Just don't patch and you can use mq2, they pushed a new exe but u can login using the older. With patches that are not mandatory I am not prepared to fix them on a Sunday. I'll do it tomorrow. If you have friends that have not patched yet get eqgame and eqmain and eqgraphics dlls etc from them.

Understood. I wasn't trying to imply anything by my posts. I learned my lesson with patching before checking if a new compile was out as well as paying more attn to tweets.

Have you heard of an ETA on a new vanilla updater? Im getting the following error:

The date and time of eqgame was not mq expected it to be Sep 22 2017 12:42:42

once the compile is completed they will update us here on the forums and you just need to rerun the patcher

Heh yea test has always been that way though we are used to get live right. If the fix works on test they can hotfix it in vrs experimenting with coding they can pin point it right down to issue. I rather like the server coming down though i know Eqmule doesnt haha but its fixing the server i have noticed a significant decrease in the lag spikes from live etc. So at least they working on making it stable again.

hrm, unable to recreate this on test. Have you modified your kissassist.mac? Do you have an .ini made for a different version?

It is doing it with any macro and even the original MQ2 is loaded message that you get at the login screen is doing it so that is why I figured it was the build. Basically, echo isn't working and everything else as it runs through the script is showing. I did turn on autologin yesterday but then I turned it off and tested and got the same issue.

It looks like test is down for another patch but I tried that earlier and it told me command not recognized or something like that.
