Plugin - MQ2Cleric (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

On Rizlona (only here) my level 2 cleric will not chase and will not domelee unless I initiate combat manually.
It’s grouped with an enchanter who I have set as MT, MA, and Puller for testing purposes.
This issue went away after relogging. I think it was because the characters started out in different /picks and never quite syched up. It was daytime for one and night for the other so I think it was an eq issue and not a plugin issue.
 
I know shes still under development but every once in awhile spell book will stay open and cleric stops casting, and if this happens to happen during combat rip

The only time I have that happen is when I'm trying to do something manually and I end up fighting with the plugin.

It's bad at realizing my tank just got ressed and needs Aego, but if I click Aego off on the cleric, he'll memorize the group version and cast.

That is a failure of kissbuffs on your tank properly loading your tanks info. Common on rez.

If u reloaded kissbuffs on ur tank etc, and kissbuffs correctly populated it would buff as its supposed to.

Why is kissbuffs being utilized if it has so many problems?

One thing that would be awesome, since the cleric is battle ressing, would be to battle buff Aego as well. It's hard enough to tank without endurance/mana after a ress, if my dumb KA tank was too slow on pull/incoming to hit a defensive disc, or over-eager melee DPS failed an evade/feign/etc. I do understand that buffing routines occur during downtime, but it's one of the things I would do as a real person playing the cleric.
 
overall great plugin, only question. I would like to run my cleric out of group and heal/buff 6 box group via extended target. any existing ways to do that well? i tried and it wasn't really doing buffs via extended target. also i guess would need to be able to identify a MA in absence of group or raid option.

the xtargethealing works great - you can assign your targets to xtarget, and then turn on xtarget healing and the heal value to heal them at - it will heal and rez them - the regular buff checks are group only, however
 
This plugin works great it has healed my group so far very well up to 30! The only issue I have is when I have a non boxed char in my group such as my friends or my wife, the cleric will just cast bravery repeatedly on them until OOM. As a workaround I removed bravery from my spell gems and turned on byos. What is the preferred method of handling chars not running on the same system? Right now as soon as I mem the spell she starts spam casting it on the player I am not controlling. Is there a way to disable the bravery line of spells from being cast completely? I have usehand, usesymbol, and useRetort all set to false.

My lvl 100 cleric chain casts Rallied Bastion of Vie spell, and it getting blocked by Bastion of Vie Rk. II that I have. I guess I should upgrade to Rk 2 of the group spell to fix? but seems like that could be an issue with group / single buffs.

2 things.
all the buff stacking checks are exactly the same - so it is one of two things - it is most likely a kissbuffs issue - where the line for the buffs exists but it is not updated --- I would double check that (a common suggested in this thread since mq2kissbuffs acts up all the damn time) - you can reload mq2kissbuffs, or click off a few buffs on the person being spammed and it *should* stop acting up

you can also just /clr usevie off if you don't want to use it (for situations like this)

the other possibility is we have found a couple (couple being a very very small) number of buffs that mq2/eq "thinks" they stack but they don't depending on "who" is asking - this is probably unlikely, as we have other checks. (again this one is pretty unlikely)


if this started happening after getting a rez - it is more than likely a mq2kissbuffs issue

well despite all the other checks we do, it still checks to see if it "stacks" meaning it thinks it will overwrite - so this might be an issue worth looking into deeper thanks for the follow up - i'll see what i can do to reproduce it and investigate

Seems to be since HealsHeals was introduced

the group heals stuff is still the same - we did make improvements to the single heals to be more responsive and aggressive - so you're likely just seeing that

the dissident upon zoning has always been there - it is due to when you zone the game thinks you have 0 health and 0 mana for a while =p

I recommend moving the Ward of Righteousness line to where Hand of Will is, and using that 13th slot as general buff swapping, keeping Aego up as the preference and first buff that should be on anyone that's ressed.

It only checks and then memorized to use hand if you have usehand turned on and you are lower than lvl91 to do spell casting.

the reason it is memorizing this is because you don't have the dissident/dicho line of spells, and have UseHand turned on, and I needed something to toss in there, and I didn't put in the lvl restriction, because I couldn't imagine someone just not getting those abilities.

I would recommend just going and getting your spells - especially before telling me how to do stuff =p

and btw, either you turned off divineintervention of you're in byos for seventeenth to be in that slot

I am having a problem with the window, it was working before patch and now I am getting a UI error and it is opening up but completely blank. I honestly do not even remember where I got the MQUI_BerzerkerWnd.xml from but I am guessing it has been updated and I don't have the newest one?
 
There's a small issue with cleric melee.

/clr DoMelee true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you want to melee
The command in-game is actually /clr usemelee -- domelee does not exist.

However when setting it to 0/false/etc, and unloading/reloading the plugin, the option is checked as enabled again.
The .ini file states: DoMelee=true -- despite me having just turned usemelee to off with the command, not the checkbox toggle.

There seems to be a disconnect between the in-game command and what the .ini file is using.
I set the .ini to 'false', unloaded/reloaded the plugin, and now the option is off.
 
Regarding Clicky healthgroup:

I noticed a note in the 4/26 update about setting an item, such as the epic 2.0, as a Clicky item with the healthgroup tag: "AddClicky options ManaGroup, ManaSelf, HealthGroup, and HealthSelf were added."

Somewhere along the way I set both the Epic2.0 and the Weighted Hammer of Conviction (casts Supernal Remedy every 3.5 minutes) as healthgroup clickies.
Clicky1=Weighted Hammer of Conviction|healthgroup
Clicky3=Aegis of Superior Divinity|healthgroup

However it's chain-casting the items with myself as a target, even when I am ungrouped, Mode 0, idling in PoK. I don't recall it doing this prior to the most recent update.

is the healthgroup tag still applicable? It still lists in the printout.

the plugin does use the aegis, I wouldn't add it to just automatically use it --- looking at the code, it appears there might be a mistake (would have to talk to chat, I haven't used the function, or looked at the code).


re: the melee thing - like the video i posted a day or two ago about the plugins/ui - everything is now use_blah including mq2cleric and specifically usemelee. the commands just need to be updated.

yeah some stuff is patched internally but not patched in our live dist yet. so until it is, it is still "doxtargethealing" for the command --- next time we push it will be use (same as the other stuff i mentioned)
 
Ok, I got a new problem. All of a sudden cleric, in all her blueberry wisdom, has decided that pets (edit: just one particular pet) MUST have Confidence (level 66) on them even though the spell is useless and stacks with nothing. She has never cast that spell before but now she insists on pets having it even if it never lands.

gonna need some more information.

What lvl are you?

is it memorizing confidence on its own, or do you have it memorized?

what happens when it casts - are you getting a red stacking message, or is the spell landing and just recasting?

Cleric is level 111, the pet she is casting on is a level 111 chanter pet and she is unmemming "Word of Greater Restoration" to mem Confidence. On this particular pet (just that pet she won't do it to other pets) it doesn't matter if it is blocked, lands, doesn't land or is already on the pet she just keeps casting it. I had chanter suspend pet and make a fresh one and the second the pet showed up she loaded up Confidence and started chain casting it, even with the spell blocked she kept on casting it. It might be a glitch specific to me but I have no idea how to fix it. I have had both characters zone, both reload have loaded and unloaded MQ2kissbuffs and MQ2Cleric as well.

all the buff checks use the same functions to check stuff - currently we're not able to check pet's blocked buffs - but if the pet HAS the buff or doesn't stack it should be ignored (of if their portion of kissbuffs isn't loaded it will ignore it also).

this is only on the enchanter pet? let me see if i can replicate

Looks like it might have been a temp glitch on my side, had both zone out at the same time and zone back in and she stopped wanting to cast it. Don't know what made her chain cast that particular spell in the first place but it seems to have stopped.

ok, I think i see how this could happen.

our group check only checks pets for single target spell, because we're assuming the group spells will go on them after casting on the group, so what is likely happening is the rest of the group is getting your group aego, and then your pet is getting summoned later, and we're tossing the ST hpbuff lol

let me get with @ChatWithThisName and see if we did that pet buff check specifically that way for a reason - if we didn't, its an easy fix

as far as spamming it - absolutely no clue on that :(

ok so there WAS a reason it was ST only, and likely stay that way for at least the time being - but looking into options

Observation / Bug Report for MQ2Cleric
(hope this is the right place to report?)

Version from UI: MQ2Cleric compiled Jun 17 2020 154252

observation: Cleric is chain casting "Valor" onto the MA/MT Warrior, and disregarding the red failure response from a druid spell block.
"Your Valor spell did not take hold on Warrior. (Blocked by Skin like Nature.)"
"Your spell would not have taken hold on your target"


Setup: Both characters involved are in the group, same computer with MQ2 and EQBCS. The cleric, MQ2Cleric and the warrior KissAssist.
The SLN buff was delivered by a "drive by" high level druid giving away buffs to lowbies.

When the druid gave these buffs, the group was made but I was still setting up. The cleric might have been mode 0.
It was a little while later whilst warrior was hunter mode, and the cleric operating mode 2, I noticed the cleric chain casting. At first I thought it was re-buffing the group generally.

It was only when i saw the plugin output panel from MQ2Cleric, repeated lines of this statements:
"[MQ2Cleric]:: Casting ~~> Valor on Warrior"

Workaround: Regretfully, I cleared the SLN buff from the warrior and everything works normal after.

Extra: I've noticed a few casts of 'Yaulp II' and 'Wrath', appear between the 'Valor' spam. So the cleric is "battle cleric" like a paladin wannabe. The solid wall of spam comes when the group is on downtime, not fighting and waiting either for mobs or some regens to happen. Thankfully, the cleric isn't fixated on "must buff" and ignoring all else!

I just love the battle cleric.

That Valor problem is like the one I had with Confidence, same spell line just Valor is lower level and they were both acting the same way.
