I am having a frustrating problem with MQ2Berzerker that I would like some advice on. I run several Berserkers in my box team and nearly 20% of the time, and at random, every single one of my berz's will not engage in combat.

Let me explain in greater detail.... when I say not engage combat, I mean there is NOTHING I can do to get them to engage. My warr is set to MA/MT, all berz are on "assist" and when I start, lets say the Zlandicarr mission, they just stand there. Not only do they just stand there, but if I try to attack the mob manually they will all untarget the mob, preventing me from attacking. I can't even set it to "manual" and attack the mob. Every time I target the mob and hit attack they untarget the mob.

This is a death sentence in every instance. The best I can hope for is to gate everyone out.

I have yet to find a recovery for this occurrence as nothing I have tried will enable these berz to engage in combat once this happens.

Once I either recover from the wipe, or run back, I can set up normally (without any change) and they will work just fine. I don't know why this happens, or what I am doing to cause this to happen, but it is extremely frustrating so I have come here for advice. It literally makes engaging the mob dreadful, because I don't know if I'm going to wipe or win. It's a complete crap shoot.

I have even tried different tactics, where I would first set up like normal and set everyone on "assist". I then tried setting them on "manual" and engaged firs, and then switched to "assist" once they have engaged. Nothing works. Once "assist" is engaged they deselect the named, and there is no recovery.

At first, I thought t his was restricted to only the Zlandicar mission. But this happened on a trash mob too once, in another zone. With Zlandicar, there is only one mob (the named), so if this happens you are screwed. But with the trash mob, I couldnt get the berz's to engage, but the rest of the group finished off the mob. Once a new mob was engaged they started attacking again.

What is going on? and how do I fix it? This is annoying.

what is your mq2berzerker window saying (pm me a screensnip) when this occurs?
it will say who it is trying to assist
what is your campradius?

there are very few circumstances where we force clear a target (mainly when your target isn't your MA's target)

is your ma targetting itself or otherwise clearing its target?

are you using levitation? (this shouldn't be related but just trying to eliminate some different possibilities)

if you're saying you're zerker is dying, getting a rez and not re-engaging - this is accurate, you will want to clear your ma's target so it requires target and your toons assist.

you could turn on bdebugging in your ini - this is going to spam you with a TON of information - so if you can get in a position where you can force this issue to happen you can have that value in the ini, turn the plugin on, force the issue to happen, then unload/pause the plugin and screensnip me as much of the output as possible and send in a PM

This happens with switch with MA on if your zerker dies and you try to manually set your target, or if you enegage a target, pause your toon, relocate the mob to a new area greater than twice your camp radius away and then unpause (plugin thinks the mob gated).

You can turn off switchwithMA or just reaquire the target on the MA.
 
Just curious, but which weapon type have you guys parsed out to be the overall best dps using mq2berzerker? When I say that, I mean without bandoliering, and weapons of the same tier at level 115, does the 30 delay, 32 delay, or 36 delay parse out higher over a day of killing?

i use 36, stacking hdex etc.

I use the 36's (x6) and also stack HDEX.. well.. 4 down, 2 to go :bang:

Because of the ongoing bug between server and item click timers there are occasions where the Zerker gets into a clicky loop on offensive clickies and the DPS of the zerker is massively affected. It also seems to happen with epic clicks.

Would it be possible to code in a way to limit the amount of click tries before it ignores and sets a timer (say 30 seconds) before it attempts to click again.

if eq says its ready, we think its ready and it didn't go off correctly - it would require either tracking each item individually with a timer, or introducing a possible heavy delay with subsequent items.

I ended up putting a timer in the shaman epic because of this issue - but that is specific to that shm epic and not clickies overall.

hopefully eq fixes their broken shit so we don't have code around it - In the mean time for non-epic clickies if you continue to have this problem you might want to take them out of automatic mq2 usage and have a hotkey to fire them manually (you won't be able to that with epic, however).

itseems the people it happens to, it happens to them frequently (at least to the ones with whom I've spoken).

I'm actually curious if its something like their PC time is incorrect.

Happens to me all the time, cant use the Cleric epic cuz it always makes the macro go bananas. Warr BP same thing.
 
This might have been asked/answered before, but is there a way to save my settings so when i load up mq2berzerker or mq2eskay i don't have to change my values back to where i had them when i logged out or unloaded the plugin?

howdy deboosh - this likely means you didn't refer to the FAQ or the CWTN UI Information video.

if you want any of your settings "saved" - as in adjusted so they will load that way, you would adjust them with the slash command.

/zerk switchwithma on etc

A. This is intentional. The UI acts as a "hot swap" allowing you to adjust on the fly. If you want to "save" your settings, adjust it with the slash command.

Camp radius is set to 80. MA/MT has Zlandicarr targeted, and is engaged in combat with Zlandicarr. Levitation could be active. I have a bard in group, and honestly I don't pay attn to if levi is on. Likely it is mostly. Also, i turned on the debug feature in the .ini so when this happens again. Thank you!

100/100 would not recommend turning on debugging in the ini. it is going to spit you a lot of information very quickly. and it is likely going to be useless to you.
 
Is it possible to add a toggle for Desperation as its on a 20m cooldown and IMO should probably be toggled with burn. I currently have all burns off yet it fires it. Also I a it would be great if we could toggle using Bloodfury instead of RoS.

its a 20m buff and with extensions and whatnot ends up lasting for 10 minutes

in the current code it fires anytime (and only) if you have less than 224 haste and are in combat

in our next update it will fire any time you have less than 225 haste and are in combat OR if you are in your burn (that double proc hit is juicy) regardless of your haste value.

no, there is no auto return to campfire built-in

wired made a macro to do this however and you could run this > here <

I looked around and could not see if this is listed anywhere and seems new to me within the last few days, on my paid plugins I no longer see the options for RkII purchased for my silver characters, does the plugin now know if they have it or not? I checked across the ones I have and it no longer shows on any of them. If so, that great I was tired of clicking that little checkbox, but I'd rather know for sure. For me, it MQ2 Zerk, Sham and War and testing out Enc while you have it in beta.

yes, it is now automatic

and what do you mean tired of clicking the checkbox? the ui window is temporary - any item you want to adjust permanantly you just change with a slash command. hope you're not manually clicking stuff every time you log in to be what you want permanantly lol. if you are you should definitely check the FAQ and the CWTNUI vid

Yes I kept clicking it every time I logged on.. hahaha. I have hot keys for /zerk mode 0 and such. Guess my pains are over.

If I check the "use alliance" option, does it only use demolishers alliance, or will it switch to the upgraded level 110 version? I think it's Covenant or some such

all of the abilities upgrade - when you load the plugin it tells you what abilities you have and what abilities you are missing.
It will use Demolisher's Alliance, Mangler's Covenant, and Vindicator's Coalition depending on what you have.

Vindicator's Coalition is the newest 115 version

Try adjusting the keyboard with a hammer...not very effective...but man what a rush!
 
Did something change for zerkers? They arent firing Bloodfury to 89% health. I noticed it since this latest update, anyone have a clue where to start looking? Bloodfury box is still checked.
 
UseBloodFury option was brought back as a toggle even if you have open wound/ritual scarification where-as pre-patch it was off if you had a health limiter.
If you're health is being locked under 89% you should UseBloodFury, otherwise you can turn it off and let the health limiter just lock your health.

Bloodfury is really only needed if you have over 324000 hp (thats the cap) after that it starts bring you below 89%

Great change though it really helps.
 
I may not be explaining whats happening now. I thought the zerkers ran at 89% hp while fighting, i had my shaman and cleric to not heal up NotMa's heals.
Now they are running full hp's, maybe this should be in mq2clr or mq2shm. I dont recall changing any of my setups.

Its in the update notes and william12 explained it.

we are now using bloodfury to fire when you need to have your health limited instead of using the full time limiter because dbg hasn't updated those lines to be in line with the hps available with current gear.

Hey folks,

Seeing some things that i know are not normal usage for a zerker, but things i often use for mine. Primarily in the Hunter Tank modes. Things like not summoning axes (even when completely out), trying to nav to the back of the mobs, and getting stuck that if the window does not currently have focus, at random times it will not attack. it still runs to them and stand there getting hit until the window is provided focus then it will work again for a random time.
