The new assist player occasionally just stops working. I have had it on a player for 20 mins where it wont try. But sometimes it works. Debug on does not show anything new
 
I did "/nuke memorize" on my 115 Wizzy and he memed all spells except gems 9 and 10. I suspect I must be somehow missing those spells, is there a way to find out what spells are supposed to be in Gems 9 and 10 on your default spellset?
 
good morning! for the most part this plugin works great i had to make pause on off button to get my mage to move which usually works fine but there are times that my mage just stands there and wont cast even though i have unpaused the nuke program (mostly in the bixie warfront i have noticed but not only) my normal routine it to set a camp for my warrior and melee classes and the hit nuke unpause and everything dies but i can not figure out why she just stands there and wont do anything more and more often its highly possible its something im doing causeing it but i for the life of me have no clue what that may be . any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Do you have a group MA set?

I did "/nuke memorize" on my 115 Wizzy and he memed all spells except gems 9 and 10. I suspect I must be somehow missing those spells, is there a way to find out what spells are supposed to be in Gems 9 and 10 on your default spellset?

Slot 9 is the level 96 spell Wildether Barrage
Slot 10 is a blank slot that I intend to use for self buffs in the future
 
my warrior is the MA

Is your warrior assigned the group main assist role? If not, the wizard will default to using XTarget for the next target to nuke.

Edit: It will also assist your warrior if he/she is assigned the group main tank role.

Yeah, also switches to the Raid MA even when the Assistplayer is set.

Your assist issues should be fixed in the next update. It was a bug introduced by adding the /nuke assist commands. I've tested it in Default mode, and it works great. Let me know how the others work.

Ok, that is a wonderful change. I can assume that all the /nuke assist commands are mutually exclusive.

If so , i cannot wait to try this.... but i am down for covid... or at least the end of it.

Yes, all but default are mutually exclusive... Raid1 is Raid Assist 1 ONLY... Group is Group MA/MT only, etc...

For the Wizard, yes. I have not done it for all classes yet.

Strange... I wonder if your AA nukes refresh too fast to get to the shield? I don't think they would... Are they firing? Try turning debug on /nuke debug on to see if it spits out the name when it should be casting?
 
Will try that. ENC don't have an AA Nuke. Our AAs are for ADPS. )
Yeah, I guess I should have asked about the class. I'll double check the enchanter code.

Edit: Yeah, it was missing from the Enchanter code. It will be in the next update once I get a moment to test it.

It was mostly just for high-level wizards. I don't remember if I added anything for lower levels. I will double check when I get home.
 
I noticed my druid isnt casting Twincast Rk. III. and it is in his ini dps file but still rarely casts it yet my mag fires it off no problem. Is this not also incorporated into MQ2AFNUKE?

Also, are the druids not setup to use their AA nukes (Nature's Bolt, Nature's Fire, Nature's Frost)? we have a phew of them that can be weaved between spells but im not entirely sure if they hurt total dps or not. They are super nice to fire off between spell cooldown times.

Any luck getting more of the DD/DOT spells loaded for druids into the plugin yet? Dying to get those active on druid and some tasty AE spells for more of the classes would be super dope too. Just wondering when next update may be available.

This is on my lower lvl wizard level 66

/nuke ice on does nothing
/nuke magic on does nothing
/nuke fire casts fire spells

if i /nuke fire on and unmem fire spells i can get the plugin to finally cast magic spells. if i unmem magic spells it does not cast ice spells.

if i do /nuke magic on and/or /nuke ice on nothing happens until i do /nuke fire on. if i turn /nuke fire off nothing casts.

i can not for the life of me figure out how to get this to cast cold based spells.

All spell types are on by default. The fire/ice/magic filters really only apply to high-level spells. I made the filters for events like the Velishan raid (RoF T2), or if you don't want to waste time in VP (RoS version).

For lower-level wizards, it attempts to cast spells in order by DPS, and recasts when the cooldown is complete. So, if your fire spell is fast recast timer, and higher on the preference list, it will cast it whenever it's ready, basically spamming the spell. If you would like to refine how it works, send me a PM, and we can work it out. It's been a long time since I had a level 66 wizard, so I don't remember the ideal spell order, timing, or whether or not you need to use concussion-type spells to not steal aggro.

Twincast was missing from the drood rotation. Thanks for the catch. I've added it in my local copy, and will be pushed up.

It should be using the Nature's Fire/Bolt/Frost AAs. Try turning the AA Nukes on. I made it a toggle after they started costing mana... /nuke doaanukes on
They are set up to only fire during GCD (between spells).

Extra DoTs and DDs are not coded yet. NFW/NBW is coded, Roar line of DDs, and Winter's line of DDs, and Remote fire line. So is the "Skin to ..." debuff line.
 
My mage is 70 and I wanted to try KA12 + MQ2AFNuke together. I took the mq2melee = 1 in the KA ini lesson learned from MQ2Heals and got it running without issue this time. He casts malo first then stands there and does nothing. No errors, nothing. KA is handling the buffs and pet just fine but when it comes to dropping bombs on the mobs my mage would rather sit it out.

When I turned the debug messages on it looks like it thinks nothing is ready or there's no nukes available as those sorts of messages get spammed. It appears to be eager to find something to cast but for whatever reason can't. I have nukes in the spell bar and they are up, am i missing something? I tried /nuke resume, /nuke start, /nuke assist group, etcetera but nothing gets me past malo. The only thing i can think of is perhaps I am too low level for this plugin and need to level a bit before the nukes I have are the ones the plugin wants to use? Any ideas?

The plugin was intended for level 75 and above, but it is coded for lower level Magicians and Wizards to cast (probably not ideal rotation, but they should use spells)... Can you PM me your spell set?

DoT's & Clickies

Druid - Added some more DoT support (still have a bunch to add). Added AE spells and support (still have a bunch to add). Added spell Twincast. Magician - Added a ton of spells for lower levels. Enchanter - Added item clicky support that was missing. Added item clicky to GCD. Wizard - Fixed global cooldown AA Nukes and item clickies. Removed some refactored code that was commented out.

Hi Jimbob, occasionally found that mage will sparm Burnout spell when oom.
When in burn mode, mage will cast burnout if pet has not that buff. Is that intended?
 
He shouldn't spam it, but yeah, it's coded to keep burnout on the pet. I may just have to include an oom check before trying to cast.
 
Playing a single toon in an outside group. I have been unable to get this to work except to load spells. and it buffs after a fight but it does not start nuking, I have to manually cast spells when a mob is in camp.

Assign a group or raid MA <----did this

Load the plugin if it's not loaded (/plugin mq2afnuke) <---did this

/nuke resume (start the plugin) <---did this

Pull mob and wiz just sits there.... not nuking

I have loaded and reloaded the plugin, made sure MQ2Cast & MQ2MoveUtils are loaded.

Also tried manual assist and nuke start.... nothing worked.

Nuke memorize works (spells load just fine)

buff after a fight worked. (harvest triggered after fight all by itself)

Tried nuking a test dummy and that all worked when in the guild hall, he cast spells and everything....

only on mobs in an actual camp with an actual group will he not cast.

have rebooted and reloaded several times. no change.

Using MQnext and have EQBC running.

any ideas? I feeling pretty foolish, I am sure its something simple I must have missed. The test dummy was amazine to watch, really want this to work in a reg group.
If it works in the GGH on a dummy, but not everywhere else, you may have left the dummy setting on. /nuke dummy off
