Guide - Import Kissassist Ini From Another Character 1.0

Can you type exactly what you type to start the macro and what server are you on tlp or live? If tlp which one?
If kissini.mac is in your macros folder and your kissassist.ini is called kissassist_whatever.ini then you should be typing

/mac kissini kissassist_whatever.ini

I am on FV server i have the macro in folder after someone helped me with needing to do that , I copied a 105 Bard,wizard,mage basically all of them for each class naming them Kissassist_bard105.ini and added it to the macros , then i went in game and loged onto the same class and typed /mac kissini kissassist_bard105.ini and the message came up

When you say you did kissassist_wizard.ini should be kissassist_wizard105.ini?

I named the Text file KissAssistwizard well Kissassist_wizard , do i have to add the Ini ?

yes you need to add the ini to end and save as "all files" under save as type.

Well i was able to run the command /mac kissini kissassist_Enchanter105.ini but everything said none and when it created the new text file kissassist_Firiona_Name there was nothing but General and level 53 , trying to figure out what i did wrong this time , i am aging trying to get this to work 8( sure 100% human error

Ok So just to make sure I am not forgetting to do something here , I followed what Scot above suggested created the copies text file and saved as all files with name kissassist_Enchanter105.ini , went into game on my level 53 enchanter and typed the command /mac kissini kissassist_Enchanter105.ini and it started to load but went really fast and everything said None as far as what was added to the new created Kissassist_server_name text folder. When i look in the folder it has only at the top General and below that /53 i assume for my level but thats all that was created , did i miss a step ?

I think you need to find a ini closer to your level the macro has a 30 level difference cap when it searches for spells and that's likely why you don't get any good output, spells just change way to much after 85 to make good downgraded inis possible, try to find a level 85 or lower ini, the closer to your level the better I'm sure someone has like good level 60 enchanter inis they can post. Heck I might even have one on an old laptop.

I honestly did not see where it said to download into Macro folder , i am sure its common sense but i must have none 8(

Not sure what i am doing wrong i have downloaded it into the macro folder went into game typed the command and again C:\User\name\desktop\mq2\Release\Macros\kissini.mac message everytime

I might be too late, hopefully you figured this out already.
You need two things in your macro folder:
1. the macro >> kissini.mac << click on the link in the first post - "So... I introduce to you: The kissini.mac (download it and put it in your macros folder)", link is highlighted in red, in the first post.
2. any kissassist.ini file that matches the same class as your character.

I just found this myself and am amazed how awesome the possibilities are with it!
Thank you very much for once again helping out the MQ2 Community here at RG with such an Awesome assist tool!

Sadly, I wish I had known about this earlier, I just manually setup almost an entire new grp of KA ini's recently... for the future!

P.S. Would you be able to note in the original post that there does exist a 30 level cap for the searching function of this? That would be awesome. I learned that only by reading the entire thread which I always try to do to get a bigger picture of any quirks, issues, or changes not mentioned.

incase it helps anyone, I was having trouble getting this all sorted out. Until I realized I saved the kissassist_cazic_wizzy.ini as .txt instead.

on my beastlord it wont recognize spirit of wolf.

but i use it constantly to update my inis when i get new spells, since i been pling my beast a little bit, so now i use it to make sure he takes advantage of his new spells, and it works flawlessly, except the spirit of wolf thing.

Because there is just one version of the spell... so there's nothing to replace it with.

It basically starts of slow and improves each time you level.
Increase Movement by 30% (L9) to 85% (L51)

That said there are other spells that increase run speed. But they are totally different spells. Look up spirit of wolf on zam, read the comments under it. The other spells are group versions or add other effectside such as attack.

Running this on a 105 Cleric will swap out Spiritual Remedy and Fifteenth Emblem.
Probably should have manually reviewed it but I had been wondering why my cleric sucks so much. It was trying to spam 15th when my tank got to 85% instead of actually healing.

I don't know if it's the 4/19 patch or what, but I cannot get this to convert a 110 bard to 105 for nothing. I've done it successfully for other classes but the bard is a total no-go.

Doesn't help that we have so few decent bard inis here to begin with.

This was converted to a resource @Jarsath12, with that being said you'll have to go to the top of the page, click the overview button, then click the "download" button in top right corner to download the file and try it out. I've remove the original (broken) link and linked the download button on the overview page directly.

Is this not supported any longer? Because, it doesn't work for me. It keeps higher level spells in the ini, and keeps casting a Talisman spell over and over, until I run oom. Using a 105 Shaman ini on my 92 Shaman.

It was lasted updated in 2018, so I think this would only work for MuleAssist macro if anything at this point. It was coded for the older version of KA9 or KA10, and we're on 11 headed to 12. The ini setup with conditions and such, may not be supported by this auto-adjust macro.

If you need help with a ini, post another thread and share the ini code (use code button to put it in a box, </> button in text editor) with your issues. Lots of us enoy troubleshooting ini files.

This macro has been updated to a function in mq2mule which can downgrade and upgrade any ini file.
/plugin mq2mule to load it.
