Release MQ2AutoForage

hi, if you wish to use the autoforage plugin, you must start the plugin on the toon you wish to use it on.

/plugin autoforage noauto
Starts it in a temporary manner and it will function for the session for the client its loaded on

/plugin autoforage
Starts it on the toon the command is run on, and sets mq to load it for future use on all clients that log on from then on
when you decided on what you want to do then its just a matter of following the instructions given in the mq2autoforage resource

Each resource on RG has an Overview / Discussion Thread and either a link to their wiki or tabs with FAQ, Commands, Etc.
Please make sure to post in the respective discussion thread, and check the FAQ/Commands/Wiki for information before posting.

I have been using the forage and fishing features and they are awesome! 4 separate computers, 4 separate EQ accounts.
Historically, I have successfully added items to the /destroyitem and /keepitem
Recently (Today) I am unable to /destroyitem Broken Fish Hook
I can add it, and this is reflected in the MQ2Forage.ini (also manually added it to the loot.ini) but the item just keeps filling my bags.

I know this is an old thread but didn't want to make an unconnected new post...

Fresh install of MQ and EQ, I notice I have both MQ2AutoForage.ini and MQ2Forage.ini. (Personally using the exact name of the plugin makes better sense to me, but what ever works).

The Forage one seems to the one one being used. I tried deleting the Autoforage one, and it reappears. It has only the 3 lines, and never populates, so not sure why its being created or what is creating it. Does not appear to be hurting anything though...

I was taking the time to notice as the plugin was auto keeping all items, even when using the ingame command to destroy. I found a post suggesting to use "/destroyitem ${Cursor.Name}" and not just have the item on the cursor and use /destroyitem, and this seemed to do the trick.

How ever the Forage INI was making global entry and zone entry at times. Simple matter to clean this up, just mentioning.

I just wanted to post my observations about the two INI, and to comment about the command, incase I forget later and need to look it up.

quick peaking the code - if there isn't an mq2forage_toonname_servershortname.ini, it checks mq2forage_servershortname, then if not it creates mq2forage.ini with the defaults
I don't see anything with MQ2AutoForage

.

My Mq2autoforage isnt working. it loads but does not forage? any ideas on how to try and fix this? I unloaded it and reloaded. Still does not work.

Thank you. that was it....but I was using load and unload for a while and never had an issue.
well at some point you did a /stopforage (or /stop) it is a modern convention to not use such broad commands like that - but that probably what happened at some point, which then if autoforage was loaded, it saved the "turn off autoforage" so when you loaded up again, it was turned off even tho it was loaded
