MQ2Cleric

Plugin - MQ2Cleric (2 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

is it possible to make my boy sit between casts (during a fight or chain pulls)?
we will sit down in a mode with a camp (assist mode) or chase/vorpal based on MA/s sit/stand state - but we only do that with no mobs on xtarget - likely what you're asking for - no.

Did i understand it right... when i want to buff other players out of group i can turn on Xtargetbuffing. But when iam doing this my Cleric still wont cast buffs on Xtargets. have the Xtargets be a local character with mq2cwtnbuffs running?

Q. Why does my cleric not buff the group?
A. You will need to run /plugin mq2cwtnbuffs load on all of your characters that you would like mq2cleric to buff. You also need to NOT be in /clr byos on mode. As "Bring Your Own Spells" assumes you want to handle your spells and your buffs. MQ2CWTNBuffs requires characters to be local characters (same PC, not across network or space/time).

correct - you will buff your local pc characters who are on your xtarget if you have xtargetbuffing turned on. you will not buff non-local characters

ok thx... thought you can buff other non-local players without mq2cwtnbuffs running when Xtargetbuffs turn on. Thanks for clarification Sic :-D

so i have to do it manualy

is the Cleric using any HOT Healing spells? or i have to do a BYOIS for this? till lvl 110 not using any HOT Line Spells

Hey there, my Cleric is not using Puratus (70) to cure poisons. It will cast Radiant Cure and Word of Vivification to cure the same poison.

MQ2Cleric immediately unloads after loading. I see the UI flash for a second. Can't find any logs for it and nothing in any generic logs I can find. Nothing coming back in my search for a similar issue here. Everything updated as of today. What do?

MQ doesn't work on Truebox servers

MQ is not supported and does not work on Truebox servers. DarkPaw Games doesn't want multi-boxers, and we don't want to upset the official devs.

Other tools such as MySEQ and IonBC are available for truebox servers.

Are you forcing mq on a truebox server? Just know doing so you're likely tossing out any protections that mq is providing you to save you from yourself.

Mq isn't supported for truebox servers, nor are the plugins. The plugins are going to unload themselves

Is there an overwiev of all AA / spells which are automaticly using? dindt foud one till now..
The plugin says which spells it uses when the plugin loads.

As far as aas goes. It uses cleric aas :p we don't use things like divine aura, but we use just about everything else.

There is not a list, and no reason for one. Mq2cleric does cleric stuff

I am really enjoying this Plug In. I use it mostly in my grouping and it is great. I did notice though that recently my Cleric doesn't sit to med and it messes with MQ2 War for pulling. Is there a setting I missed or a command I need to enable?

We sit in camp modes (like assist mode) between fights.

In chase or vorpal we sit if the ma does.

Nothing has changed here

Is there a chance to have cleric not use intervention heals i/e pling a low lvl group the cleric just keeps getting the kills lol
a lot of ways.

adjust your iinterventionnotma heal value.
go byos and don't memorize it
use battlemode and don't be doing stuff where you're nuking/hitting the mob

Not sure I saw an answer to this so if I may with regards to

/clr ReportCast true/false/on/off/0/1 - Reports Spell Casts

Where does it report? I set this to on and was hoping that I would see a message in the MQ window on the tank when the cleric was healing anyone in the group but I did not see any broadcast message. The enchanter broadcasts mezzes and was wondering if the cleric could broadcast heals. I might have missed it so if I did I apologize in advance.

Be well. Happy gaming.

Reports to the mq2cleric window, or mq window if the mq2cleric window is closed

We don't broadcast anything (only mezzers broadcast).

There are no plans for that to change.

Thanks Sic. I guess because I just installed MQ2Clerics I was hypervigilant that the the little dorfie was doing his job. I believe I saw in one of your responses either in this thread or another CWTN Plugin thread that all the CWTN plugins will not sit to med in combat but will only sit to med if the MT sits. With that said, I have the little dorfster set to swing his mighty hammer. Words cannot express how humorous that site is when the pull is something along the lines of giant size.

Be well. Happy gaming.

Correct, they're not going to sit in combat

Hi all,

After wading through the first 22 pages, I thought I just might ask, so if this was discussed in the last 27 pages, I apologize.

If memory serves me, Sic mentioned in the video that MQ2Cleric was aggressive right out of the box. With that said at the level 70 area it seemed like my little guy was mana dumping on many fights. I started to adjust the healing thresholds, but never in my EQ life have I ever played a cleric, let alone box a cleric. Now mana usage seems better but I am worried he is not healing “properly”. At 72 I took the group to Oceangreen Hills and a lurker (75 or 76) spiked the SK into oblivion. I know my gear sucks and I have been flailing trying to find gear at level 72. I saw an old post from Sic (circa 2020) about TBM quests for gear but Quellious tells me I am too low.

Back to my cleric question. Does anyone have any recommendations for the healing % thresholds so that my dorfie doesn’t mana dump but where he can actually “anticipate” spikes and keep up?

Disclaimer: I realize some will say the settings are personal preference, but right now, I just need some guidance, so all opinions are good opinions.

Be well. Happy gaming.

Yup. They're all going to be personal need and preference. If your dude gets hit to 80 and that's cool, try moving it around there. If not healing him till 60s or 70s is too late, then in those 80s might be perfect.

This is going to be a "what meets your needs" one size isn't going to fit all in this instance - many folks (myself included) have done "zero to hero" out of the box without issue.

Don't forget to use a mount if you're static and just chilling.

Cc toon with mana Regen, food/drink, best clarity you can get etc otherwise yaulp

I'd also ensure you have appropriate AA and gear (including augs - especially on the sk) on both your sk and your cleric

Thanks Sic. I might need to uninstall and reinstall because right now I don’t remember the default settings. Mana regen is group clairvoyance from my enchanter. Everyone’s gear sucks and to be honest I think half the trouble I am having is weak gear.

Most of the gear guides I have seen here at RG talk about heroic toons and higher. My group is only level 72 so I feel like I am in no man’s land.

Afternoon All,

I made and levelled my Cleric to look after my group (War, Cler, Bard, Zerk, Rog, BL) - because running warrior and no SK epic/taps to help out.

My warrior is in full velium endowed and the rest of the group is in say waning or waxing.

I'm really disappointed in my cleric - I know he needs AA (The focus tab is being ground on as we speak) but I expected a level 120 cleric to be able to keep up my tank (530k hp 11200ac whilst dual wielding - more with shield) in the CoV Missions where there are lots of AoE's etc.

Long and short of it is, the DPS dies first, then he dies. I really thought clerics would be the best for the "group". Looking at the spell line up, it appears that he doesnt use many group heals - should I have picked a shammy? I find myself removing my BL from the group, to add a maxxed merc cleric to do some of the missions.

Is it simply the AA on the Cleric - increase and update? Feeling slightly deflated, lol.

have you filled up your class and archetype AA's for healing LONG before you worry about focus? Have you taken the time to get your cleric his 2.0 (trust me it still comes in handy with those dots that eat away at your group radiant cure, purify soul, group purify soul. is he geared appropriately with focus effects.

no clerics do fine.

if your dps are getting smoked by aoes first, they might not have enough hps - if you're rocking 0 augs, they're going to struggle with some of the CoV aoes - it sounds like your cleric is doing its best but the missions might be above your gear/aa threshold.

you definitely need AAs on the cleric - as you mentioned the focus tab, they're not purely linear, you are missing out on A LOT by not having relavant and matching AAs for the spells you use.

you definitely want to ensure you are augging your team

rolling into 115/120 content with conflagrant gear and no/incomplete augs and missing AAs is going to hugely impact you (as a broad example).

the AA thing is a huge problem. you can't just skip everything to 120 and wonder why you can't do anything. like showing up to WWIII with a water pistol

make sure you get your 2.0 on your cleric as well

also understanding specifically *what* is killing you is important. one of the CoV missions, for example, your healer will often be the one on rampage, and it is hard for cleric to keep others alive if they're struggling to heal themselves

but this definitely sounds more like a generic cleric question than an mq2cleric question.

I would also take a look at your settings, see if you changed anything you don't want to be that way, and adjust your settings as you need them.

Sorry if this question has been answered before. I tried using search and didnt seem to find an answer. Is it possible to setup MQ2Cleric to heal the MA from outside of the group?

there is a thread, just add them to XTAR and enable XTAR heals is the quick answer...

Howdy dred

Easy peasey, turn on xtarget healing, /clr usextargethealing on add the toon you want to your xtarget window (slot doesn't matter) and it will heal your xtarget members at the nonma heal values - nothing else to configure or messaround with - very simple and straight forward, will be doing xtar goodness in no time flat.

re: searching and not finding the answer - the sticky is the best place to start with
Please see >>> Getting Started with CWTN plugins! (Movement, UI Window, Clickies, Pulling, ETC) Check Here First! <<<

it'll explain how each plugin has a command tab and a FAQ tab

and this is answered in the FAQ which is a good 1st place to look if you have a question and aren't just looking for a command

Q. Do I need to assign what Xtargets to watch for XTargetHealing?
A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetHealing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then heal them at the respective nonMA heal value.

and in the > mq2cleric video at 13:22 < in case hearing it explained is better for you

good luck; happy healing!

Hey everyone,

So I have read the FAQ and realized that MQ2Cleric and the rest of the lines don’t work properly if the party is split up across multiple machines.

Unfortunately, I do have a party that is often composed of 3 different PCs being involved with me running 2 additional characters.

Is there any way to get healing done for the other members of the group? Is there any way to get the plug-in run PCs to assist the MA (on another pc) in combat?

Thanks in advance!

it is just buffing

healing doesn't care about if they are local or not (unless that heal is a hot or something else with a buff component.)

they also assist the group assigned MA, they don't care if the MA is on the moon, another computer, manual, kiss, your dog, etc

also please ensure to post mq2cleric questions into the mq2cleric thread

and entire discussion thread surrounding your question is unnecessary :p

but yeah they heal based on your group information, not if the toons are local or not
