MQ2AutoAccept

Release MQ2AutoAccept (1 Viewer)

Ah I see the issue. Translocate is just for a punt to bind. I'll get it updated. In the meantime add the character name casting the zephyr to your approved list and it will accept it.

awesome, thank you!

Love the plugin!

Sometimes when I am trading an item from one character to another, the receiving character gets mouse click locked.. ie cant click on anything. I can still type, so what I have to do is a

/loadskin myui

and it reloads the ui and the mouse clicks again.

With mq2autoaccept unloaded I do not have this issue.

Peace

Is there a global section for Autoaccept like there is for Posse? I hate having to add a new section in my ini everytime I create a new character and then add them to each other character section. A global option would be nice if it is not there already and I just do not know how to use it.

Thanks,

Hello,

So I have looked this over a bit, and the MQ2AutoAccept seems to share a lot of common code with MQ2Posse.

Current

You should have sections like the following:

Rich (BB code):
[MyMage_Names]
Bob=1
Mike=1
Sally=1
Tom=1

[MyWarrior_Names]
Bob=1
Mike=1
Sally=1
Fred=1

Notice that they have some names in common, and some names that are not.

Proposed

It appears you should be able to open up your MQ2AutoAccept.ini file in the MQ2 Release directory and add a section like this:

Rich (BB code):
[MyMage_Names]
Tom=1

[MyWarrior_Names]
Fred=1

[Global_Names]
Bob=1
Mike=1
Sally=1

This would make Bob, Mike, and Sally work for both toons because they're on the global list. Tom would only be valid for 'MyMage' character. Fred would only be valid for 'MyWarrior' character.

It does not appear that you can add/delete entries through the in-game interface to the global section.

After you have made changes to the ini file you will need to restart MQ2 or issue a '/autoaccept load' command in-game.

You can check who's on your list with a '/autoaccept list' command in-game.

If you cannot get this working I'll try to play around with it for you. Please let me now how it goes.

-orkim

Update - I just tested this in-game and the "[Global_Names]" section works fine. I suppose one side affect is that you cannot have a character named "Global" without messing this up a bit. :)

Autoaccepting taskadds does not work on Ragefire for some reason. Please investigate...? Names are added and saved.

is there an hidden option for accept delay?
Mentioned on page 1.

Go into your MQ2autoaccept config file (should be in your MQ2 folder) and there should be a setting that's something like delay=0 or acceptdelay=0. You can change it to whatever you want. I changed all mine to =5 or =10 because I thought it looked weird if all my toons were instantly accepting invites to stuff. Sorry that I didn't provide the exact argument - I'm not at home.

i didn't see either in the ini was looking to have @ChatWithThisName confirm

Try adding it manually to the .ini and see if that works out. Make the delay something ridiculous like 50.

It won't do anything. The plugin has a 3 second delay built in for joining group/raid/fellowship, for everything else it seems to do it automatically whenever the windows are up.

Interesting. I’ll have to check but I seem to recall it accepting the raid invite almost instantly

Having a problem getting my druid to accept his own Circles ports to anchors. If I use the Transport Devices, he'll accept them, and my other 2 characters will accept the TLs, just not him. I have Translocate, Anchor, and SelfAnchor all set to accept, plus I have added him onto his own always accept list. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this, if at all possible?

Redbot updated MQ2AutoAccept with a new update entry:

code cleanup

- Removed using namespace std
- Removed pragma warning disable
- Moved global buffers to appropriate functions
- Removed unused variables
- Removed Update_INIFileName() since it never changed
- Removed redeclared variables
- Removed mixed tabs and spaces (more spaces than tabs, so spaces win)

alynel
- Switched to range based loop and emplace_back

I love this plugin and i have been using it for a couple years now in fact i just added my 60th name to it. I am would love to have a universal name list because i just spent close to 15 minutes editing my ini for 1 name. i have 60 toons with 60 names on the each list. to add 1 name to it i open my ini and add the one name then copy and paste it to all the other and then copy the whole list and add it to the new names list which i found easier then logging in the 50 toons on alt accounts to add them ingame. my ini now has 3600 names in it.

I thought at some point it was modified to allow you to accept stuff from all guild-mates or all group-mates ... seems like that would be extremely useful and also functional since you don’t have to recreate the .ini wheel for each and every toon/alt.

I believe I seen in discord earlier this month a command that will broadcast for everyone currently logged on in your Broadcast group to auto add each other, but I don't see something like that here.

Would some kind coding master please post it here ?

AutoAccept to make everyone add everyone else
/noparse /bcaa //bcaa //autoaccept add ${Me.Name}
/bcaa //autoaccept save

This might not be related or even possible but the trusted people that you create , is there anyway to make them be able to be automaticaly be given consent to drag corpses?

everquest has that option build in

Think they ask if the person is not in any of those categories.

Not sure if it can be done, but maybe something to do with adding them to friends list. I know you can ignore people on friends list, but not sure there is a way to auto consent them to drag a corpse. (without them being in your group, raid or guild)

yes, its to be given to people that arent covered under the default everquest options. I just thought would be nice to be added to your trusted people you create in this plugin :)

I see taskadd in the description, but I don't see any reference in the code to taskadd? Something I am missing or it never got added?

I am still having issues getting this to accept task adds, it works for everything but task adds.

Any suggestions?

make sure you have the proper case.

aka "/autoaccept add bob" will not take proper TA's when Bob is giving them out.

Okay So i am not sure Specifics on this but i found how this seems to work for me, If You add a Character with incorrect Case it will work for everything except taskadds. and once that names in your Ini it will not allow u to readd it with proper case. I ended Deleteing my ini and Readding them with Proper Case and now it works for taskadds
properly, Everything else worked regardless of my bad case just not taskadds.

I'd be curious to know if this is true in Next as well or if I accidentally fixed it while updating it.

I was having the same issue with auto accept not accepting task adds. All i did was save after i added the person. This worked.......

Note....when i logged out it went back to not accepting task adds....I just saved it again and it worked....not sure if ill have to do that ever time

Something I noticed is that autoaccept is doing Yes on the Shaman AA Call of the Wild "rez", which seems to mess up mq2rez. It will cause the toon that gets CotW rezed to accept the rez but then just stay dead with with the "Respawn Options" window open until the rez timer runs out and the character releases to bind after the 5 minute timer is up (at least, this has been my experience).

It's easy to test. Turn off both /rez and /autoaccept, kill a toon, CotW res, turn on autoaccept, and it will instantly choose Yes in the window.

The code for autoaccept looks like it's filtering for windows that say "percent" but the Shaman AA res has different text so I think it's getting caught by the //none of the above? do we have any names section of mq2autoaccept.

Anyway, this is the CotW text.

"Soandso's attempting to return you to your corpse. If you accept this, you will still be able to get a resurrection later. Do you wish this?"
