MQ2Cleric

Plugin - MQ2Cleric (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Sic updated MQ2Cleric with a new update entry:

Jan-17-2022

Some of these already were active, now that RG is building directly, we should be able to keep update notes updated.

MQ2Cleric -
- low lvl rez adjustment
- - If you have no means to rez, then we won't continue to check and wait on those bodies

- Added "DIAll" option
-- When you have UseDivineIntervention on, you can use DIAll to "keep divine intervention on everyone" and not just the MA, yourself,
-- and the puller. It will still look at the MA, then...

shouldnt be DL and extracting yourself? the patcher handles all that? once purchase, it will populate in the *plugins* section. very first time, it will have a red install under it. after that, will show update whenever its patched.

However, if you have the in game window, that means its already installed, since the gui is part of the package? Sic, CWTN or one smart bubbas here can expound on that.

please use the redguides launcher.

it will download and place your files in the correct location

you appear to be using the old legacy mq2 - which means you need to wait on the sync for the license. you also can't just slap the MacroQuest file into your macroquest2 legacy installation

you should 100000000000% not use legacy mq2

It is OFFICIAL! MacroQuest is the version of MacroQuest that we offer here at RedGuides.

You will see this with "MacroQuest - Live" in the RG Launcher.

Please, check out this link: >>> Functions & Features Demo + Migration to the new MacroQuest<<<

mental notes:
1. mq2map click is Control+Shift+Click
2. new easyfind self travel is Control+Click (reminder in find window title bar)
3. new easyfind group travel is Control+Shift+Click
4. If you selected a destination in your zone guide and want to activate it you /travelto activate
5. /yes and /no are now aliases, there is no mq2yes plugin

also please ensure you help yourself get the best ouf of the plugins by checking out the info sticky

Lots of reasons to summon before rez, biggest is being rezed right on top of a mob and get smacked hard again and dying.
The other reason being that when rezzed it'll reset the camp location, since people have died, dragged a corpse to another location in the zone and then rezzed without changing the mode of the one receiving the rez, which would then make them run back to their "camp" location. causing a train and then resulting in death.

As such, rezzing in place would reset the camp location to the rez location, causing the camp to be far from group members. resulting in ... undesired results.

That's true, there is value in summoning. However, in a raid you have multiple clerics summoning corpses and you see corpses jumping from cleric to cleric, very undesirable and also makes it (almost) obvious you're running mq2.

both are valid points @Butters maybe a if in raid mode dont /corpsdrag, but even then, i dont want a mofo getting rezzed across the engagement area.. i manage this by popping over and rezzing the bouncing corpse... bot logic isnt human logic, doubt its worth changing.. i run bot team raids, so we all know its a bot.. if your using it on hand jam raids.. well.. either live with bot actions or dont run it? sounds harsh, but its a tool.. dont want it to act like one dont use it =-/

I would advise not to use automation in a raid if you're not supposed to.

or turn off rezzing if you don't want to drag and then rez.

Hi, just got this and its awesome but had 1 question I couldn't find answered, is there any way to get it to splash more often? Basically want to it cast splash every time its up or at least more when lots of people take damage and was wondering if there is a way to do that. Thanks!

No there isn't.

It casts spash when it needs to, or when it had twincast

Also, I assume you're using memsplash option and not just byos, to ensure you get the ability for pairing with twincast, make sure you have it setup so it can nuke to get the twincast

Clerics who want to rely on splash make me . I'm assuming, based on your post, that you're using mq2cleric on a raid. The cleric's job is to keep tanks alive. It's the shaman's job to keep everyone else alive. Sure, you can throw out a splash when the big AOE dot happens, but, in general, clerics should have all the tanks on their xtarget window and be spamming single target heals on whomever isn't at full health.

That said, there is something important to understand about CWTN plugins: CWTN plugins play your class the way that CWTN thinks the class should be played. You simply need to sit back and let the plugin do it's thing and not get too hung up on the details of how it does it's job. Play around with the few customization options that it has, but understand that that you're trading versatility for out-of-the-box ease of setup. If you want automation that offers a plethora of configurability options to support a unique or niche playstyle, you'll have to go elsewhere.

Loving the plugin, as always. Random suggestion . How about an ignore list for cures? I find that my cleric wasting time on curing things that I would prefer that he didn't do anything about. It'd be nice to be able to specify that (similar to the ignore list for pulling)

afraid not. Ignore lists are cumbersome to create, especially with window options, if something needs curing, it's going to cure assuming cures are on.

Hi All,
How can I instruct my cleric to sit and med between battles whenever possible? I notice he stands all the time, and haven't found the correct instruction yet in the commands table.

Many thanks

Hello ciddan,

Please make sure to post in the appropriate section.

If you want to return to camp and sit down, you would use mode 1, assist mode.

Definitely make sure to check out the cwtn info sticky stuff

Please see >>> Getting Started with CWTN plugins! (Movement, UI Window, Clickies, Pulling, ETC) Check Here First! <<<

> MQ2Cleric Commands <
Mode:
/clr mode - Manual|Assist|Chase|Vorpal 0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8
Has access to all of the CWTN plugin "Modes"
(Only difference for cleric in manual or an assist mode is it will only break invis if it has a camp set - so manual mode will not break invis to heal)
Mode 0 - Manual --- Manual
Mode 1 - Assist --- assist your MA and returns to camp
Mode 2 - ChaseAssist --- chases and assists your MA
Mode 3 - Vorpal Mode (Assist but no camp or chase)
Mode 4 - Tank --- tank stuff
Mode 5 - PullerTank --- pull and then tank
Mode 6 - Puller Assist pull and then assist MA
Mode 7 - SicTank Mode --- sets a camp, and does tank stuff, but doesn't return/sit down
Mode 8 - Hunter Tank mode --- runs around and kills stuff

Question on the DIALL - I noticed CWTN said about the plugin CWTNbuffs "They do have to run on the local machine in order for the CWTNBuffs plugin to be read by the buffing player."

So, there is no way to DIALL if I use a separate PC that has all my DPS toons?

correct. local toons on local pc.

eventually that will change, but as of now, all buffing (outside of alliance) requires local pc

Hey Sic, was wondering if its possible to add the ability to anchor a cleric/caster in a spot. Would be handy for several raids so they can do their thing from a distance.... hoping this isn't a stupid request :)

/clr campradius 200. And use melee off. Put them in vorpal mode.

no, but you can /clr gotocamp if you need to return to your camp spot while you're fighting

I also assume that means cures as well. At least that is what I have observed.

I use alot of clerics on raids. I have some that I keep with me in my team which are on chase. Then I have some in other teams which I use chase and raid mode if we need to move. If we get to stay put like alot of ToL raids I use assist. You need to have assist so it sets a camp and all your events and lulas work for emotes.

You can try the /rootme command, just don’t forget it if you want to move or get summoned/flung

Rootme just makes it so your wasd key and movement doesn't do anything. It doesn't make your toon not get moved

I would not use rootme and just assist mode and just never use come to me or follow me on raids. That way your cleric can be in raid mode to rez raiders and events/lula scripts work. All of them require the cleric to have a camp to run back to at the end of the script.

Is there a command to set the values for Divine Arb and the Cleric 2.0? Or, a way to enable / disable to have your own react do the work? When there are multiple clerics in the same group I don't want all the things to fire at the same time

no there isn't

I may change it so the "Oh Shit MA Is Gonna Die" health value is adjustable it is used for epic, DA, and BoL, but not at this time.

What's the current coded threshold for the DA / Epic? And it only checks MA but not other members in group correct?
50 and for the oh shit ma value, yes,

but both epic and da are used for group heal checks as well, and no those aren't adjustable and it is unlikely they will be
