I have been crashing as soon as i try and inspect an item link too

if you use a customUI

those files either need to be updated or removed from your custom ui folder
 
So Ive been having a crash for about a week I've uninstalled and reinstalled MQ2 and Veryvanilla, I have renamed the INI file and tried running the game before launching MQ2 I sent you a crash dump from my gmail address the day before yesterday, could really use some help here. Using Live

You can pm me 1 .dmp file and i can take a look for you - keep in mind there might be personal information there like character names
 
Really have to commend you guys for the speed at which you have updated post patch. Lately it feels like you have a patch within an hour of server uptime. Nicely done.
 
Anyone test on phinny yet? It keeps CTD and logged in a regular server and it stayed up overnight. Doesn't matter what I'm doing on phinny it will CTD sitting idle even. Tried multiple computers, accounts zones, etc. and the only common issue is the server.

Weird, eqmule had said he updated for selo and phinny, since they're now just live servers. I even logged on phinny the other day to check with no crash.

Selos will be merged to povar next month.
 
It's random - sometimes I can be online for a while and others not. Never made it more than maybe 2 hours max, though. Just thought I'd post here, but maybe no one else is on that server to know and reply.
 
if you can log on and stay on for several hours, you need to examine your internet/computer

update drivers, run a good cleanup program etc. make sure that its not dropping you cause of limitations in memory or cpu speed etc. or overheating etc.

could also be plugin related running too many old plugins etc.

It stays on forever on another server, only crashes on phinny. Also it just exits the program. Doesn't disconnect or anything like that. EQ just poofs
 
It is definitely something with phinny. I agree it can Beas quick as a minute or as long as hours. Glad you found my post. It’s good to know there is at least one other
 
then we need @eqmule to check out that behaviour i think
 
Has anyone confirmed/tested if the random CTD on Phinny has been worked out now that truebox is gone? I really miss eqbc :)
 
I played on phinny post truebox and had regular crashes. mqnext is working for me mostly well
 
My MQ2 was working earlier today. It now says it is expecting the date to be Dec 2020. When I go to patch MQ2 it says it is up to date. ???

Sorry, it says Dec 2019.
 
Sounds like you have multiple versions of MQ2..or Multiple versions of EQ on your PC..

I'd be checking your shortcuts to see if they are pointing in the wrong place.
 
Szazor you are right. I just started from the launcher and it works fine but the link on my desktop does not work so must be an old version. Sorry bout that.
 
I'm getting a KERNALBASE crash on all my accounts. Started by patching all accounts through the EQ launcher. Once that's done, I then start up the RG launcher, update, check plugins/macros/SEQ. Launch MQ with EQBCS2. Use AutoLogin with previously established profiles. They get as far as loading into the world and then crash. Subsequent attempts result in the same outcome. I've even rebooted and then started EQ without MQ loaded. Once I start MQ the crash returns. The text in the MQ window flying by way faster than I can read it. Suggestions?

I just updated the launcher and MQ but when i get my characters to the eq world all i get is a crash message and ive tried it on 6 accounts and 2 different servers both with the same result, Any ideas on how to make it to where it doesnt do that?

yes VV requires a rebuild once the crash is fixed.

Sorry for the troubles
