i tried wiping the files and starting fresh. nothing. here is what i have narrowed it down to. it only stops looting when there is more then 1 item to loot off the corpse. if it is only 1 item or just coin, its all fine.

Would double check you don't have "apply filters" checked in your advloot window.

Also would ensure your dannet is working

Happens to me when I do progression as a raid force. I had to modify the raidloot section to loot the item as a full stack.

This is happening to me also - just started after lootly updated when the VV update ran. Multiple items on corpse don't loot, just sit in shared until something manual is done with it. single items will process normally. Tonight was probably my first update in a week or so, so version prior to that was working fine.

i recently got into lore equiped item territory and my filter for shard of revitalizing power is Shard of Revitalizing Power=Class|1|CLR,SHM,ENC,WIZ but then i get one it just keeps giving it to the shm in my group even though he has one. ive tested using filters on other lore equiped items and it causes the same problem. even if i just set it to Keep|1

it was especially annoying farming 18 / 19 augs in tbl but it was just those augs now its all augs basically and it looks to be that way going foward. is this something that can be fixed?

Wrong forum
I love lootly but I have recently moved to a standard server. I noticed when a no-drop item comes along, which is a lot, it doesn't automatically give it to me. Is there a way to change this? Additionally, if my tank already has it, maybe I want my Bard to be next in line, and then the Beastlord, ect..

Is this possible?

Each resource on RG has an Overview / Discussion Thread and either a link to their wiki or tabs with FAQ, Commands, Etc.
Please make sure to post in the respective discussion thread, and check the FAQ/Commands/Wiki for information before posting.

Please make sure you post lootly question in the lootly thread.

My lootly hands out no trade stuff as expected

As far as giving to the bard next you would need to use the Class|#|Brd in your lootly ini next to the item I stead of keep, ignore ect. I use this for quest and stuff on specific items and it works great. # is how many you want them to have. I dont know about the no drop thing you may need to set no drop confirmation off.

For some reason I thought I remembered it handing out loot based on Class. My SK is looting cleric only no drop items instead of handing it to the cleric. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Or am I missing something?

If its not set to give out to certain classes the main looter will loot everything and anything. When I kill a named or something of interest I /lootly off to look at the items and pass them out or my main looter just takes it.

you can use lootier to get an ui to fix this problem. just research everything that drops in a camp you are going to then preadd them to lootly then change the filters to what you want

Having a problem with Lootly that just started yesterday. It's not respecting any of my loot ignores and just loots everything now. I double checked to make sure "Apply filters" wasn't turned on, as well as the other settings recommended in the post. I've tried enabling "/lootly log debug", as well as all of the other "/lootly log xxx" options, but see nothing being logged. I also tried completely wiping my Lootly_Loot.ini" file and having it create a new one, but still have the issue. The only thing I've done recently is install the "Tradeskill Construction Next" Lua. This problem started immediately after that, but not sure how or if it could be related? I've also double checked that Dannet is setup and working correctly. At this point, I'm out of ideas where to check next...

Thanks to ChatWithThisName for the assist. It looks like the issue was the fact that I was previously always grouped when using Lootly. It also looks like Lootly doesn't respect any "Ignores" or "Deletes" in the Lootly_Loot.ini file if you are solo. I tested this ungrouped, with "Auto Loot All" turned off in base EQ options and Lootly still loots everything and does not appear to look at it's Lootly_Loot.ini file. I may have missed it in this thread, but is there a requirement to be grouped for Lootly to work? I can't find a way for it to respect the "Ignores" or "Deletes" otherwise.

In the event it's relevant - the way I manage the personal loot list in the lootmanager is if you're grouped and not the ML then anything in the personal list gets automatically looted. I do this because it's assumed it was assigned to you by the ML, and thus it's intended for you to loot it. However, when ungrouped the filters are applied.
While I didn't actually look at the code for lootly, it's possible the personal list is set to autoloot everything based on being in a group and no consideration is made for when solo. That's pure speculation, but my first thought on why that might be happening. Hopefully the added info helps find a resolution, or at least eases the effort required to reproduce the issue.

I never realized why this was happening. I knew it wasn't paying attention to the ignores or destroy, but didnt realize it was because they were not part of a group. As soon as I created a group with them, it started paying attention to those lists.

I think there was something toward the beginning of the thread that basically said lootly only works if grouped, and suggesting some other manager for solo. I've found that having a merc out will satisfy the group requirement, and lootly will work as expected.

I have a love/hate relationship with lootly, I love it when it does what I want, and I hate it when I have to change it. I feel like a lot of my in game time is spent selling, and cleaning up the inventory along with moving things between the character that lootly gave an item to, over to a character that can use the item. My original intent was simply to auto assign the defiant gear pieces so the classes that could wear them using the CLASS| option. But then that took me down a rabbit hole of what if's:

What if lootly could auto assign the loot for something like an epic quest to the right class?
What if you could build a lootly file based on something like does it stack, and is it worth more than X to a vendor?
What if you could have a set of pre-generated files that could be loaded into lootly based on character level, zone, etc?

So, this then led me to how do I gather up a dataset that contains all items (Yep, all 134,000 of them), and could then be queried to produce a set of lootly commands or an INI file that could be shared or tweaked to a users liking. That then led me to learning how to scrape all the records for items off the lucy site which takes a while, but I now have working. So my plan here is to use this dataset and this thread to create some either drop in command sets you could copy and paste with the /setitem syntax to handle some of this. More to come once I get the dataset built but I thought hey, maybe this is something others could use if the dataset was readily available. I suspect I am redoing work that someone has already done at some point but I am using it as a teaching aid. More to come as I find other uses for the data, and I will drop what I come up with in this thread.

I like the idea. Loot is always subjective though, but the quest drops obviously aren't, so that's cool. Would be cool to organize them by the class maybe, these items for Shaman epic vs Bard epic, ect.

This is in regards to some of your other comments and maybe you already use this, but EZInventory helps with seeing what loot was passed to other characters and can help move them back to your main looter if needed. I also use Lootier which is a UI for lootly. What I do now is look at what items I'm trying to get for an epic drop and pre-set that to the particular class. I also set my timer to like 30 or 40 seconds so I have time to realize it's not automatically handing it to the class and can pause the script.

Another lootly hack I do (maybe this is best for lootly discussion thread), is set class consumables like for example, malachite: set MAG:1000, and every other class to like 100. So that if I'm running a group without a mage, I'm not ignoring those gems/items that I could either sell or pass to my mage at some point.

I can see something useful being to turn off and on all the defiant sets with one command, for when I am leveling a character up. SInce each of my toon's normally uses the same lootly.ini file, it makes it a bit tricker unless I just have different ini files to turn off and on. I keep meaning to work on a character specific extension, for cases where I am farming Devotee augs, or luck augs, but I have already maxed out a few of the characters in the group. Micro-managing it to that level is a PITA.

Another great tool is lootier, and I would love for it to have a mass update of all the items in your search to change them all at once. That would sae me a ton of time going down the list and setting all of the items to ignore from keep.

Ok so clearly I am not the only one that had had some thoughts around this general topic. My thought here is to kind of build a create your own adventure source.

Are you level 20?, then you no longer want to be grabbing crude defiant gear, you are after simple, so all the crude can either be set to ignore or set to sell at that time. So a copy and paste code block of /setitem commands might do the trick, especially if you are a buttonmaster user. It would be cool if there was a way for lootly to understand if you have a piece of gear equipped and then ignore it because you already have one. It works with the lore tag, but I don't know of a way to make it work just because you have one equipped which is what I am playing with now. I know dannet understands what gear everyone has but my Lua is limited.

Is there a way to make one entry in the lootly_loot.ini or somewhere else to make it ignore or destroy any defiant armor I come across instead of having to doing manually?

Not that I have found. I thought someone had made a list of them all somewhere that would then allow you to add them to the ini file manually to then set them all to ignore. Over time I have gotten most of them into my file I believe.

Yea I searched and couldn't find one. Wasn't sure if there something like Defiant with a wildcard that would catch them.

Whenever I save in lootier it messes up my lootly ini so I dont use it. It unsave my spells, and other stuff I have set already.
Never had an issue like that. Only issue I've found is if you have an item in loot file starting with a number, like '4 Lb Tuna', it'll freak out, crash imgui windows, etc. Also found Lootly doesn't deal with names that have punctuation in them - in ToL Maiden's Eye, one of the Dropped Collections has names like Outpost Reclamation Order, "Reminder" - that hangs up lootly, and repeatedly gives an error message in MQ window, holds up looting of anything past that item until the item rots.

Yea Im not sure why. I've searched spell in lootier and couldnt find any so I think that's why it was overwriting it.

The only caveat I know of with Lootly, is if you are not grouped, the Lootly system actually does nothing with the loot, it all goes through the AdvLoot filter process, not the lootly filters. My main solution for this issue is I always make sure that toon is grouped when I go out farming TS items in a zone.

So Lootly is sending random items to another one of my toons. Its set to Keep in the ini, my inventory is not full.

Is the item lore? other things to look at is if item entry in ini is something like GreatItem=Keep|1, which will send anything over the number amount on to next toon in group.

Nope not a lot item. Its random things. Like the Crude Defiant and Sullied Animal Pelt
Crude Defiant Plate Vambraces=Keep This is the line in the ini.
