MQ2BerZerker

Plugin - MQ2BerZerker (2 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

I play on test so these updates dont work for me.

I have always used the empty kiss to handle the assist because i dont have the mesh files...

UseMQ2Melee=1
needs to get set to
UseMQ2Melee=0

That is the only change that is needed. If you turn off melee, then they won't engage in melee combat at all. The issue is the Kissassist is trying to use a command from MQ2Melee, and MQ2BerZerker is now forcing MQ2Melee to be unloaded, so the change in the INI that needs to be made is the one above that I mention.

that worked like a charm, thanks man!

Trying to do some achievements where you need to avoid auras at the back of mobs.

Currently mq2berzerker always moves to the back. How hard would it be to add a switch for it to move to the side ?

Change to zerk mode manual
Fire up kissassist w/ the "StickHow" .ini setting (under [Melee]) set at something like "!front" or "pin" if you want to try to stay at the sides, or "front" if you don't care if you eat ripostes but just want to make sure you get the achievement.

The reason this works is when the zerk plugin is in manual mode you can either run it yourself, OR, let another macro run it... like kissassist. That's how I run the zerker plugin 100% of the time. It seems to work well and I don't need to worry about remembering how to turn off shit in the plugin to make things like travel work.

Most of your options for StickHow come from the /stick command in mq2moveutils. Here's the plugin link to refer:

and i updated to newest build, cus i been having login issues any chance on update to work with newest build? =D

Thank you CWTN

Not casting dissident rage...but is it doing Dichotomic Rage instead?

correct , found bug fix , daybreak is aware , if you go back to the person and say remember , will update your dissident rage ,

Also another bug ive found today , its not casting Manglers covenant on any of my zerkers with alliance turned on ?

I'd like to ask for a feature that disables zerk mode (set to 0) upon death so when the zerker is rezzed it doesn't just run off somewhere. I think this would create a less obvious behavior.

Thanks Chat!

Hrm I run 2 berzerkers and I have forcealliance on and usealliance on and they fire it just fine (I use force with 2 because during burns they *can* trigger it with some luck)

Chat talked about doing some distance check for things like being dragged somewhere and rezzed, or getting a Coth, etc --- just a flat /zerk mode 0 when dying would be terrible as it wouldn't go back to normal behavior once alive again

Just make it a toggle. Right now more often then not it's a terrible idea to let it go back to normal behavior because it gets rezzed and takes off and gets dead.

Bonus fun is when it takes off and aggros something and the cleric tosses a heal, thus training the group!

PS. I'm not shitting on the plugin, it's amazing and I bought both. I love them. I've reccommended them on these forums. But there are certain quirks, like this. For-some-reason, the rogue does the rez, run off to attack mob we died to, thing more than the zerker. But that also may be because the rogue seems to get rezzed first and after I watch it tear off and die, I mash my mode 0 button. Actually the main reason the rogue gets rezzed first is the zerker keeps losing his rez accept settings.

I detailed a fix for this posts and posts ago.

Run zerk in manual mode and use a blank kissassist to do targeting, camping, etc. It works super well.

I use zerk mode 1 and don't use kiss and I don't have this issue.

If i wipe and need to move my crew for rezzes, I camphere off everyone and zerk mode 0 everyone so no one (including kiss toons) do any running around.

its a good idea to put a check in if you've moved super far away tho - like a CoTH etc as chat mentioned earlier

See that's why you don't have the issue.

You can't hit hotkeys while hovering. And My usual is drop the cleric to bind, click fellowship, and get to rezzing.

I'm not talking about moving. The rogue or zerker gets rezzed back and goes after the mob we were on. For instance mearatas center, we're in an alcove, and the Platinum decides to beat on the cleric when the tank is mezzed, thus causing a wipe. We rez back, and the rogue pops in and heads to center to solo platinum.

When darkened seb was going on, I was in disco mostly exping some new boxes, and I started pulled the named golem behind the hidden wall, I wasn't paying attention to myshow, and I got repops in camp. Near wipe. Managed to recover but when I rezzed the rogue she tore off and died soloing the golem at his spawn.

My toons aren't returning to camp. They are running after the mob they were on before death. True Story: it never seems to happen battle rez. They will stand around till I either clear my target and attack again, or manually tell them to attack it.

All I requested on the rogue thread was is it possible to add a toggle to disable mode post death.

Sum:

Right now, KA is broke with zerk or rogue, I've tried it several times and I get a text roll in my chat box at light speed. I have to unload zerk or rog then run KA with mq2melee. I tried deleting the KA files but still doing it. I was planning to try some things tonight to fix it. I prefer assist mode when they are in the group, they function better. But they won't do anything in assist mode if they are out of group, so I would run KA and manual mode. I think it has to do with zerk and rog unloading mq2melee now. Something in my default ini is calling for mq2melee.

Nothing in a completely blank .ini would call for mq2melee, however, I do run with UseMQ2Melee=1.

I wonder if there is a stick setting in mq2moveutils that's screwing you... not mq2berzerker.

One time I caught something in the scrolling text, there was an error with killthis

I deleted my ini, and ran ka, so it should have been blank

I do this and it works very well

edit

the fix for all the bullshit text and doing nothing while using kissassist was to turn off mq2melee in your kiss ini at the top of this page is the fix, i had the same issue and couldnt figure it out so they told me what to do and it worked

I was testing Mangler's Covenant aliance with 3 zerks in grp and it looks like all the zerkers would cast the ability despite the target already having the debuff. Essentially rendering the alliance to one itteration vs. cycling through the zerkers after a proc occurred. I tested this on manual mode vs. a combat dummy and with forcealliance off. I tried various toggles of forcealliance on/off , usealliance on/off.
Is this intended, not working, or can anyone else test and verify?

C++:
    //Alliance
    if (IsAttackOn() && Alliance && DiscReady(Alliance) && !TargetHasBuff(Alliance->Name) && UseAlliance && (ClassCount >= 3 || ForceAlliance)) {
        DoCombatAbility(Alliance->ID);
    }

This is the code currently used to casting Alliance in MQ2BerZerker. It's looking for the buff by name, which incidentally includes the rank. So potentially if the different berzerkers have different ranks of the ability then I could see it causing an issue.

Are all the berzerkers set to engage at the same using assist mode? If you're using alliance it might be beneficial to have 1 zerker engage before the other 2 to allow them to use the alliance first, IE: Stagger when they try to use abilities in order which could cause them all to process that the mob doesn't have the alliance and then all try to cast it at the same time.

All zerkers have rk2 and in manual mode, I watch the first zerker cast the alliance, I press attack on the 2nd zerker and he casts alliance, then same result on the 3rd. That's with usealliance on and forcealliance off.

Question about 3 Zerkers and getting alliance to trigger more often.. currently got 3 108 zerkers but alliance seems to be hit or miss if it triggers.. the 2 mill. how would one go about setting it up so it maximizes the alliance? currently have them set to use/force alliance on on all 3.

Don't get me wrong it works... ALso was sitting there looking at 2 hours or so of fights.. and saying how the hell is 1 Zerk doing so much less then the other 2?
no shit ,. axe components) took me 2 hours to realize this shit!!!

did I just break the zerkers for using RKII on them? cuz now they are just spamming alliance but it isn't working cuz its rkII

was working pretty well once i updated everything dps was bananas. Then i was like o look i have 3 Writs for RKII.. used em.. and crap

As of right now the berserker alliance isn’t checking to see if it already has the debuff, if it’s up it pretty much fires it. He’s aware of the issue and has a fix coming.

no I meant its trying to cast rk1 still not 2 now they are just spamming trying to alliance...

gonna reload the crew see if it goes to using rkII like it was RK1

got it working with RKII like it was for RK1.. just the added procs etc and the occasional 2m is pretty damn nasty!

Hopefully an easy question. I can’t figure out how to show my zerker’s dps. Is there a command or file I’m missing?

The DPS in the screenshots is from KissAssist. You can run the berzerker with Kissassist while in manual mode. Alternately, you can use MQ2DPSAdv to get your DPS output to a window.
