haven't heard of any crashes outside of shakin - but no dmp so impossible for me to track it down, and its just been him so far.

How do you disable the auto-remove DA? I don't see any documentation of how to turn that off. It's fucking with my ability to get updates to certain tasks because you have to DA/harmshield in.

Update: nevermind, I just /bst pause on and /zerk pause on to shut off the plugins while I did what I had to do.

from the commands tab: /bst AutoRemoveInvul true/false/on/off/0/1 - Automatically remove "Touch of the Divine" and similar (i should edit them all to say invulnerability or something so its easier to find)

nah if you searched "invulnerability" you wouldn't have found it, so definitely could do with a clean up - lol

you can add me to this crash issue, I PM'd CWTN, and there are no crash dmp, same thing my other CWTN plugins are working fine

i've still yet to have a follow up from the other people saying its happening - and without a whole bunch more information - without a crash dmp it is impossible for me to just guess
 
Hi Sic. I ve noticed recently the BST isnt returning the correct mode via status. Not a big issue i just have to flick over to check he is on the correct mode and then back to MT before pulling. Just thought i would let you know.

the mode stuff is done via the "library" so if it is always your bst doing it - then something else is going on - are you doing anything weird like unloading other plugins while bst is paused ?
 
im using variations on your hot buttons just to change modes on the crew and i always hit my status button to confirm change. no nothing out of the ordinary the mode has changed on the bst it just not displayed on status.
 
I have been trying to copy the social hotkeys from Sic's video on the CWTN bst, but when I am in game and not camping but moving around to do mission (running with my SK), BST who is using CWTN keeps running back to the first place we fought a mob and every time I move him myself because he ignored "come to me" he just runs back.

Is there something I am doing wrong or are there some plugins I have to manually load that were included in very vanilla?

I've been looking for a while now to find answers myself but I just keep getting more questions as I find more interesting things I want to try.

if you are in assist mode - it creates a camp where you are at, and after combat it will run to that spot.

you should take a peak at the modes and find the right one for you. I would suggest using chase mode if you want it to follow your tank around

/bst mode - Manual|Assist|Chase|Vorpal 0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8
Has access to all of the CWTN plugin "Modes"
Mode 0 - Manual --- Manual
Mode 1 - Assist --- assist your MA and returns to camp
Mode 2 - ChaseAssist --- chases and assists your MA
Mode 3 - Vorpal Mode (Assist but no camp or chase)
Mode 4 - Tank --- tank stuff
Mode 5 - PullerTank --- pull and then tank
Mode 6 - Puller Assist pull and then assist MA
Mode 7 - SicTank Mode --- sets a camp, and does tank stuff, but doesn't return/sit down
Mode 8 - HunterTank Mode - roams around killing stuff

Sorry. I tried manual, assist and chase. He kept doing it, I am not sure if was my bad or a setting I haven't seen.

Thank you, will see if I have missed something there. I did try chase mode as well but it behaved weird, I will give it another go in a different zone shortly.

please ensure you are not trying to run another combat automation thing like kissassist or rgmercs on top of mq2bst.

manual mode does not return to any camp, sit down, or even target/attack without being told to - so if any of those things are happening - you definitely have something outside mq2bst doing it

you should be able to make him to /bst mode 0 and then he will just chill where he's at - if you "come to me" he'll come and just stand there - if he's running back then you very likely have a macro running /end will end any macro

Ohh. I haven't tried with kissassist yet. I was going to get it up on my bard, but so far I only boxed with SK and BST to try it out. I was grouped with a buddy, does that matter that he is not running MQ2 ?

Nah, You do not want any combat automation macros running at all.

And nope mq2bst doesnt care another player is a bot, a real person, a ghost, or a robot.

It sounds like you were just in the wrong mode.

Make sure your sk friend is set to main assist in the group window, and then just /bst mode 2 on the bst.

Thank you. Completely wrong place, but I still use the kissassist for bard- I couldn't find a CWTN for bard at least.

I have spent the better part of an hour and a half trying to get KissBuff plugin to show in RedGuides launcher only to discovery the "Vanilla" icon on them. So now I am looking for a bard in kickassis ini archive. Going to get SK CWTN as well now and give it a proper go :) Thank you though.

we don't use kissbuffs any longer. kissbuffs is depreicated and unused any anything. the cwtn plugins uses mq2cwtnbuffs. you should unload mq2kissbuffs. (the video was used while we were still using the kissbuffs).

mq2bst automatically loads mq2cwtnbuffs anyhow
 
Just like to say I love this plugin, that said, I am always out of mana. The beastlord is 113 with currently the autogrant aa. ( waiting to grind more aa when 115) Attached is a screenshot of whats going on in a couple rounds of combat.

deleted your pic since it had toon names on it.

beastlords are mana hungry - without current gear/aa you're definitely going to struggle.

you're going to want to have AAs that match the content/level that you're doing.

I suggest doing focused paragon and paragon AAs early
 
ChatWithThisName updated MQ2Bst with a new update entry:

Celestrium Bestialcry Tunic fix.

Celestrium Bestialcry Tunic was causing a crash for some players. This update addresses that crash.

The crash was hard to track down because it wasn't producing a dump file. it was just straight crash to desktop. @Fujisawa was having the issue and helped me with tracking down the bug. It took several hours to track it down, so big thanks to them.

Please check this recent patch I posted 3 mins ago to see if it resolves your issue. If not please contact me in PMs.
 
atm i have the t3 tov bp added and thats the only clicky i had setup
 
I just thought I would ask another quest I have been playing with mq2bst and Sics Kissassist ini I know mq2bst uses the bandolier to switch weapons to 2 handed is that really needed I have not seen my other ini do it i am just trying to see what is the best and thank you all for your help

yes, you want to use a 2h during vindication and spam your blood

you can watch the mq2bst video i explain in there

also in the FAQ

Q. What is BandoSwap?
A. BandoSwap will check your bandolier sets for a 1h or h2h set (or combo of those), and check if you have a 2h set (it goes top to bottom in the list, no need to name it specifically).
When you are outside of "Vindication" you will keep using your 1h/h2h set, but during Vindication you will swap to 2h set for those sweet extra melee hits.

Vindication allows you to proc a free extra hit with your primary weapon

Just trying to see for max damage should i run mq2bst or your kissassist ini I did not see the 2 handed section in the ini is why I was asking and thank you so much for helping

well I did both my kiss ini and the combat routine for mq2bst, I personally use mq2bst.

kiss doesn't have the ability to utilize vindication in the same way because it won't cast a dot if the mob already has it.
And when you have vindication you want to spam your blood dot (one blood dot is mega dmg anyhow, and two extra free melee attacks with your 2h = mega dps)

for big maximum deeps you want the highest lvl EM (pet earring) you can get and a big fatty 2h

this is what i would prioritize if given the option to upgrade with something juicy
pet ear > 2h > 1h/h2h
 
best i could get atm was golden sages ear ring and ice encrusted battle staff should i get better 2handed you think?
