Everything worked great until the last part Shalo, when my guys werre supposed to run from the echos. They spammed BCT commands when im using dannet and not eqbc, and just sat there spamming that and did not move.
Is there a quick fix to make sure its sending commands in dannet instead of eqbc? Shows in the Lua file that dannet-True.

I am now running 1.8 but now have the problem group hangs on tree and even when I move tank 1 or more rehang and die. once this happens it always ends in group wipe as final named gets attacked. I am running dannet and kissassist. Is this not compatable and do I need to go back to 1.6 or 1.7 so I can complete this mission again. I was completing 3-5 missions per wipe. is there a way to avoid tree alltogether? think program is brilliant overall.

If you're referring to the area where you run under the low laying tree, use shrink on your big guys.

I honestly haven't run the script in a couple weeks (done with missions). But no changes in longer than that.

What stage(s) are you seeing problems at?

One note - 3 weeks ago an optional change to how Hunters are handled. If you hadn't updated the script in a while, this could possibly come into play:

With 7 fails can you be specific on what mobs/points of the script things go funky? The reason I ask is because it doesn't help the author if they don't know where to look. As for 'something has changed', I still believe the mission has odd little variables that happen sometimes. More than often it runs smooth from start to finish, but sometimes the hunters wind up under the bridge and it screws it all up. On occasion a hex was not with his pals and that ruined the rest of the mission, exiting and reentering fixed it. Kar was unable to be hit once, that was frustrating. I do not think any of those examples are caused by the Lua script, thats DarkPaw having oddball issues with those missions. They likely will not get resolved as it only affects boxers/botters, who need autotarget and mobs on the Extended target for aggro. single players all manually target, so unless it gets worse where those players complain that a 'magic lag' is not allowing them to target... this will stay the status quo. Just my thoughts.
 
Another problem is if 1 or more hunters does not get picked up by the tank, the event will time out. On SicTank mode you are not guaranteed that the tank will attack right off the bat.

The script should be identifying hunters up, moving to them, targeting, and /attack on.

As Redfrog said, there are a few situations that seem to interfere with that, like under the bridge.

But the last dozen times I'd run the script - hadn't seen issues there. If problems are more frequent than "rarely", let me know. I'll start running them again and see.

I'm all for trying to make our tools better, but for those missions there is that strange ongoings that make it out of control for us. I mentioned this before, where on both missions, once the mission was done, for just out of boredom and curiosity, I would click on HunterTank (nothing more than that) on my Tank. The whole team would follow him around and slaughter for 15ish minutes or so until the instance closes since the mission was done. But while fighting...not ONE issue on targeting, laggy-ness, or extended target issues happened. Its almost like a switch went off and said ok 'magic issues over'.. I can only laugh, but try it yourselves.

I will try get more info, but today I ran it 4 times (two different groups). Twice I preempted the script buy manually "/targ hunter , /attack on" on the way to the group. Twice I waited to see what script would do. In the first case, two hunters hung back and the script ran the group past them to the group of allies. I waited a few secs and never got a target, so did it manually. I can't remember the hunter configuration in the second case, but I did have to manually target. Edit: I should note that in my experience, the 2-hunters-hang-back is the most frequent combo.

Also, please note that the script is a wonderful tool as is and I do not expect anything to run perfectly in all situation. I am most grateful for your effort and contribution.

I have War(125/maxAA), Cleric (125/max aa), Rogue (125/max aa), (Enchanter(125/max aa), Mage (125/max AA), Ranger(125/still working on post 115 AA - 9000 done). I also have a 125 Shm that buffs before the mission. Everyone is in Player Crafted T3 with augs everywhere. I do 3Mil in non-named group DPS. All melee are using Perpetual Reverie weapons.

I wiped when the Cleric went OOM. Tank was using shield and 1hs. Got all my trophies going and class best food and drink. Am I missing anything simple?

Enhanced Campfire, Rog poison (MQ2Rogue probably taking care of the Rogue from leggings click) but can give some Spider Bite to the melee. Mage can have potential swords from Cauldron to give to pet(s). If you get them, you get 2 , Cauldron is a 30 min recast. Manually give weapons to the Enc pet for a little extra DPS. You say your team has Perp Reverie weapons, do they have any Perp Rev armor? Some of this may help with more HP and more dmg.

You should be tearing through this. Are you getting the eggs down with that combo? That is why I was wondering about the eggs and thinking perhaps you are having to contend with the spider adds.I would drop the enc and throw in the shaman and see how that goes. My 124 ENC doesn't make me happy in that mission. I am lost a bit on where your cleric's mana is spent.
 
Run this mission first time. 6 chars NoS T3 geared, lvl 125 but not much aas from LS.
After the initial ambushes I saw the npc run away and so I followed them manually to the first half, as I wasn’t shure if ma was goung to follow.
Once arrived at first halt, all went smooth and I decided to not interfere anymore.
Quest finished without any casualties. No errors occured.
Didn’t had Bandolier prepared but 2 pets dual-wielding Entwined Hammer.
Script is well done.

Edit Update:
second run today, didn’t put any hand on till final fight.
All was done fine. As I still did not have prepared the bandolier and took more time to observe what was going on, I noticed that the Bard continued to disarm, my guess in the attempt to swap bandolier to stun the named/swap back to dps when he went red again.

I reccomend to have the banoliersets prepared, even if you think you won’t need them.
NB: the stance when the mob needs to get stunned, he is light blue con, so no need to have a weapon at hand able to stun upto lvl 130.
Any decent wespon with stun-proc shall do the tric.


Feature request: if it may be possible to check for the existence of the 2 bandoliersets before attemting to use them at the final fight, it may benefit the lazy ones. As it is clearly stated that you should have the bandoliersets prepared before starting the event, still all is working as intended and without any issues.

Aren’t the eggs part of the other mission? Or am I mixing things up?

how can your cleric be running out of mana with all T3, max aa and augs? It shouldn't go down below 95% at the most.
as far as the enchanter they are nothing more than "group leaches" if you would have had something useful the boss would have died, maybe.
I really feel the same about clerics. They are nothing but "group leaches" a full out Shaman can heal just as good in group content as a cleric plus all the dps + the best slows + the second best epic 2.0 for group content only secondary to SK's.
I think, no, i know you are limiting yourself with that group.
I have a max t3 warrior. If I were you I'd persona him into a SK. they are leaps and bounds better than a war. AS a matter of a fact you barely need to get healed, ever in group content.
You would have won if your tank was an SK. 100% no doubt. especially if you ditch the Enchanter and Cleric, they are useless and you do not need their buffs, their buffs are useless as well.

Holy cow man. I think enchanters and clerics could use a little bit of class balance love, but sheesh! Those toons have feelings! :D

(We're off thread topic in two ways here but just to give a quick address on one point)
There are many "Optimal" group make-ups out there. But the reality is, at (or close to) max level/aa/gear - most any group will work. So have fun.
Tank+Healer+Utility/CC + any other 3 you want.

My group is SK+Shm+Brd+Enc+Rog+Mag. Not optimal. But I have fun with it.
Surprisingly - tested a buddy's max Zerker for the Ench - and parses were only slightly better than with the Ench.
Guess Enchie ADPS is giving the group more than realized.

Your group is MORE than sufficient to do modern content - assuming you get mechanics correct. You had some hiccups there and that was the problem.

You like the War+Clr? Awesome. That's a solid line-up. Enjoy

Look in your MQ config folder. You will find a toon specific ini named mission_finalfugue tank name. Change the values to false
 
Is there a way to force a char to mana drain Fire so he doesnt use his mana drain? I usually use my chanter to cast Mind Whirl, but he wont do it by himself on cwtn.

Have you tried the byos setup on the plugin?
 
Plucked Achievement was changed can no longer pre-kill goblins or just DPS Kar down you actually have to dodge the AE now.

Was that on a toon that received a TA?
I have that same message looking at logs on a toon I TA'd on Sunday and the rest of the group receieved You have successfully completed the Plucked achievement. I killed the Archers prior to engaging Kar

I bypass archers and have been getting that message since at least yesterday :bang:

No, each toon in the group got that message. Killed Kar before the archers fired.
