Other - Finding a EMU Server

Hi All,

Wife and I are trying to find a server that's a good fit.

- We both want to play our own groups (yes MQ)
- Would like at least OoW.
- Shaman / Druid Main healer viability | Same with SK / Pal MT viability
- QoL features we like (not all required) Auto Scribe early spells, easy travel systems, large bags, Pet gear system (Ascendant pet feature looked cool).
- As close to a live experience as possible

Lazarus looks amazing, but worried if the fht 6 limit is per public IP that we wont be able to play together if we want our own group.

Other servers we looked at:
EQ Might, EQ Titan and EZ Server.

We have our own server, but we like people too lol

Talk to the admins on Laz but it won't be an issue.
They know the difference between 2 x 6 and 1 x 12. I know of more than a couple couples that play there with no issue.

I'm a very large fan of EQ Might as well, and its where I currently play.

Jumping in as a comment on EZ Server, since it's my main time sink...

You said you were looking for a server where SHM/DRU main healer viability, and SK/Pal MT. EZ Server fails on both those fronts. EZ is a "large box" server, where most people pigeon hole into main tanking a warrior, with clerics as the primary healers, and boxing between 12 and 24. Paladins are revamped to be "group" healers via their custom "epic aug" that procs a heal each swing for the group. There are some players who are running SK as their MT, but they're the minority.

That being said, it's a server with plenty to keep you busy! Worth at least jumping on and seeing who's around. You could box 12, and your wife could box 12, and you'd be a 24 box team!

Lazarus is a great server. The grind is real however. I’ve been playing EQMight the last few months and it’s been a great experience. Lots of custom encounters, QoL updates, very active Admin. Most use e3 there for automation.

Between Lazarus and EQ Might, which one is closer to EQ classic encounter/map wise?

Neither, both have a ton of QoL with porting to different zones. They are not a "vanilla" experience.
EQ Might takes you on a themepark view of earlier (pre-PoP) content, requiring you to clear some of those bosses; Lazarus bypasses them completely.
EQMight you'll need to do a partial (modified) flag through PoP, Laz, this is largely skippable nowadays.
GoD progression is somewhat worthwhile for both of them, and both of them have some shortcuts.
