The echo returned 787 751 (it was actually the guild hall it was trying to lay down the campfire)

Hmm. I wonder if the FellowshipWnd changed. The macro tries to use the FellowshipWnd FP_DestroyCampsite button to destroy the old campfire first. looks like either the /nomodkey /notify command is not working or the FP_DestroyCampsite button was renamed. I will check it out in a few.

@cannonballdex I loaded up my group and the fellowship is only being cast once. I even cast my fellowship in one zone and moved to another and it was only cast once. I am running the most recent version of MQNext you can download using the RG Updater.

You went to another zone and ran kissassist and he destroyed the campfire and created a new one?

I'm pretty sure I'm updated. Current Camp Location: Gnome Memorial Mountain 3196

Also, get the message unable to teleport to this campfire because it's in a place you cannot use it or something to that effect. Strange that eq even lets you place a campfire you can't use. (in an instance)

I have run into that issue, where you can put down a campfire in a zone, but not able to use it to get others to camp. What happens if you try and manually destroy the Fellowship? Does it let you?

Top of the afternoon to all. I was wondering (reading the above topics) Is there a change with kissassist.ini format while using the MQ2Next. As in will the kissassist 12 ini still function under MQ2Next or will the format change once MQ2Next is out of beta testing?

Another question camp on and camp off. When going through the beginner tutorial you have to go to the camp guy in POK and get your badge so you can set up a camp. Does the char that wants to set up a camp need to have this item to do so? When I use the camp button on the group window is this the camp that is set up? What about the items that you can buy from the merchant to make the camp better also use when setting up the camp?

Some how the neurons just not firing today.

Camp on/off aliases for kissassist are unrelated to setting a campfire in the EQ menus.

Thanks ctaylor22. I don't know why I over looked that when I was going through Kiss General Settings. Must have been thinking about something else at the time.

Great Knightly. I was just wondering. Now to try out MQNext and take it for a test drive.

Thanks again guys..

Hey guys, I've got a quick question.

I started back up and I'm currently using KA for my group of peeps. But running around and turning on and off the mac has been a pain. Does anyone have any recommendation for moving toons and leaving the mac running? This is the help with floor clearing in Tower FYI. I am currently hating my ALT-TAB method or sending it through eqbc for the start and stop since this method can be lagging sometimes.

So in a nutshell, i am looking for a way to keep the KA mac on and move toons around with no issues and i can move camps quickly without the needs to start and stop the mac!

Thanks in advance. I know this might be a simple fix but I've done a lot of reading and haven't found anything on this!

You could pause the macro (EQBC: /bcga //mqp on or Dannet: /dgga /mqp on) then to resume replace the on with off)

@ctaylor22 I am having a new problem with kiss, I believe that when I refer to spells as if they were rank 1, it does not find rank spells.

if this is on next, and you didn't JUST update to the absolute most recent version of it (if you think you did but aren't sure, you probably didn't), then if you patch again, it will likely fix this.

Ensure that in your buff/dps/aoe/heal wherever the spell name is that you also use the period after Rk. Example:
DPS13=Sermon of Injunction Rk. II|95
This is from my clerics ini file. Notice that after the spell name rank (Rk) has a period after it, then the tier level.

I am with @Sic on this one. I am not having that issue with or without the Rk. II at the end of my entries. May need to reboot and refresh MQNext. Not necessarily in that order.

I am not currently on next, I tried it and then reverted. I will try it again.
Is there a fix for live?
It was working before so I am not sure why it fails now.

there is not an updated live atm. so if you're not on test, or next... then you're imaginging things :p

I suggest leaving your ini in something like tank, and then before you move and setup locations restart kiss using the huntertank parameter
/mac kissassist huntertank (while targeting yourself).

sounds like wherever it is starting is where you have it set to use that as your camp location

That appears to have worked. Thank you :D

It’s the question: Target switching on raids… toons with DoTs don’t seem to change targets with MA, or it may also be a “quantity” issue on the XTar (toon stays on boss in XTar1 and won’t engage add on Xtar4). Regardless, some toons aren’t changing with ${Raid.MainAssist}, and I’m positive this is fixable! anyone found a fix?

Kiss has to check if the MA(the character you had targeted/declared when starting the macro) is in your group or out of your group. Then switch targets based on if the MA is in your group or not. Kiss also uses EQBC to broadcast the new targets id, that message is trapped for in kiss to trigger each character receiving the message to switch to that target. Kiss is more group eccentric and not designed for using in raids. The easiest way to use kiss in a raid is to play in manual mode on one of your characters. Then have all your other characters, use the character your playing as their MA. Now when playing the character you will just follow the raid main assist and everyone your running kiss on will follow. Also make sure you set TargetSwitchingOn to 1 on your MA.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. So here’s what happened last time: 1) I make my zerks KA off the ${Raid.Assist} because I never have the issue with them, and I make all my other dudes KA off my zerk that I also have assigned as MA in group. The BST and the BRD, however, never ever changed target(s). I’ve tried KAing them off the RaidAssist as well, to no avail - same problem.

Do you have your Xtargets customized at all? Are all your XTarget Entries set to Autohater?

Are your BST and BRD attacking at all?
On those toons and my driver, yes (to the automated XTar)

And yes, they’re doing their whole KA routine, but just not leaving the mob at all

The BST and BRD are attacking correct? Are you using EQBC or DanNet?
EQBC - yea they just continue going through the kiss ini, never leave the mob. Was thinking maybe that they have a radius issue or something? They’re on Chase mode tho, so I’d think that would bypass any camp radius issue
