So I've been thinking of different strategies for learning experiences on how to sustain Krono on every TLP. The conclusion I came up with is just farming spots like lower Guk and Mistmore and selling MQ epics. I was wondering if anyone has sustained enough Krono for 30+ years or something, or never had to worry about Krono again and just enjoyed old school EverQuest. I wonder what everyone would come up with.

Yes sir, I have approximately 69,420 krono that I've gotten from TLP over the years. Give me a moment to compose my notes. My next post here will be sharing all of my secrets for the entire world to use and abuse.

I dont TLP.. however on live, you can hustle to keep KR.. but then makes it a job, not enjoyment.. I just buy mine in bulk and enjoy playing EQ (MQ)..

69 is the "sex number"
420 is the "weed number"
69,420 is the "big internet lulz number"

If you're looking to make an exorbitant amount of Krono on a TLP, at least to the point where you'd never have to worry about them again, you're likely looking at having to AE PL in some capacity.

Setup & Requirements
It's not anything too complicated, but you'd need:
3-4x Lv. 60 ENC depending on how confident you are
1x Lv. 60 Tank (most use SK, and it definitely is the optimal solution, but anything works really if you know what you're doing)
1x Lv. 60 CLR
1x Lv. 60 WIZ

I'd recommend they be as geared as they possibly can, but do whatever you can afford to get you started.

Once you're setup, bring your toons to The Deep and plop them in one of these locations I've marked with the X

I'd recommend avoiding Burrower room if the mob is currently up.

Put the CLR, ENCs and Tank in a group together, leave WIZ out of group.

Spam the everliving hell out of General and make everyone angry with something like:
Selling great, most fantastic PL ever! 3kr for 4hr, 40-60 & AAs! PST

Grab as many bites as you can, throw them in group with the WIZ and have them sit on the spot. Collect payment and setup is done.

It's Time For Action
Rotate pulling one half than another half of the zone to the spot you've sat the toons. Avoid raid mobs such as Overfiend and Burrower, you don't want anything 56+ or unstunnable. If you need to take it slower then feel free to pull fewer.

Once you have a pull, you can pull it back to the spot and have the ENCs rotate Color Slant. (If you're worried about loose aggro killing clients, just set up the ENC/Tank/CLR group far enough away where the pull won't reach the WIZ group but the toons will still get EXP)

It's important to make sure that the next Color Slant hits before the previous Color Slant wears off, without mods Color Slant has a 12s CD and a 1.5 cast time.

The stun lasts 8 seconds, so optimally you'll want to start casting Color Slant on a different ENC around 5-6 seconds after the last one landed. This will allow 3 ENCs to keep up a permanent stun rotation.

From there, once everything is piled, have the WIZ move over and AE everything until it's dead.

Caveats
If you plan to do this, I'd recommend practicing in The Deep AoC instance. It'll give you a feel for the run down of things without having to jump right in to it.

As well, I'd recommend spinning off a side team for this if you plan to do anything outside of generate Kronos with the toons you're using as it can potentially negatively impact your reputation.

Keep in mind that there is a lot of competition when doing this. Many PLers use strategies, such as this one, as their livelihood for RMTing and such. I'd recommend staying out of their way and being respectful as long as they are to you.

This is just a short summary on how to do this but it is fairly simple, anyone should be able to get the relative jist from just jumping in with the setup and rolling around in a Deep instance for a little bit so I didn't want to go too in-depth with everything. Other stuff such as other zone options, 1-40 strategies, etc. etc. would be more fit for a full write-up.

On top of all this, it's important to note that this strategy already takes a decent chunk of time (or money) investment. You'll need 6 accs with 6 Lv. 60s (based off Teek on time of posting) and, while you'll make the investment back in a day or two if you're good at it, the initial investment is still there and should be considered when looking at farming options.

Anyhow, have fun with it, just try to not to step on anyone's toes in the process! :)

- kill mob -> get gem (diamonds/blue diamonds) -> sell gem for plat -> exchange plat for krono
- get job -> make discretionary income -> purchase krono from dbg (or illicit means)

- beg in /general with a lvl 1 high elf named "EyesOnlyForYou" about how you're out in the cold with no plat to your name, and are looking for a sugar daddy to hold you close and keep you warm at night

I have a new way to earn Krono's now thanks!

Yeah I once made a female half elf and promptly go lost and asked for directions. Immediately got all sorts of gear and money but never did get directions.

the gem strat on teek has been smashed by plat dupe :( 500k in luclin to buy a krono is pretty rough. making 500k through gems in luclin is also pretty rough. not impossible.

not for the current rounds of TLP's but if you can figure out how to spawn Brother Q in SK reliably, early on those robe MQ's are worth plenty of krono.
