you need meshes for the zones in game. check in discord for links to meshes, there might be a post with a link to the repo somewhere on the board.
 
Hi there, some friends of mine want to use mq2berzerker. They use MMO, but they cant find where to buy the plugin in mmo forum. Can mq2berzeker used on MMO , if can, could you give me a purchase link. Thanks

If it works (I assume it would), then you’d buy it here, download it from here, and then drop it into your other MQ2 folder.

No idea if mmo would allow it, though. Dropping other .dlls wasn’t an issue in the past, but not sure it something changed since the last time I used their compile (years ago).
 
It will not work correctly with another type of mq2 without being built against their mq2main because theirs is not the same as ours at redguides.

This could possibly (and likely) be an issue that some "Top Peeps" are working on to fix atm unrelated to mq2berzerker. hopefully we'll have an update soon.

If the crash/error provided you with a .dmp file in your log folder - shoot that over to eqmule on DISCORD
 
As @Sicprofundus mentioned, there are other reports of similar issues on other threads, such as MQ2Rez which indicate that there is an issue with MQ2IC in the function "OnInComingChat" which is part of the MQ2 API where things are handled when chat comes into the game, for some reason this is causing a crash when rezing. I'm not entirely sure of the scope of things, but also as mentioned by Sic, if the crash generated a dump, then you need to send that to mule so that the issue can be corrected.
 
Didn't have this trouble with some higher level toons but this one I just made Heroic and is setting at 99 right now.
Heal loop!!
Healer is constantly healing zerker, zerker is constantly doing BloodFury. Health drops, cleric heals, health drops, cleric heals.. Repeat to infinity.
Cleric is healing as fast as the spell pops, zerkers health drops instantly to 55% ish.
Already set heal point at 65%, afraid to go much lower.
Perhaps someway to disable Bloodfury until toon gains some levels and HP?
(Combat abilities are current with level, armor is all the stuff from Heroic so HP is only like 70K)

Blood Fury has always been a bit of a nuisance for people. Use of bloodfury is needed to get your health under 90%

Bloodfury is only used until Open Wound or Ritual Scarification becomes available. I can add a toggle for it, but I was trying to prevent adding the toggle because it makes a difference in your DPS output. If you're using a merc to heal then it won't matter if you're using the bloodfury or if you're using one of the set limiters, the merc will still try to heal. I set it to only be used if your health is over 89% and limited it to only be used every 1 second, though I could try to increase the delay as 1 second isn't a whole lot of time, but it was intended to give your health time to register the change in value. With the healer constantly having a fit that the zerker is "low on health" it causes the zerker to keep casting it and the healer to keep healing. So I can see the dilema with this and will add a toggle for those that find it more annoying than helpful.

If your character is level 99 you should take the time to stop what you're doing and go get open wound for a more immediate fix to this issue.

As shown in the overview, Open Wound is available at 96 and will replace the use of bloodfury entirely as the only point in bloodfury is to lower your health to below 89% and open wound and ritual scarification both limit your max health to a certain percentage.
 
Running to get Open Wound now.
Wouldn't bother with a toggle. I'm at fault for not stopping to armor up.
Leveling fast, just passed 102 on the way to 106 then I'll armor up.

Edit: That did it! Zerk sits at 88%. Reset healer back to 80%. Nice uptick in DPS too. Thanks again.

Once you get to 106 grab ritual scarification. It's an updated version of "open wound" which appears to limit you to exactly 89% health, whereas Open Wound (in my experience) has been limiting characters to like 75% as opposed to Ritual Scarification.
 
Well you aren't the only person that has asked about Bloodfury having the option to be toggled off. Seems like it would be appropriate to add a toggle for those that may want to molo or in other scenario's. perhaps I'll add a message to let players know they need to get that particular upgrade once they are the appropriate level and haven't obtained open wound/ritual scarification.
 
Did something change overnight? my zerkers logged in and instantly hit the AA communion of blood but wont use either discs to drop there health to 89 or below making there dps plummet to mid 50k range from 300's on average.

forgot patch day, its probably the compile just released and plugin isnt updated yet. my bad!

Was working but stoppedworking as of today. It's not casting shared ruthlessness, mangler's covenant, axe of rekatok, mangling volley, mangling axe throw, mangling frenzy, smoldering rang, and Dissident Rage, among other things. DPS went from 150k-800k to only 50k-200k. I've ran this plugin daily since I got it in mid april 2019 and I have not experienced any problems with it.
 
its patch day and I am sure chat hasn't had time to update it. it will be working soon
 
Trying to Add clicky's is this option working? To add illusion I do /zerk addclicky downtime? And for BP I do /zerk addclicky offensive? It's not working and yes I had the item on cursor
 
Howdy all - The issues with MQ2Berzerker atm are likely due to CurMana and CurEndurance being busted EQMule is on the case as noted HERE

@Mcgoo - the post just before you I link a thread talking about known issues with CurManan, CurEndurance and Mq2rez issues - it is very likely the CurEndurance issue is causing mq2berzerker not to fire off stuff - hopefully we'll see the fix pushed today
 
After a day troubleshooting I redownloaded it and it started working, in fact, better than ever! Thanks!

My basic troubleshoot:

I force closed MQ2, updated several times yesterday with the updater in the release folder, and then last night I decided to delete the zerk download and redownload it.
 
Hey all, is there a way to turn off positioning, behind the mob at their 6? I am taking ramps on some and in some raid, you need to be off to the side.

Also, this is what mine looks like... this seems short for commands? any help would be awesome!! thanks in advance

There is a UseStick=true in the ini, didn't see anything in the command/instructions at a quick look... But I assume it would either pull from mq2moveutils defaults In its ini if you save its settings (I don't know where else?) and you could set your default stick as /stick pin, that will stick to the side of a mob

I haven't tried to see if UseStick= takes the pin parameter(or others) you could try... It'll either work or it won't
 
/zerk usestick false/off/0
will disable the use of stick and intended for manual mode. This does NOT disable Nav in Assist or chase modes.

Hey so i just bought the plugin. getting this error skimming across the forums as best as i can but cant seem to find a fix. im fairly new to MQ2 tho so im sure its me being dumb but i still cant figure it out 😂

any help would be much appreciated thank you!

means you need to download the update to very vanilla

updating will delete the current copy of mq2berzerker, so you'll either need to move the file out of the mq2 folder or download it again, whichever.

Also, I see your toon name level and location in the screenshot. Should remove it :-)
 
Also, your screenshot shows it's in the folder "MQ2Test" are you on live or test? If you are on test, patch mq2 and it should get the most current copy of MQ2Berzerker.
 
i took it out since you responded lol. yes i am on test. ive patched mq2 a few times now. quit all the way out and reloaded the game. still getting the same error 🙁
 
Does this plugin have no TLO at all ? ie i can't do anything like do something like /If ${MQ2Ber.Mode} ?

Any chance it can be added so can add some intelligence to it's use instead of just having to brute change modes constantly?
 
Also, just noting i set /zerk mode 0 after dieing, plugin echos the change and after a ress the ber still leaps back into action aggroing everything and causing more deaths... did this for one ber but not the other.

Also, my bers are f2p he has rank 2 discs... and plugin attempting to use rank 2, despite being f2p and only being able to actually cast rank 1 - so the %'s that it can activate are different 21% Vs 25% so just spams trying to use when endurance is 22% or so...
 
No TLO's, that's a lot of brain power that I just don't currently have. TLO's are a bit vague to me and having only added 1 to my Farmtest, mostly just for the attempt at understanding all the required parts of creating one, I have no yet sorted out doing it in MQ2BerZerker

The one you put on manual still had attack on perhaps? because if it's attack is still on then they would engage the mob.

Discs I can see as an issue. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to get your sub status for the breather line.
 
The player having rk1 or rk2, does it matter with
MQ2BerZerke ?? I have 8 tomes/skills that weren't used by MQ2BerZerke during a burn, I presume that was coincidence?
 
having rk I and Rk II only matter related to your subscription. This is not the first time breather has been mentioned, but nobody else has reported not using a skill at all while being in bronze/silver status. My zerker's all got the cheap Rk II update, so I cannot test this.
