I think there is an issue when the MA dies. I had it working correctly the other day until the MA died, then I could do nothing even if I disabled the plugin. Had to unload it.

Yeah. I have noticed a similar issue. On some of the ROS progression, a mob despawns, and another spawns, but it gets stuck retargeting... I will see if I can figure out what's going on. I have been unloading and reloading to fix, but that's quite inconvenient (and a little annoying)...
 
MQ2AFNUkE targeting goes grey (like out of zone) and cannot target anything till plugin is reloaded (click a target and briefly see name and deselects/blank or grey)

I think it may have something to do with how fast the mobs de-spawns/repops. The 2 that screw the targeting up almost every time on at least one toon are the Mob/King/Kar`Zok in Gorowyn and the succulent/Cactiikii mobs in the "Fell Foliage" mission. Out of 4 toons I have nuking very often at least one will get the targeting bug ..after the re-pop which is almost instantaneous. Oh and my last run FF misssion my tank/assist did a face plant/DI stand up and one of my wizzes bugged if that ties into the ma dying thing.

ps:the doburn worked ..so that and domed are good .. and thanks for the threshold thats works like a charm also.

I don't know if it will help, maybe with testing? Just did the "Before the Siege" LC group mission. On the 3 waves, targeting(?) messed up on multiple toons every mob ( 4 caster group). It was fairly consistent, enough so I finally made a macro button to unload/reload/resume on those toons.
 
I can't seem to get this working. Every command I type just echo's in the mq window /nuke start just shows "toggle DoNuke start" in the mq window. I've used Kissassist before, but was told this was more simple to use without all the setup.. can't seem to figure it out though.

log off all your toons and delete the /nuke alias's and /donuke alias's in your macroquest.ini you have they could be there from the afnuke macros.
 
Would anyone complain if I made the plugin do this on load?

I am working the targeting issue btw, but it's a little difficult to trigger outside of the cactus mission and Gorowyn. :)
 
is happening in end of empire also at mob deaths ..it seems to happen in instances for some reason the naming in those. other then the fast changers in gor i never or rarely have that problem in regular zones? ...

And I have a new one since last update. I usually have my extended target slot 1 set to assist or tank target, since last update every now and again ...my nukers will try and nuke me/assist after the last mob dies. if i change it back to auto ..that never happens. So guessing here the check for friend or foe is getting skipped every now and again or they are stuck in a mob nuke mode?

are you sure the plugin in is loaded? /plugin mq2afnuke load
/nuke resume
 
Hey Jimbob,

I am trying to figure out the best line up(spell order) for my wizards with the new 110 spells. How does the plugin cast ? is it gem 1.2.3.4 repeat as ready? of can there be "set"(s) added to the ini files. the main reason I ask is for spells like etherfuse/ethersky blaze that work hand in hand (not 110). i just haven't found the logic in posts or how to set ini's? and if i macro the odd spell or 2 which would have cast priority the macro or the plugin? Or would it just be hit and miss like I get with Holys?

ps: can't hardly wait for the target fix ..thanks
 
It is basically set up as I would cast the spells in game... The plugin casts spells in a close to ideal order as they become ready to cast.

Along the same lines as the last question. I've never played a wizard main and mostly just have them along for dps. I could really use some advice on a good spell line up for a 110 wizard soon to be max AA's. I've tried \nuke memorize and simply crash. I'd just like a list so I can manaully load them once and save them. I really love MQ2Afnuke but feel I could get a lot more out of it with a good spell listing. Thanks for all the work on this!

I keep forgetting to post my spell set, but it's basically:
1. Highest weave spell (Ethereal fuse, etc...)
2. Highest ethereal fire
3. Highest ethereal ice
4. Highest magic instant (cloudburst thunderbolt)
5. Highest fire claw
6. Vortex
7. Dicho
9. Highest instant AE (usually ice)
10. Highest self combustion
11. Buff slot
12. Twincast
13. Harvest (Gambit for raids)
 
Hi JJB, I am recently introduced to your mq2afnuke and mq2heals plugins. I'd like to say these 2 plugins are tremendeus, I love this 2 more than any other macs.
I played a mage with afnukes and i found 2 things that did not go well
1.afnuke will not cast mage's 110 spears
2.when aanuke is turned on, afnuke will spam Force of Element even it is in cd

I will see what I can do to fix it. I might have to level my mage to 110 to test.

I found the spear issue. Spelling mistake. :)

I logged my mage in (106), and couldn't replicate the force of element issue... His appears to be working fine...

another question, seems afnuke won't cast mage magical dds?

Tested this today. Wow! Insane DPS from my mage. One question, does it use the summoned Firebound Orb III for the mage?

Also getting "This is not an ability that can be activated!" Not sure what that's from? Banestrike? Just a guess.

Yeah, banestrike is still in there. I forgot to take it out after the change. If you have a firebound orb, the mage should use it. If it's not, I can do some troubleshooting.

Yeah, he summons and has Firebound Orb III in his inventory. I'll try it again. Thanks for the work you put into this amazing pluging.
 
So, I double checked last night, and I hadn't added the latest orb. It is in there now. Are there any new shards with the 110 spells?
 
Since there are many fire-immune mobs such as fire drakes or fire element in Skyfire or VP, is it possible to add magic line nukes in afnukes?
 
Certainly! It will take a few days, but I can definitely do it. Is there a specific casting order for Max DPS using magic spells?
 
Mage Magic DPS is kind of lame, but I'd suggest the following:

1. Reckless Servant
2. Rain of Knives
3. Shock of Arcronite Steel
4. Meteoric Bolt

If you can't use rain (AE), then take it out. I'm sure others might have better advice.

What class? Wizards should cast at any level. I don't think I made it that far with every supported class, but I plan to make some requested mage changes, and might be able to do both...
 
I play a mage on lockjaw. I would recommend don't do AE, just single target spells. Breaking mezz can be problematic on raids/groups, or at least make it configurable with a setting AE rains on/off

The casting order of magic nukes I suggest:
1. reckless servant
2. rain line (i also suggest adding fire rain in fire nukes)
3 Unnatural line such as 108 repudiate the unnatrual and 103 eradicate the unnatural (this line triggers theft of essence too. when you face unsupported mobs, just don't memorize this line)
4. steel line such as 107 shork of arcronite steel and 102 shork of darksteel( has less base damage than 103 mete bolt but can be enhanced by aa:steel vengeance)
5 103 meteoric bolt
 
Hi, here are some new confusions after some days of playing
1. seems afnuke will auto cast veterian aa "expedient recovery" (aa id 484). I doubt it is afnuke's sake because only toons with afnuke use this aa
2. I played bst with afnuke and it seemed it won't cast dichotomic spell.
3. seems mage alliance is not casted

btw. how's magic dd thing going:). quite looking forward to it

I'm making slow progress. Just been a little busy lately. Expedient recovery should not be firing with afnuke... I'll check on bst dicho too. It won't cast mage alliance... I could make it an option though.
 
I’m gonna try this with my wizzy this week. I disabled heals in kissassist and loaded up your mq2heals to try to get through a particularly hard RoS mission (EoE) and it worked like a damn champ. If mq2afnuke works as well as MQ2heals it’ll be a nice boost.
