MQ2BerZerker

Plugin - MQ2BerZerker (5 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

Having an issue with one of 2 zerkers getting the window does not exist issue. Same PC 2 zerkers, one window works the other does not.

Tried wipeing out the MQ2Berzerker_CharName.ini as well as the [CharName} settings in MQ2Berzerker.ini any advice could help.

Reloading the ui 50/50 causes a game crash as well.

are you running your 2 zerkers from different directories?
Have you watched the UI video in my signature that explains the cwtn plugin UI?

i am running 6 toons all with plugins from the same Directories, all windows work except 1 of the 2 zerkers - 5 of 6 windows work 1 dont.

That is why im so confused. they all pull the same window file and its clearly there. its just this one char that will not load it. Wiped Very Vanilla reinstalled and same result.

I sometimes have the issue where one of my cwtn plugins where the window doesn’t load. /reload default always sorts it out if /pluginname show doesn’t.

Might de a different issue you’re experiencing, but this works for me

Greetings. I'm running MQ2berzerker and it's fantastic. Only 1 gripe and I'm not 100% certain it's a plugin issue, but I'm asking here because I'm 90% sure it is....

There are times when my zerker is unable to run from a mob. He's not rooted, instead I turn to run, slide forward some but then slide back, like on a big rubberband. I suspect it's a stick issue but it continues for a second or two even after I unload the plugin. Long enough to fail emotes.

Is anyone else seeing this? It's not a zerker ability; even though they have one that self-roots you can tell when it's that one because there's no movement at all, truly rooted.

Thanks.

you sure you're not getting Gore or similar? the mob -gravitate?

are you sure you don't have your afollow still on?

I am not certain about Gore but the mobs in question are raid mobs and not the one's listed for that, however some other mob ability is possible. The only issue is I seemed to be the only one it was happening to, so I wouldn't think that was the culprit.

As to afollow being on, I am running it on assist with switchwithMA checked. Most times I can just stop auto attack, clear my target and go about my business, but the times I mentioned (the rubber banding) none of that worked. Even unloading the plugin didn't help for a second or two. So I don't know if it's a delay in the unload or if there's something else going on.

there shouldn't be a delay after unloading. should be instant.

if you're having to do movement away, I would suggest ensuring you're in manual mode and clear your target when you swap over

otherwise if you're in an assist mode, and have switchwithma on - if you clear your target you will re-acquire it and start pumpin

I'm going to try some experimentation and see if I can figure out anything else. Do you know offhand if mq2berzerker is using any of the self-root abilities other than Frenzied Resolve? Again, that one's quite obvious as there's no movement at all (and you can see the disc running in CA).

Again, thanks for this plugin. It's amazing.

it does not.

it sounds like you are either remaining in an assist mode, reaquiring your target, and pumping on the mob - or you have afollow on.

or you have an event/react/similar that is forcing you to do something

I am neither intelligent enough nor ambitious enough to add my own event/react functions. Not when zerker is doing everything I was doing plus some.

But the assist mode context you listed has validity, or at least I haven't ruled it out. I'll reply back after some testing. Thanks for the response.

I am new here and I am really excited about the possibilities. I've been very impressed with the parts that I am able to make work and the commitment to quality that is exhibited here. I must admit to feeling a little stupid sometimes but I suspect it's a really easy fix. I keep having problems with my characters running back to camp. Whenever I set them up to assist the MA it seems to establish a camp and I seem to be almost helpless to stop them from running back to that original camp when it comes time to move on. I took a really long command line from another post here and it does stop them but after using the command, nothing else seems to work right either (it's still a lifesaving line).

Can someone point in the right direction to have a little more control over established camp locations please?

/zer mode assist
By default means: stay at this spot and assist the groups Main Assist whenever they're fighting something within my camp range. As Durango says you just need to toggle the mode to chase instead, either on the command line, or in the UI window

Don't use MQ2Berserker with Kissassist (on the same berzerker, different characters in the same group is okay). If the problem is with MQ2berzerker behavior, you should be posting in the CWTN subform as this is for Kissassist and they're completely different things.

you need to toggle back to manual when moving. i have a hotkey on my drive char i kinda stole from Sic.
/bct berzerkername //zerk mode 0
/bct shmname //shm mode 0
/bct berzerkername //zerk mode 0
/bct bstname //bst mode 0

and another for when i get to new camp that changes mode from 0 to 1

mq2berzerker wasn't loaded at all and I experienced a mild form of the issue. Mild in that it didn't last as long as it has in the past, and it only happened once. Apparently some of the mobs in the raid have a Gore ability and I'm positing that, with zerk running, I do enough dps to get noticed more often.

howdy Ghoulish - you shouldn't run kissassist and the cwtn class plugins at the same time - as you will run into conflicting behavior.

I am having issue's with MQ2Berzerker not working. When I log in, I get this error: ' MQ2Melee conflicts with this plugin. Unloading it automatically any time you load it, or something else loads it.'

It shows that MQ2Melee is unloaded, but the plugin is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

if the plugin appears to be not working, it's not an mq2melee issue. it's probably a setting elsewhere. if mq2berzrker is in manual mode it could appear to not be working. If set to chase/assist and you don't have a main assist assigned in your group it could appear to not be working as well. It might help if you gave us some more descriptive explanation of what "isn't working" that you're expecting to work?

I know mq2melee is not suppost to work, and it says it's not, but I still get the conflict message. I have a war in group set to main assist, main tank. Zerk on chase. Zerk works, but a 115zerk should out dps a melee merc I would think. Zerk is doing half of what merc puts out. Im fairly new to boxing, this is my first bought plugin. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just don't know what else to try.

mq2melee is always set to load by default, so the plugin will always unload it with that message... that's normal.

What is your group makeup? Zerker's aren't good on their own, in fact they're pretty terrible on their own .... they need support, they need adps, they need their Epic 2.0 etc.

War, Zerk, Chant, the rest mercs. No do not have epic's on zerk, and 13k or so AA's. Pretty new 115, but I sure thought the zerk would be able to out dps a merc.

Zerkers are like any other class you get out what you put in. As already stated you need the aa and the gear including all the heroic dex you can get to make the zerker produce good numbers.

Swap the Ench for a Bard and you'll see sizable gains, for both Zerk and Warrior.

And as Hellfyre says, gear, AA and oodles of Heroic Dex (stack them type 5 augs)

definitely watch the CWTN videos i have posted - especially the "how i move my toons around" video and the mq2berzerker overview video

@Liehry20 make sure to check /zerk missing to see if you are missing any abilities the berzerker would like to use that you have failed to purchase.

Once you've established you have all the abilities you are supposed to have, check your AA's. Anything that is "Can activate" is something you're going to want to put levels into.

Once you've got at least one rank in every "Can Activate" ability you'll also want other things like all the Synergy AA's, Intimidation AAs, and rank up "Can Activate" AAs and then any and all offensive aa's.

With all of those things completed you only holdup would be your Gear and your Augs. Me and Sic believe the blunt weapons (36 dly weapons) are optimal, and pumping as much HDex into your character as you can will be ideal.

Thank you! I have been running kissassist at the same time as MQ2Berzerker. I will watch the video and check out the hotkey resource as well. Thank you to all who answered my request for help.

Love the plugin!

One question... how in the hell can I turn off it from activating ritual scarification? I was hoping turning bloodfury on would but... no luck.. Help please! I do not
see anywhere I can turn that off.

you can't. several zerker abilities require you to be lower health - if you don't have a limiter spell, you can toggle on/off bloodfury - but as far as disabling the limiter ability you cant

from the FAQ

Q. What is the deal with limited health?
A. Zerkers have a bunch of abilities that require them to be injured to use.
once you get lvl/aa/abilities that value will end up being 89% health
open wound maxes at 117k hp or 89% whichever is lower
ritual scarification maxes at 326k or 89% whichever is lower

Oh ya old school zerker here and I know how they work, just a fan of bloodfury over ritual, tank goes down and zerkers up... and this bugs with cleric aura.. and glyphs.. drops you WAY
below 89%.

Appreciate the response!

Ahh second problem with that, cleric spam heals him over and over and over when she is using kissassist to heal group... not sure how to get around all this. Is there plans in the future to
add an override feature for Ritual scarification?
