MQ2Cleric

Plugin - MQ2Cleric 3.1.52471.11

how do I shut off my MQ2Cleric from using ward of purity AA? I have cures off but its still dropping the ward
the burn usage of ward of purity i didn't have the usecures check (which it should have).

so i'll update that

Just bought this a month or so ago, but still haven’t figured out how to stop the cleric from being a battle cleric /melee doesn’t work for me
howdy @erikbloodaxe,

/melee isn't a slash command for mq2cleric - but you can adjust your usemelee setting and have it saved.

All of the commands can be "saved" by using the slash command.

This is explained in the CWTN UI Video > HERE <

you can save your usemelee by using /clr usemelee off

Both of these things are also items in the > FAQ <

Q. The UI Window Doesn't save my settings?
A. This is intentional. The UI acts as a "hot swap" allowing you to adjust on the fly. If you want to "save" your settings, adjust it with the slash command.
Explained here > UI Video @ 9:10 <

Q. My Cleric is meleeing in assist mode - I only want to heal.
A. /Clr UseMelee off

If you're curious where to find the commands they are located on the commands tab of the resource > HERE <
but most items should make sense from what you see in the window:
- usemelee? /clr usemelee
- useretort? /clr useretort
etc.

is there a place i can temporarily fix the issue with the AA curing with cures off? Ive had that ward mess up two raids now.
no. tomorrow is patch day (its already pushed here, just need update to hit for a rebuild of VV)

if somehow you're raiding between then and now - I'd suggested manually using it before you start the encounter as its a 20+ min reuse

Sorry about the woes :(

Odd bug happened today: I had the cleric set on battlemode, nuke, melee. Mode 2. I engaged named. She rapid fired spammed the cleric BP on the named. I had to turn off mq2cleric to get her to stop. I have the BP as a burn clicky but why would she spam the named with it? Or maybe she was so fast it just 'looked' like she was spamming the named instead of swapping quickly to the tank and back. I manually targeted the tank, clicked the BP then restarted mq2 cleric but by then the fight was over (Zland burn).

Ideas?

Hi Boring,

Sic created a ticket for this a while back and we planned to address things like the cleric BP in an overhaul of the clicky logic. However, it's going to be just that, an overhaul. So we've not got to that item on our list specifically at this time. This is currently expected behavior and until we've implemented the logic to handle this, and various other clicky situations I can only recommend that you look into a react for this specific situation and hope that it doesn't conflict with what the cleric plugin is doing.

yeah what this means is you cant currently use a clicky that requires "someone else" as a target - like cleric bp, for example

Since the February patch every time I log in any cleric, the Plugin window is gone. Typing /clr show brings it back up, but it's moderately annoying. What resets this so that it shows up every time? I've tried /reload ui, unloading/reloading plugin, closing the window and restarting it. Nothing seems to stick. I saw nothing in the mq2cleric ini's to force the window to show up. It's only my clerics, the other classes load their window just fine.

nope, nothing special I just verified on multiple clerics it appears as expected.

not sure what you could have done to make this not load the window

Sorry 31 pages was a bit too long for me to read thru so if this was asked already i apologize. When will the raid cleric load Divine Consequence instead of Divine Response which was a much lower spell. Cleric is 115..... also How do we tell it to not use Interventions? I did read over the choices and did not see it but I might have missed it. Maybe BYOS guess I will have to not be lazy and test that...

They each have an option.

if you have useconsequence it will use that, if you have useresponse you will use that - if you have both you will use both.

you can use battlemode if you want contraventions instead of interventions - or byos if you want to use something else

Hi Team,
Did a quick search and didn't see anything resembling this. Since the last update my clerics keep overwriting Ancient Aego from my one cleric that has the Ancient spell. Any thoughts on how to stop it? (I play on TLP so might only be a lower level spell problem)

if you don't have usesymbol on (meaning you want to do aegolism) and you're missing it, and mq2 reports that you can receive the buff and it stacks with what you have, we're going to cast it.

you're going to either need to a: block either one of the buff, b: go byos and handle your own buffs, or c: you can turn usesymbol on and it won't do aego stuff (and ideally mq2 shouldn't say that you CAN have symbol on top of ancient aego)

Riz-TLP: When I check the box for UseNuke my cleric refuses to load a nuke. She just loads all of her heals and yaulp (because I have useyaulp turned on). If I uncheck useyaulp with usenuke turned on, and unload that spell from slot 6, it reloads yaulp into that spell gem instead of a nuke. Also, could we have a toggle button for 'useundeadnuke' and 'useundeaddot'?

I've mentioned a couple times there will be a nuke revamp sometime in the future - but i don't have a time table for that.

for now, use nuke just means "if i have a nuke memorized AND im in melee combat do the nuke"

It will be unlikely - outside of a few circumstances - that we will be memorizing nukes automatically - you will utilize byos if you want to load up a spell set with nukes in in

I have a good portion of it done - but its a large overhaul, so again, no timetable on it.

I've noticed that in a raid, even with burn toggled off, I click all my heal burns, spire, etc at the first opportunity. Is there any way to NOT auto spam (and as such, completely waste) all the cleric healing burn AAs? They should be rotated and not all used at once.
A response of "keep the plugin paused" isn't really an answer!

well more than likely, you didn't adjust settings correctly like your burncount

you will burn if you:

issued a burnnow
burnalways is on and you have xtargets
burnallnamed and you have named on your xtarget
or number of xtargets >= burncount

And in a raid event, the boss is always considered a named, so the plugin is always going to blow its load at the start of the event. I suppose the answer is to uncheck burnalways, burnallnamed, set burncount=69 and then manually issue /burnnow commands.

I have burn / burnalways turned off. Untoggled, set to 0. Should it still be burning in a raid scenario all willy nilly if I turn it off?

I am not trying to be difficult, maybe I just don't understand the way burn / burn off works.

i listed the circumstances that you burn.
let me list them again.

its not willy nilly if your xtargets >= your burn count.

if you do not wish to burn based on xtarget count - you can adjust your xtargetcount to a number higher than the number of xtarget slots available like @Many_Whelps suggested earlier

/clr burncount 99
since you don't have enought xtarget slots to accomodate 99 mobs, you will never burn based on xtargetcount

So if the default number of targets being 5, and you have 6 on extended target, you're going to burn no matter what even if you have burning turned off.
Is there a max setting to xtarget burning? Can I then set it to 99 to avoid unwanted burning of literally all healing abilities at once?

Thanks. I'll have to throw that in to have a bit of of manual control, so as to not burn through all abilities in the first 30 seconds. ;)

Hi, Folks -

I took a small hiatus when my internet was out from Oct - last week, but am back up and running. Everything's patched, and seems to be up and running. Unfortunately, my CWTN plug ins have decided to function "almost" correctly. Primarily, buffs have become an issue. Cleric/BST won't buff the group, unless I click off their own buff and they re-cast the group version. CWTNBuffs plugin is running on all instances, I am not using BYOS, and I've gone as far as deleting the plugins and repatching VV.

Thoughts? Help!

same as always (as in nothing has really changed)

have to be local characters (same PC), in the same macroquest2 install, running mq2cwtnbuffs not using byos, and in group (unless in raid with raidmode turned on, or on xtarget with xtarget buffing turned on).

nothing more to it that than really.

All of that is true on my machine. Kind of why I'm at a loss.

we check for buffs very frequently.

I would double-check you don't have something weird going on like your antivirus locking files in your mq2 install or something weird holding up the mq2cwtn buffs file

Thanks Sic.

I'm not sure what's going on. At the moment, antivirus is off, windows defender is off. I guess I'll try a clean install of RG/VV

for anyone curious and following along

we have some "stale buff" validation of around 10-15 seconds, and for some reason it is taking over 30 seconds for psatty's buffs to be updated.

McAffee is going buck wild - so we're going to start there.

Psatty ran out of time tonight, but we're going to meet back up in a day or two and see if we can get it fixed

First and foremost, a huge thank you to Sic and crew for trouble shooting with me for over an hour last night.

After a bunch of work on their side, and a reboot....everything works as intended this morning. /shrugs.

Thanks again for all the help!

Hey Sic, me again. I convinced my wife to install redguide so we can interact when one of us is afk. She plays a raid cleric (since 2002) and she had a few questions/concerns/recommendations however you want to take them.

1. It doesn't load any group heal over time spells, is this by design? She said this is one of her primary heals
2. When she logs on, she always summons her weapon (Hammer of Obliteration) it's stats are better than most in game, would be nice to have this as an option.
3. It doesn't load auras. There are 2 key auras, one provides 27k hps.
4. Why does it load 2 group heals? The group heal "Word of Greater Replenishment" is insta recast, so not sure why it would have 2 loaded
5. It puts DI on her and MA, but not MT. Why is MT not the priority?

She said she would love to give more feedback if you want it, you may not want it!

When we make changes (to any of the mq2ClassSpecific) settings window, when I relog later none of those are saved. Is there a save feature I need to do? Also wish MQ2 in general would save its window locations, but thats another story

1. yes it is by design.
2. if you don't have anything equipped it already automagically does that if you have SummonHammer turned on
3. yes it does auras.
4. because that is the spell loadout.
5. that's just a continuation of how most stuff is done in the boxing/automation world - that the MA is the MT and that's what we do those types of buffs and such on.

When we make changes (to any of the mq2ClassSpecific) settings window, when I relog later none of those are saved. Is there a save feature I need to do? Also wish MQ2 in general would save its window locations, but thats another story
this means you haven't taken the time to familiarize yourself with any of the documentation and information available to you.

you can start here > getting-started-with-cwtn-plugins< if you want to just read
or here is the video

I would recommend taking a peak at that, and familiarizing yourself with the commands tab, and the FAQ tab as will undoubtedly have things you didn't even know you had.

the "saving setting" is something that is addressed in the CWTN UI Settings Information video, as well as the first item on every single FAQ for the cwtn class plugins.

Suggested watch order: UI Vid -> any class-specific video -> moving your toons guide
(i go over pulling in the moving toons vid, the mq2war vid, and the mq2eskay vid).

CWTN UI Vid
MQ2Berzerker Vid
MQ2Cleric Vid
MQ2Enchanter Vid
MQ2Eskay Vid
MQ2Monk Vid
MQ2Rogue Vid
MQ2Shaman Vid
MQ2War Vid
Sic's Moving Toons and Hotkeys Vid

I'm now having the same problem with unfied hand of righteousness any thing will help thanks sic, i have been running BOYS to stop it spamming

I have read a ton, but I am new to all of this and jumped head first. Thanks for being patient, I will read that now.
