Plugin - MQ2Bst 3.1.52471.11

ok i run the mq2 bst and there are times when my bst runs back and forth or is constantly moving side to side. ive also grouped with another person that runs some of the other plugins rogue sk sham and his rogue just bounces all over like its in a pinball game is there a way to fix this other then clicking back on that screen? how wont run that toon outside of instances cause hes afraid of someone seeing this and reporting him.

it is almost certainly either a: you have follow me stuck on or b: you have not set up MQ's framelimiter and are screwing yourself out of your boxing potential.

if you are using eq's in-game "run my background toons at 0 frame per second and i hate good performance" you will have behavior like that

if you're watching all 3 at the same time, it definitely doesn't sound like you're using framelimiter to its potential

since you're not, i would suggest at least checking your alt-o everquest options and ensure you have at least 30 set for your min background fps - and not minimum.

unless you're running some other automation on top - this is the most likely reason for the things you described

I would also point out that helping your friend through you isn't something we're going to be doing. I recommend having your friend post if they need assistance.

Regardless of how many monitors you have or how many EQ windows are visible, Windows (the OS) will only consider one window to be in focus at any given time, whichever window has input control. The other windows will be "background" even if they are visible on another monitor. This is just how Windows works.

I was having this same problem after an EQ reinstall and finally realized that it always went away when I put focus on the screwy character, which reminded me I hadn't set background FPS.

You really do not need to see the movement, if everything is setup properly. I run a 6 box, and only one is on focus. My other 5 path perfectly, do their stuff, and no one is the wiser.

Please make sure to check the faq.

Many/most focus spells cast sub spells, so you have to block whatever the conflicting subspell is specifically.

If this doesn't do subspells, make sure you are blocking the specific rank of the specific spell

Or can turn off usefocus if you don't want to cast the focus spell at wll

I did check the FAQ before posting, Focus of Klar doesn't have a sub spell that I see... Like the necro spell Darkside has a sub spell for the illusion. This also just started doing this after updating to the RKII version.

No that doesn't show the blocked spell is the rank ii. It says rank ii is part of a version already blocked. We check your blocked buffs *specifically* for what is blocked and don't imply anything else that eq might.

I suspect that you don't have rank ii as the blocked spell which is why I said what I said and then asked to show me specifically :p

Unblock the rank I and block the rank ii

DIsregard, that was a Pain in the... I had to strip all the buffs off necro, remove the original block and allow the spell to land and use the spell window to get it to block it

You can click off the blocked buff in the blocked window, then type in the name in the bar you showed with the button that says add by name but glad you sorted it out

Scenario: 120 Beastlord and 115 Beastlord in the same group.

Question: Is there a way for the 115 Beastlord to recognize that a lvl 120 beast buffs are on and for the 115 beastlord not to keep trying to attempt buffing when the higher level buffs are already buffed?

yup the mq2bst resource has a discussion thread, was only a couple posts down

it is an mq/eq stacking issue and/or a situation that says "we're missing xyz buff and it stacks with what we have"

please refer to the faq about spells/buffs

if you're asking if there is a "click this button so the mq/eq stacking fixes itself" no unfortunately not. We try and handle everything we can automatically

just byos on the lower lvl one, or have your toons block the spells that the lower one would cast.

I'm assuming you're in a pulling mode?

if your pet is pathing in a way that it ends farther than your campradius away from you, we call it off because we assume there is a pathing or some other issue where it may cause a mob to not be inside your camp

but yup, this is intentional behavior - eq pathing for pets is stupid and we try and ensure they're on the mob, fighting the mob, where we want them to be doing those things

all the cwtn plugins have vibrant, robust, and active discussion threads.

there is no need for an entire thread about asking about sow

since it is a spell that you don't have, and mq/eq says it stacks, it is going to cast it. you can either block spirit of the wolf, or use the option on your bst to turn it off.

you can turn off using sow on your bst.

/bst UseSow - true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets to use SoW line

for a buffing conflict like that, i would personally just turn it off on the bst

I have f2p beastlord that will target his warder and chain cast Group Shrink at default settings. This persists when i turn off PetShrink and only stops when i turn off GroupShrink or use regular shrink (Alt 689) on the warder. I haven't krono'd him yet and so he doesn't have Diminutive Companion.

Edit: mq2shaman is also doing this to the same warder when grouped. Could it be a problem with Iksar warders in particular? I don't remember having this happen on my ogre's warder but i typically have auto group shrink off.

We check against height, so if they got bugged and are larger than they should be, or are in an illusion larger than they should be we would keep trying to shrink them.

Eq has some bugs where shrink can grow things instead.

Turn off shrinking if you don't want to shrink them - unfortunately spawns don't tell us if they have more shrinkableness, which is why we don't double shrink pets

you can also just add your pet ear to downtime clickies and turn off other shrinking.

Brownie pet illusion and pet ear are great combos AND you can still see if your pet has weapons

Yeah, it was an easy fix to just turn it off which is what i wanted to do anyway. The issue though is that both shm and bst are trying to use the 'Group Shrink' AA on the warder. This AA doesn't work on pets at all.

I clicked off the "offending" buff on the second and he just moved to the next in line.

Unsure if intended - My shm in group had on him. The BL- was spam casting spiritual Vehemance which appears to be a lesser buff - interestingly my BL is 120 but was casting vehemance - is there any reason for this? On the 'face' of it vigor appears to be the greater buff?
