I am wondering how i should go about gearing my heroic warrior. (regular server)

from what i have been researching, i really cannot find a good path that would make sense and still be viable for progression.

my thoughts would be using the heroic gear till 92 then get fear touched until cap, then EoK gear, with the quest augs from Hot and Feerrott.

I would like to see if you all have a certain gearing path for your tank when leveling (war specifically).

Thank You.

***INFO***
i have a 6 box : war, cleric, chanter, wiz, wiz, wiz
gold accounts
all heroic toons
new server = no available 105 for PL

When I'm gearing up a group from scratch, I use defiant and whatever I can find in the bazaar until 75, then spam HAs and gear up from the HA currency.

But if you're gearing up a group after you already have 105's, the route you mentioned would probably work best.

1. Make friends with 5 level 105s
2. Get them to add you to their group
3. bask in the levels as they fly by in a few days
4. get your 105 gear as EoK rots in every T1 zone in EoK....
5. Get your AAs and enjoy the game

Assuming you are boxing and have 3 105's-plop your 85 heroic in group (not in tank role) in Frontier Mountains and in about 3 days with exp pots =105 . I dont even bother gearing them until 105, they just work in Heroic until 105. Then sit in prince's room (chardok) and camp the 3 namers. Doesn't take long to have a full set of Selrach's. Dont afk camp this room though it can get ugly fast. Slow respawn time so its a good place to semi afk while getting stuff done around the house....like that dirty laundry thats piling up or the clean clothes all over! Lots of rots called out though Chardok can be a pita getting to camps with the see invis if you dont understand the RUN FAST PAST mechanics there.

EoK group augments off namers are pretty sick..just do the research.

Lots of decent weapons in EoK. If you can afford saving up for krono or can whale it, do yourself a favor and purchase EoK rare warrior primary/secondary or 2hander depending on your poison.

Its always been my preference to grind out the current expansion end level and a bunch of aa first then fall back and do progression. Nothing worse than a paper tank when you've got some serious dps in group.

If you dont have a box group of 105's then what Razkle said!

I'm just going to chirp in here.....unless the person is not wanting to go gold or would prefer to be a DPS tank over a survivability tank, then there is ZERO reason for all tanks to not be using Honed Wurmslayer.....it's worn effect is insanely over powered 1750 off all hits after avoidance/mitigation is taken into account (~10% of a max hit from a mob hitting for 17.5k). This worn effect is beyond insane for any tanks and if I was keeping my bards gold...they would have it to to soak away some of the damage while pulling.

I am confused on the whole HA thing
Can someone explain this please?

He's saying at 75 start to run heroic adventures and use the currency you get from those to buy gear (the currency depends on what expansion HA's you run) from the vendors. (I'm doing this right now with my group. Running COTF HA's and then using the Marks of Valor to buy gear from the vendors in EWK)

I started 3 characters heroic on a new server recently to play around with war/necro/enchanter ,

At 85 you can do the heroics in TBM for group currency but first you will want the quest augs from the hot and feerott. From there you can farm the missions in TBM for currency and buy the rec 90 req 85 stuff for your tank (all characters give the currency to the tank its tradeable) then when you hit 90 you can sell all of that at a slight loss and upgrade to the rec 95 req 90 gear.

What are the names of the quests you are running in TBM ? Please
Thanks
