (not a big deal) because it saves them to the ini.

yes the nosave is a different flag that you need to read up on. check the updates in cwtncommons, first add was like dec 27, and then there were more recently.

Well shit. There's already a lot of the stuff added. Guess I should actually read the updates more. Thanks!

ChatWithThisName updated MQ2CWTNCommons with a new update entry:

- Added the ability to designate certain discs to be fired while moving
-- this is useful and needed for things like escape/endregen combo for mq2rogue
- Added a "CheckPriorityTarget" option. this is defaulted true so no changes unless you turn it off
-- this is useful for things like gumdrops or other fights that you don't necessarily want to have to retarget off of the named everytime your target dies.
- We are no longer going to check for specific triggered effects (buffs)
-- this has the...
