Plugin - MQ2BerZerker 3.1.52471.11

I know this has happened before but figured i'd report it this time. I must have come out of farming low on stam, which *should* just regen sitting in pok, but over the course of an hour or so, it looks like my zerker kept firing communion of blood until dead. He was in manual mode and not sitting so probably just didn't regen enough sta that way. Seems like it needs an hp check.

you would have to both be reporting that you're under 75% endurance and the dmg from it not take you to below 20% of your max health. anything that could kill you, like modrods or communion or cannibalize - we have a health check on

can you show me the mq2berzerker window where it was spamming it?

edit: also we would have rotated breather in there if the case was that your endurance was bugged out

communion is a 10m reuse - you slowly died over 50 minutes, without using breather? and without regening back endurance?

are you sure you don't have a react or a macro or something firing it?

yeah just spent some time trying to duplicate it, and was unable to get it to fire when it wasn't supposed to

I doubt the steps matter, but I farmed some sacred water in povalor, did /travelto pok and went afk and he was dead when I got back.

Unfortunately the scrollback is gone and it looks like I didn't have mq logging.

Overseer was running, and the only reacts I have on that toon are for the KD mission.

dunno it would require your health reporting incorrectly, your endurance reporting incorrect, breather not firing etc

I spent a couple of hours going over this tonight to try and replicate it - even "future proofed" for the potential future ranks with the xpac :) so wasn't a total waste, but without being able to see your hp/endurance and mq2berzerker firing it, really hard for me to say.
 
If you put Ritual Scarification on and then zone into a zone where buffs don't expire, you'll bleed yourself to death. This isn't an MQ2Berserker thing, any zerk can suicide themselves in PoK if they want to.
 
That's probably what happened then. Now that I look at it again the CoB fires were after I died.
 
ok question...maybe I missed it, should all zerkers in group have alliance on? will they all use it simultaneously?
I think i go over this in the vid.

but i use alliance with 2 zerkers so i keep usealliance and forcealliance turned on. if you have 3 you don't need force alliance.

it is possible they try and use the ability at the same time, but if the mob already has the debuff on them, they won't try and fire it

they sit down when they have nothing to fight in assist mode.

if they're not assisting it means:

a: you don't have your MA assigned in your group
b: their assist values aren't being met
- assistat
- campradius


once a mob enters your campradius, and is being targeted by your group main assist, and is at or below your assistat value, you will attack it.

If I have 3 ber in group , can they coordinate alliance one by one??
they do not check their neighbors, but they do make sure the mob doesn't have the debuff before using it.

if you have a big problem where they coincidentally cast at the same time, you can consider staggering your assistat values on each of the 3 (100, 98, 96) or something

One of my ber keep casting Mangler's Covenant, the other don't..... and if I click covenant from the other zerker, the one keep casting still cast and show block message "Your blah blah did not take hold on.....(blocked by Mangler's Covenant)"

so you have one zerker that doesn't use it under any circumstances and the other one uses it with flagrant disreguard?

can you show mq2berzerker spamming that? because specifically we check against it having any of the alliance buffs
and your settings on both?
 
My 3 zerker are level 106 114 114, is that the issue? And I found that they don't cast alliance or covenant now.
no that shouldn't be.

I did find and fix an issue last night, likely the cause. it'll be in next next patch
 
This might have been answered on other plugin post for other classes, is there a path for future updates to add in Breastplates for burns, like how the epic is clicked, or how the SK epic is considered a burn? I know the added bonus would most likely be minimal, but $20 is $20 right? (EI Anguish BP and say Fear bp (Boreal) as I believe it was the last with a DPS mod of the recast type 16's

Can /ber addclick burn ? or are you asking for a auto detect and use?

I've noticed a few long pauses in hunter tank mode lately where mine will just sit and wait, then a minute or two later he summons axes and starts nav and keeps moving. There's no announce saying it's waiting for spawn or endurance when this happens. I caught the output and the long pause happens right after the blank "Adds: " line.

yup, it is doing your zerk check puller downtime stuff - checking aura, summon axes (like in the case of your image), downtime clickies (like summon clickies)

if for some reason you wanted to be spammed by debug output on debug pulling, you can turn on /zerk debugpull on this would absolutely spam the snot out of you and tell you that it is returning on SummonAxes i don't recommend it. there is also the /zerk debugpull on once and it would spit out once why it was waiting on something.

it isn't actually the pull routine that is pausing - the pulling routine is waiting for zerker to be like "yup all my stuff is good to go: but the pull debug is still there to spit that out if you wanted it to for some reason.

This was added back in April 2021 - before that we didn't do any checking to ensure you had axes, or addclicky downtime buffs (including summons) or refreshed aura buff.

the pause wouldn't be "a few minutes" it would be long enough to cast your axes, or do your downtime clickies etc, if we fail the "zerk downtime check stuff" we wait 2 seconds before checking again

I turned on debugpull, paused so i could deleted my axes, then unpaused
you can see i will summon my axes, and every 2 seconds i will say that i'm summoning axes (due to debugpull on),
then i spit out the first results for the pull cycle.

the blank "adds" line just means there are no more adds

some folks have reported eq/mq having an issue where you think you have mobs on xtarget when you don't. this would really be the only thing that would just straight stop you from doing stuff. The cwtn plugins actually try to identify and reset any xtarget slots that are bugged out.

but that's really the only thing i can think of that would "stop you for a minute or two". your summon reuse is like 6 seconds, so unless you didn't have enough endurance (the cost is 1 endurance) or eq was reporting you only had less than 1 endurance - then i can't really think of anything else.

if you see this again try jumping and see if it mysteriously starts working again.


I could add something like this, would would just msg out the one time if it was waiting in the pullerdowntime to do something. I'm unconvinced that it was in the pullerdowntime that you were stuck waiting on tho.
You might have been rooted, or silenced, or had xtarget bug, or endurance bug etc.

From the latest update in MQNext, I can see my 1st and 2nd zerker cycled the alliance disc, but not the 3rd one, the 3rd one still doesn't cast the alliance disc......

I would double-check that your 3rd zerker isn't missing abilities or have theirs set to be turned off.

as mentioned before there wasn't anything preventing it from firing, in fact, it would fire when it shouldn't. There's nothing that says "only one 2 zerkers but not the third". the plugins don't communicate or query one another for anything - they're just checking the target for the target's buffs.

do you maybe have your target window hidden on that character. if so you're going to want to open it.

yup, usealliance and force alliance is correct (since the standard check is for 3 of a class)

do you have the abilities?
is your target window visible on those characters?

Here are two berzerkers right now using their alliances

The actual PROC of it going off will most likely only occur while you have your pets out (so usually during burns) with just the 2 berzerkers.

but yes, as far as them using their alliances, use alliance and force alliance and you should see them using it

Q. Alliance?
A. Alliance will check against the mob's current buffs/debuffs to ensure it isn't already "allianced" but we don't do any checking or communicating with other group members, so if you need/want your berzerkers to ensure they don't click their button at the same time you will want to do something like stagger their assistat values.
2 Zerkers *can* trigger alliance during burns with their little pet out, but our regular alliance checks for 3 or more group members, so if you want to use alliance any time else, you will want to turn on usealliance and forcealliance.

I found an issue, my zerker won't attack again if rez from combat., only if I switch mode to manual. If I use mode assist, I can target mob, but will clear target if I go attack.

this is how the plugins work

you need to clear your attack on your MA and re-acquire their target so we know it is a valid spawn, and that you want your dude who just died to re-engage. > here < is a post discussing this
